Hello! I've set an annual run goal this year and noticed any distance traveled during a "workout" activity does not go toward this goal.
I have running activities, but I also participate in some workout groups that do more HIIT-style workouts that include running, but also lunges, hill sprints, etc. I would like for the distance traveled during these workouts to go towards my goal, but they do not appear to do so under the current classification. I would prefer to not reclassify the HIIT workouts as "runs" since the pace and heart rate data will be somewhat different from my standard running activity.
Is there a way to accomplish this? Thanks!

Hey @irtemed88,
Since the run goal is already created, adjusting your HIIT activities to Run activities seems to be the only workaround. However, for future distance goals you create it may be beneficial to set the sports type of the goal to "All Sports" opposed to "All Run".

Thanks for the reply. The problem with "all sports" is that will include other activities like cycling which I don't want for this particular goal. I've since resorted to tracking this goal via Garmin Connect since they support a more detailed breakdown of workouts I can use for getting the data points I'm interested in. Thanks again for your help though!
