It would be cool to have a section where common rides or runs for that person are filtered to display all the activities that you have done with that specific person. So let’s say I am A and I am friend of B on strava, when I go on B’s profile I can see already all his activities. Would be cool to be able to see just all B’s activities that were done together (A+B). Just a way to filter more efficiently the activities based on participants. Thanks!

Hey @michelefenoglio,
Would you mind expanding more on your idea? Are you suggesting there should be an area within your profile page that displays the Group Activities you have performed?

Hi Bryant!
what I meant was to create a section, with the profile of a person what shows just all the activities that you have done with that specific person. So let’s say I am A and I am friend of B on strava, when I go on B’s profile I can see already all his activities. Would be cool to be able to see just all B’s activities that where done together (A+B). Just a way to filter more efficiently the activities based on participants. Thanks!

When viewing an athlete that I follow, there should be a button to press that will show all activities that we've done together.

I often find I'm following athletes and I don't remember when or where I met them. This button would solve that problem!

I like the idea above but for some reason can't Kudos it.

I really like this idea and it seems like it should be pretty simple to implement.

It happens when I am with old friends that we want to remember an old ride that we did together, and as I spent some time to add photos even to old activities, we could enjoy looking at the photos too. And it would be really great if we could search for activities (in my activities) done with another athlete.

I would love to see this feature. I spent a couple hours yesterday trying to figure out how many rides/miles I had completed with a particular friend on Strava and there's no way to do it short of manually sorting through hundreds or thousands of activities.

When I search my activities I have multiple filters. I normally search by name, but sometimes I would like to search by name and also by the people I took the activity with. It would be nice to have an extra filter to be able to say:

"Hey, I want all the activities I did with John Doe".

I think it would add real value because the actual list does not display that information. As a workaround it would be good to at least say in the activity summary whether you did the activity by yourself or with someone else.

Thanks!

Hey everyone, this functionality has returned and it's known as "The Roster", a Strava Labs project. You can find it here: https://labs.strava.com/roster/

Strava Labs showcases interesting side projects that are independent of Strava and may be added, removed (or can break) at any time.

@CarlTorrecillas hello! I understand you'd like to see all the activities you've done with a certain person. Have you checked out https://labs.strava.com/roster/ ? It shows you your top training partners, how much time you've spent being active together, and more stats.
Is this what you were looking for or do you still think it's necessary to be able to apply a search filter on your activities for your followers?

Hi Soren,

I think it still applies. The reason for that is that you are searching activities and it’s another powerful one. You may remember that you ran with your friend but can’t really find the activity because perhaps you have loads. I think it is quite useful.

Don’t get me wrong, having your “top partners” is good to know but in terms of the activities I think it’s a complete different filter very valuable when you train with different group of people and have several activities on a weekly basis

@Soren Thank you very much! Just tested it and works great!

Fantastic! Is it possible to display data from years prior to 2022? It's working perfectly for me, but only for activities 2022 and later.
