I think it would be great if Strava gave users the option to opt-in to activity discoverability for races and workout sessions.

What is it?

Activity discoverability is the ability to opt-in to a setting and find activties tagged as races/workouts with the most engagement in the Strava community (outside of the athlete's own circle of friends).

Why do we need it?

This opt-in will give athletes the ability to see races/workouts with high engagement from other athletes they may not already follow. This allows the world to celebrate the athletes who completed races or workout efforts and increases interest in the sport. This is also a learning opportunity for athletes that are also competing in that sport to get ideas for new workouts and racing strategy from other athletes across the world.

How does it work?

- Athlete will need to opt-in to be sent races/workouts from athletes outside of their own circle because everyone may not want this feature implemented
- Athlete sees activities that are tagged as workouts or races on the home page or a new page specific to posts tagged as races/workouts. The highest engagement posts are on top.
- Athlete can choose don't show me this activity if they are not interested to see activities from specific athlete. If athlete says they don't want to see this, then can clarify why they did not want to see the specific workout or race
