I usually use the automated routes feature and I like it. But it would be nice, if the filtering criteria would be more refined. For cycling I can choose the following kilometers: 2, 10, 20, 30, 50, 80, 120, 160.

Why these steps? If I would like to go 40km with MTB or 100km with race bike, it is hard to find i fiiting route. A slider to choose the distance would be much better.

If I'm trying to create a cycling route the app jumps from 30km to 50km. Better would be to be able to select a range of distances (or even time taken if you want to integrate the Strava estimator into it), so that routes can be planned with more finesse.

I suggest that you be able to place a max and minimum km range, and then have suggested routes between those populate (similar idea for time of route based on Strava estimate).

Hello. We wanted to let you know that your idea submission from August, 2022 regarding adding a slider for automated routes has received little support from the Community, and will not be added to our Product Roadmap in the foreseeable future.  The idea submission will be archived.

Please note that your feedback is valuable to Strava. As stated in our Community Idea Guidelines, we receive many idea submissions each week, and realistically, there may be various reasons that prevent us from including an idea on our Product Roadmap.

We want to thank you for taking the time to submit your idea and we look forward to your continued contributions to the Strava Community.
