Awesome that you can manually record a bike ride and add tenths of a mile, but why can I not add elevation gain to the manual upload?? Great for when I have the data, but an error occurs in my wahoo app and I need to manually upload. Can this feature please be added!

Hey there, thanks for submitting this suggestion. The functionality to manually enter elevation data already exists within Strava. To find it, login to the website and create a manual activity by clicking on the upper right + symbol and hovering to "Add Manual Entry". Thank you for your contribution and effort to help our online forums to continue to grow.

Ahhh sick. I never use the computer usually for strava. Ok then, could that tiny little section be added to the mobile application? That would be way more beneficial and more simple to complete, as I had no idea it could have been done on the computer. Thanks for letting me know that though.

You're welcome! I can go ahead and modify your idea and specify to add the functionality to the mobile app. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

I’ve noticed that when you upload a manual activity to Strava, elevation is not an input option. This feature should be added below time and distance as elevation gained during a workout can change the intensity of it greatly. I Just thought that this was something that needed to be added and I hope everyone is having a great day!

@Maxthompson - If you use the web browser version of Strava, you do have the option to input elevation gain.  For some reason, Strava has not made that available on the mobile app, but at least there is a way to do it by using the web browser.

@anchskier That’s true; however, it doesn’t count towards your overall fitness level and is essentially just cosmetic
