I discovered you can't undo giving Kudos. Seems a bit strange. What if you accidentally like someone's post? Should this be added as a thing you can do? Seems quite annoying once you notice it's not possible
I recently discovered that a friend David I had been supporting with kudos holds views that are deeply offensive and against my values. This made me wish there was an option to *remove* kudos that I've given. I believe others might benefit from this feature as well, whether it's for similar reasons or just reconsidering past interactions.
Would it be possible to implement a "remove kudos" feature?
I'm amazed that once I've given kudos I cannot click/tap it again to remove it, as you can on all other social media platforms. It seems a simple and necessary function.
There are many reasons I might give kudos by accident or, immediately afterward givin kudos, rethink and decide it's not appropriate. On a phone I might be trying to tap to see who has given kudos on a post of interest to me and I accidentally add my own kudos because those two actions are within a finger's width of each other. Or perhaps I think very highly of someone's activity and give them kudos but then realise it might seem a bit odd to them, given my connection to them or lack of it.
Anyway, whatever the valid reasons for wanting to remove kudos, it should be made possible on Strava. Thanks
Have you ever found yourself scrolling through your Strava feed and accidentally giving kudos to an activity that you didn’t intend to? Unfortunately, the ability to undo kudos isn’t a thing, so now the entire world knows you gave kudos to an activity that didn’t rate it (for me, this is all virtual activities. I 100% do not give kudos for activities completed in a world of make believe, i.e. Watopia).
