I think Strava should add a dislike button to activity comments so we can discourage negative comments and discourage people from posting them
In 5 years of using Strava, I never had a negativ comment.
@DanieleMassaro Yeah, but if there is one though, ya never know
@Soren Can we get a comment dislike button added?
@Devon we review all newly submitted ideas weekly and consolidate trends to be shared with our product teams on a regular basis. Currently, your suggestion is open to voting, and if it is among the most popular ideas when our product team reviews them, then its status could be updated to "under consideration" alongside other popular community ideas. There’s a lot to take into account when it comes to what gets prioritized for future development. In general, an idea with more votes, comments and enthusiasm will stand out more than one with less engagement. Equally important is how aligned an idea is with our current priorities. Our internal teams are continuously assessing and discussing opportunities and areas for development. We highly value what our athletes are interested in and must balance this with our vision and roadmap, therefore we cannot entertain every area that our community wants us to delve into. The better the suggestion integrates with our priorities, the more likely we are to implement it. Hope this helps clarify your expectations, we appreciate your participation and ideas in the Community!
This would be more useful here in CommunityHub.
Hello. We wanted to let you know that your idea submission from Sept. 2022 regarding adding a dislike button has received little support from the Community and will not be added to our Product Roadmap in the foreseeable future. The idea submission will be archived.
Please note that your feedback is valuable to Strava. As stated in our Community Idea Guidelines, we receive many idea submissions each week, and realistically, there may be various reasons that prevent us from including an idea on our Product Roadmap.
We want to thank you for taking the time to submit your idea and we look forward to your continued contributions to the Strava Community.
