For years, I have been jotting down every training to the calendar on my mobile phone.
Trainings are: running, swimming, bike.

  • Date, start time
  • Title
  • Distance
  • Duration
  • Pace (minutes/km)
  • Heart Rate (average)

    Why not enabling the Strava App (Android / iOS) to export this fields
    to an universal calendar file (*.ics) using the share function?

Better late than never... and not Strava-out-of-the-box, but there you go:

https://strautomator.com/feature/calendar

Thanks.

I use Strava Android App 277.8

a) How can I activate  Strautomator?

Where do I "...click or tap the "Connect with Strava" button, you'll be redirected to Strava to give Strautomator.com..."

b) How can I use my local calendar on my Android phone?

(I do not use a cloud calendar.)

@Gubrist you don't need to install anything. Just connect your Strava account to Strautomator, then go to https://strautomator.com/calendar and follow the instructions.

You can use the calendar with any app that supports .ics subscriptions (which is the vast majority of calendar apps).

Thanks, igromadas

How do I connect my Strava Account in the Android App to Strautomator?

You connect Strautomator to your Strava account, not to the app. There's no extra app to download or install.

Just open https://strautomator.com/auth/login, authorise it to read and write to your Strava account, and then open the "Calendar" tab to view the calendar options.

Thanks, got it.

I have installed

ICSx⁵

Which is an Android app
to subscribe to remote (“Webcal”) or local iCalendar files (like time tables of your school/university or event files of your sports team). It will download each iCalendar file regularly at a given interval andimport it into a native read-only calendar, which then can be used with your favorite calendar app.

In the export the
Duration
is missing. 🙄

On the other hand,
- Distance and
- Average heart rate
are duplicated.

For
Running
km/h is indicated (as for bike)
instead of Pace min/km
- as indicated on my Sport watches (Garmin, Coros).

For
swimming
elevation (0 m)
is indicated although it makes no sense.

How can I reach out to
https://strautomator.com/
for the above-mentioned feedback?

@Gubrist I'm right here, feedback noted 🙂

I'll add the missing pace field to the default calendar template, and avoid setting the elevation gain in case it's 0.

Thanks, in advance
@igoramadas

PS:

In the export the Duration is missing.

On the other hand,
- Distance and
- Average heart rate
are duplicated.

Thanks,
@igoramadas

Running provides currently following duplicated data:

Distance: 15.9km
Distance: 15.9km - Elevation gain: 254m
Average pace: 5:44min/km
Average pace: 5:44min/km - Average speed: 10.5km/h

Average heart rate: 145bpm
Average heart rate: 145bpm - Max heart rate: 176bpm
Average heart rate: 145bpm - Max heart rate: 176bpm

Can you please (let) reduce it?

@Gubrist bug will be fixed within the next 24 hours.

Thanks,
@igoramadas  😀

Can you please add the duration (hours and minutes)?
