The web version of Strava activity has a really useful feature. It allows to move the mouse along the activity graph (below) and see all the details while at the same time seeing the corresponding point on the map.

One way I use this feature is to measure distances between various points on the activity. Sometimes that is useful for a race analysis and sometimes I use that to compare accuracy of different GPS devices or different GPS modes.

But unfortunately the distance is shown with 1 decimal point accuracy even though I am pretty sure Strava has the exact data up to 1 meter accuracy. That doesn't make much sense because all other metrics are shown with the maximum available accuracy. The 0.1 mile accuracy is especially problematic when measuring distances between points on the activity track. For example, let's say one point shows 3.1 mile distance and another one - 3.9 miles. Due to the rounding the first one can actually be anywhere between 3.1 and 3.199 and the second one can be anywhere between 3.9 and 3.999. Therefore the measured distance could end up being anywhere between 0.7 and 0.9 miles - not accurate at all for any practical purposes.

Can Strava please consider increasing the distance accuracy to two decimal points?

I strongly support @Silentvoyager for his/her request to display distance on Strava graphics with two or more decimal digits. With one decimal digit, the values of distance calculated from the distance labels between two points on the activity course is very questionable, especially for the short distance, say, shorter than 1 mile or 1 km.

If Strava decided to display only with one decimal digit for the reason of keeping the graphs clean, users should be  given a choice to display distance with two or three decimal digits in the Settings, or Preferences, whatever Strava uses.

I really appreciate if Strava takes quick action to address this issue.
