A friend of mine is about to start a long run. A very long run around the world and a world record attempt! I think a Strava feed profile of Tim Franklin would be cool. Check out his website: www.timrunstheworld.com He is starting in Brisbane Australia in early December and will pass through Christchurch where I'm hoping to join him for a small section as he heads north. The goal feature may get more use if you can set goals privately and not just publicly. I just set up my first goal however I deleted it immediately upon finding it public in the feed. I like the idea of setting goals on Strava but I am reluctant to set up goals if others can view them. My preference would be to only allow myself to view the goal. Similar to having personal goals outside of Strava, you have the option to share your personal goals with others if you wish to. Personally, I feel new and incomplete goals have no place in the activity feed. Instead, in addition to publishing a new/incomplete goal directly to the activity feed (which is currently the default), perhaps an additional option to automatically publish to the activity feed upon the completion of the goal? Below is an example of how I would use the settings if they were available: Who can see this goal? 🞅 Everyone ◉ Only me 🞅 Followers Goal publish settings ☐ Publish to activity feed now [disabled] ☑ Publish to activity feed when the goal is complete

We all seem to have some favourite "web only" features that exists on the website but not in the apps, and there's a very long tail of small feature inconsistencies, each of them missed by someone. A low hanging fruit improvement would be offering a jump to the web version on screens like activity and profile, from within the app, either in a webview or to the system browser (this might need some tweaks to carry over authentification and prevent the "open in app" matchers registers with the OS to fire). The result would be an easier user interaction path to the browser as a fall-back UI. This would greatly reduce the "inconsistency cost" of allowing web and app teams to innovate without excessive coordination. The list of feature inconsistencies is long and it will likely never be completely worked through to the end, so the "mitigation link" would alsways have seome value. And perhaps working off that list of missing features shouldn't even be attempted, because browsers and apps have very different thresholds for "too much clutter".

With a small change, this screen can be so much More Useable Could the Date format be changed to MMM DD September 25 August 23 Will Look like Sep 25 Aug 23 (The 1st column chars will be 1 width) This will allow the last column (relative effort) to be readable (I cannot make out the RE number) for months like September. It will also make the screen look much much neater (looks messy at the moment).

When I click on the map of an activity in the app, it gives me the map and the list of segments from the activity. I can select segments to see where they are along the activity. I usually like to go through the segments to see for which ones I want to check the details. Currently I always have to scroll the next segments into view to select them. It would be very convenient if for example a segment would be scrolled into the center upon selection. That way I could then easily select the next (or previous) segment without having to scroll. Example: In the attached screenshot it would be nice if the segment list would scroll up by one segment when I selected the "Welcome to Mojstrana" segment", so that I can easily select the next segment below.

I have a suggest to add a feature. When you follow a gpx, screen is fading after several seconds. You have to tuch the screen to have more light for a while, and fading several seconds later. Could it be possible to auto light the screen several meters before a way changing and auto fade after seconds. Like that, not necessary to tuch the screen, free hands for handlebar.

Currently, when logging a tandem ride it only includes one person's data. Please create an option for tandem riders so more data is included.

Some athletes don't know the difference between segments and routes, so they end up creating a route as a huge segment. It would be great if those segments can be converted to routes with a paid subscription plan membership, so we can enjoy those routes as well without having to copy them manually. Thank you.

(MTB) Segment GPS track can be almost identical for years but track itself could be faster/slower by many reasons. Track being faster is not a big problem but track being slower is. It would be nice if segment creator could be able to archive activities/leaderboards if segment for example is modified in purpose significantly slower.

Hi, it would be great to have a map that is covered with colors where there was a segment and a different color where no segment.

Primarily for Club Group Ride (Cycling) It would be convenient to have a "maybe" option once a Ride or an event has been created. The only alternative to this day is "Join the event." This would benefit the group community as it would signal who will be joining a ride and who might also be interested in joining. I appreciate your consideration, Julien Dion

One integration feature that some runners on STRAVA might not know about is CityStrides, which is a website that pulls GPS activity data and aggregates a percentage of streets completed in cities around the world. This is currently only viewable on the CityStrides site, but those participating might like to see and/or show off how many streets they've finished within STRAVA itself. This could be framed as just another "challenge" runners can opt into, similar to the monthly distance/endurance already offered, with an inceremental percentage completetion after each run. I realize that the existing personal heat map functionality captures some of this already, but lacks the granularity of a percentage-based metric. Cheers @dougivey for planting the seed on this.

My partner and I like taking our dog out for a run. As both of us are Strava users, we've decided to create a Strava profile for the dog to track its activity (so we don't overtrain the poor thing!). So now each time we run with it, we add it to our activity as "someone who didn't record". This way it's also kept off segment leaderboards. However, it is sort of tedious having to log out, log into dog's profile, etc, just to accept the activity invite. Would it be possible to have a special profile type e.g. "pet" or similar, which would allow its owners to freely add the pet's involvment to activities? Kinda like child profiles on Google, where the parents can have control over it if they so choose. Or this could also be implemented as sort-of shared equipment, with individually logged activities, i.e. one could filter the activities to those, where the dog was present, and it would show-up in the activity summary etc. Additionally this same dog could be "shared" among users so that e.g. my partner and I could both log activities with the same dog.

I am very happy that finally Golf made it to the list of supported activities. Unfortunately there is no option to track shoes for this acitivity. Having several pairs for different season / weather condition it would be perfect to have the same tracking fiel as in runnig or walking. Txs for considering. ralf

Hey, like almost all my rides are on a velodrome and a track bike...can we get track bikes in the gear please? You catered to gravel, cross, road....where are the adult bikes? hmmmmm? It would be fantastic if we could use the physical buttons on the Apple Watch to pause an activity. The workout app does this by using the Digital Crown and side button at the same time when swimming. Is this possible Strava?

I know there used to be an association between Strava and parkrun. But regardless of the reason for that ending parkrun is a great force for good and encourages people to exercise. My feature request is to have a runtype category of 'parkrun' much like there is one for 'race' I hope this is the right place, thanks for opening this up Strava

I often play bowls, and just for kicks log the activity, although I use the 'Walk' activity type, it would be great if an additional activity type of 'Bowls' could be added.
