I would like to see lawn mowing added as an activity. It's aerobic, lasts 30 min to 2 hours, with up to 2 miles of travel, and provides an upper body and lower body workout.

Thanks for submitting your idea to add lawn mowing as a Sport Type. It has been reviewed by our moderation team and is now open to voting.

 

We recommend using "Workout" for all activities that aren't supported on Strava in the meantime, or in this instance, recording it as a walk and specifying that it was lawn mowing in the Title or description.

Ive seen some pretty bad ideas for sport suggestions, but this one is actually kinda funny, so i would absolutely not be opposed to having it added. Thanks for the chuckle

I don’t walk or ride the days I plan to mow my grass, it’s strenuous enough to warrant tracking as an activity. My HR averages about 140 for an hour or more. 
if we can have velomobile ride, I’d say there’s a lot more people mowing grass than riding fully faired recumbents. I’d use Cardio but you haven’t even added that.

Confirmed.  My first mowing of Spring in Australia, my heart rate max was 148 b/min.  I am 49 years old.  I waited a week too long to mow, grass was massively difficult **bleep**.
