When viewing the laps section on an activity, a run or bike ride, the lap (say a mile) elevation only displays difference from START to FINISH. I would much prefer showing the entire gain/loss in that mile. It could be the hardest mile in the world, gaining 2000 ft and losing 1999 ft, and the lap would display "1 ft" of gain. This would provide much more accurate stats at-a-glance!

Thanks for submitting your idea on showing the total gain/loss of elevation for each lap. It has been reviewed by our moderation team and is now open to voting.
