In the mobile app, the Segments page is currently just organized by Activity Type (Run, then Ride), then by Added Date, descending. That's fine... but we need different ways to find our saved segments. Eg, a search field, or filters based on length, elevation, etc.

Also, the app only shows the most recent 100 starred segments; it's weird you can't see any older ones???

This feedback also applies to the desktop web view, which just gives you a long paginated list without any way to find a segment you saved.

Strongly agree with need for much better way(s) of sorting Starred segments. This really becomes a problem if you use Garmin devices as they only allow 100 Strava Live segments (unlike Wahoo that does not seem to have a limit). This means that you have to check each time you choose a diffierent route that the Strava segments on that ride are in the top 100 (and even then my Garmin device does not always recognise some of them).

For your starred segments page, it would be nice to be able to sort them. It seems like they are in the order of which you starred them, from newest star to oldest. I'd love to be able to sort them by location as well, so you can see which segments you might want to attack while planning a route in a certain location. Maybe others can chime in on other sortable data fields?

It would be great to have a separate category distinct from segments for routes longer than typical segments, e.g., an entire trail loop that is 10-15 miles long or retracing a race course.  While long segments can be created, it would be nice to have a version of segments dedicated to longer routes.

@astoraska -  I am confused why it would need to be something different than a segment?  Just because of length?  Is there some different functionality you would want for longer "courses" that isn't in place for segments?  Personally, I am a big fan of the longer segments.  I think they present a number of additional challenges compared to shorter ones.  You have more potential weather impacts, traffic concerns (other trail users and/or vehicles) to factor in, nutrition, etc... They take more commitment by the athlete to make a solid effort.

Totally agree re longer segments, which is why it would be nice to at least have them tabbed/sorted/filterable rather than having them buried amongst countless redundant 0.25 etc mi segments.  I certainly don’t want prohibit longer segments - the opposite - because I personally only really care about the longer segments.  I wouldn’t change anything, thinking of more of a sorting filtering type of function (both for searching and post ride).  Right now you filter by 4-HC, which is not useful unless you live in Boulder. Maybe call them something different than a “segment,” or not.  I’m not too concerned about the name, but, as for my rationale, if you are talking about an entire course or loop, etc, which I am, then it is literally not a segment.

On the desktop webpage, being able to sort your starred favorite segments. For example click to sort by, elevation difference, average grade percentage, distance, or even sorting by segment name, etc.
