Time based PRs for segments become more or less become a collection of times when you had the biggest tailwind.  It would be great to have the option for users with power meters to have their PRs based on average power for the segment.

Sometimes there is a need to compare segment results based on a power rather than a time. I realize that it might be not so useful for overall results as some athletes do not have a power meter, moreover there are differences in weight (relative power would be a more fair indicator). But I'd suggest to add that possibility at least to My Results table.

Hello. We wanted to let you know that your idea submission from February of 2023 will be archived. While this idea is interesting, we don’t have any immediate plans to implement this and currently aren’t able to prioritize this idea.

Please note that your feedback is valuable to Strava. As stated in our Community Idea Guidelines, we receive many idea submissions each week, and realistically, there may be various reasons that prevent us from including an idea on our Product Roadmap.

We want to thank you for taking the time to submit your idea and we look forward to your continued contributions to the Strava Community.

Additionally, we recently introduced a feature that may interest you.  Best Efforts for cycling  tracks top performances for average power over 5 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour and 2 hours. It also produces a power curve showing your best average power outputs from time periods of your choosing.
