Provide the option to suggest 100 kilometer routes on IOS App

EFFECTIVE APRIL, 2024, IT'S POSSIBLE TO GENERATE A  100k SUGGESTED ROUTE ON THE ANDROID APP BY USING THE DISTANCE SLIDER TO SELECT 100KM.  

Hi Strava,

The mobile app route suggestion builder is great. I would like to have a 100km option. 

Here’s why: I can only choose between 80km routes or 120km routes. Selecting 80km often gives me a route between 72 and 85 km. And selecting 120 gives me routes between 115-135 km. A suggested route of 90 to 100 km is hard to get. I have to refresh the suggestions of 80 and 120 a lot. 

Here’s how: simply add 100km option to the list. Or add a text input field to provide a specific length. Or even better, a range selector. 

Make it fun: linking this to your gran fondo challenge would be extra fun! Add a button on the challenge page to directly suggest a route for your next Gran Fondo. The Gran Fondo also makes a suggested route of 100km a relevant option.

I wanted to let you know you can now choose from a slider to select distance. (ANDROID APP ONLY)  Just select the "length" button at the top and the slider will appear:

If I click on "length" I do not have this slider option. 

Can you please explain exactly on how to get there?

I have updated Strava to the last version as well.

Just checked it, there is really no slider. The old bullet list with 80 km and 120 km and nothing in between is still there (Strava IPhone App version 355.0.4).

@Jane  Can you maybe double check if this feature is really pushed through as it seems like I am not the only one who cannot see this.

I did some digging and found out the distance slider is only available on the Android App.  If you're on IOS you won't see it.

Apologies that I didn't realize that and caused confusion.  

I'm going to move this idea back into "gathering kudos" status and specify that it's still requested for the IOS App.  Again - so sorry for providing misleading information.

Thank you for the update!

While you are checking to add the feature, I have maybe another useful suggestion to would add a lot of value to the routes section.

It would be a good feature to also include an option to choose in which direction you would like to ride.
