I think having a Track & Field Finderwith comments within maps can be a beneficial feature for athletes.
Athletes train at public tracks, play soccer, play football
We don't know if the tracks are open or closed to the public. Or if there are bathrooms.
There is a website called RunTrack.Run that helps to find tracks, but I think it can be improved if more of the sports community help in operations. The running community can list information about the track's access, opening/closing times, bathroom access, using a general comment feature for people to discuss like a club page
The problem is if someone is traveling in a new city, they have to look on Strava's map to see if they can find a nearby track. The routes feature doesn't always show tracks for flat workout sessions and we don't know if it's available.
An example of when I needed this feature - I went to a track this weekend that I thought was open to the public, but it was closed. I got locked in trying to access the track from the backside and then had to jump a fence to get out.
