What is the challenge?
The 9th annual challenge takes place on Saturday, July 1st, 2023 in Chicago.
Anyone who completes the beer mile challenge can have their times uploaded to the website.
How does it work?
The challenge will allow anyone to run a beer mile virtually. One beer for every lap. Runners will have one day to complete the challenge.
Why is it important?
I think the Beer Mile makes running more about community and fun rather than pure competition. It is a different type of challenge because it adds another element to a race. It's not for everyone, but I think it's unique and this makes it interesting because people will think about how to add more variables into fitness challenges.
