Strava Features

ET1
Mt. Kenya

As a Strava user for over 10 years and several as a subscriber member; it is truly disappointing to continue to use the app and find Strava has removed access to every possible feature to those whom are not a subscriber! Sad that an app that many use to better their health by monitoring their activities and search for motivation to improve; you only find disappointment that every feature is a must subscription driven! Did you ever think of young students who are staring out a sport and they cannot afford a subscription. Strava has millions of paying subscribers sad you are so money hungry!

Hey @ET1
Thanks for your post. Over the past few years, there have been significant additions and improvements to our subscription features and overall product. We’ve worked hard to keep our subscription price largely unchanged, but our continuous investments to build an even better experience means we need to adjust.

We’re constantly working to innovate and improve the experience for all active people. Over the past 13 years we have added significant value to the Strava subscription, including features and experiences for route discovery and planning, tracking progress over time, more activity types, improved privacy controls and more. You can find some of these new feature releases on the What's New board on the Community Hub here and on Strava Stories here

As for students, Strava does offer a student discount. In most countries, if you're enrolled at an accredited college or university and 16 or older, then you’re eligible. In some countries, high schoolers are also eligible. You can find out more about our Student Plan here
.
