I want to record my swims on Strava!

Connor_James19

Please help… I bought a Fitbit inspire 2 for the sole purpose of recording swims on Strava. I’ve synchronised both accounts and tested a walk with just the Fitbit (phone left at home) and upon finishing the walk as I returned home, Strava had uploaded the walk by itself. I thought my swim would do the same. But nothing had uploaded to Strava. I see no way of doing it other than to press the record button on my phone before I get into the pool… but even then I worry it won’t track any movement from my Fitbit as my phone will be still in my bag!?… does anyone else struggle with getting this to work!? Any tips are welcomed! Thanks in advance

You can sync activities without GPS like swimming from fitbit to Strava with this tool: https://www.fittostrava.com

Do you know if Fit to Strava still works if you move your account to Google? I’ve been using it for a long time with my Fitbit login, but I keep getting prompted by Fitbit to move the account to Google. I suspect this is irreversible, and it would be really annoying if Fit to Strava stopped working as a result.
Thanks…

Wow! Thank you so much. It is annoying that this doesn’t happen automatically though like how my walk almost instantly uploaded itself to Strava upon completion. I would love to see a map as well on Strava of me in the pool lol… but this is better than nothing. Thanks again
