Hello,

I suggest that Strava count elevation from rides synchronized from Rouvy intervals. Garmin Connect does.

For example:

If I had chosen a flat route, the distance would have been much greater.

Thank You.

Please add the ability to log a treadmill run with elevation gain. Most treadmills allow you to run with an incline, and some watches will even capture this incline and elevation gain for you. Take this scenario: you log a treadmill run on your watch capturing speed, distance, heart rate, laps, AND elevation gain. When it syncs to Strava, it wipes out the elevation. If you remove the treadmill tag in the web app, it shows elevation = 0, which can’t be edited. Your only option at this point is to delete the activity, losing your lap and heart rate data, and manually create a non-treadmill activity with elevation entered. It’s a poor solution.

(I understand there are other requests for manually editing data in existing activities, but I’m specifically asking that you allow elevation gain in treadmill tagged activities so it doesn’t get wiped when syncing from a watch. Or alternatively, fulfill the other requests to manually edit it on existing activities.)
