Would like to see a mid-level subscription maybe in the $2-$3/month or $18-$25/year range that only includes the current free features and adds the formerly free Route features, without including all of the other things that people may or may not want in the full subscription.

Thanks for submitting your idea to introduce a subscription option that only offers the additional Route features. It has been reviewed by our moderation team and is now open to voting.

A while back, Strava tried offering 3 separate feature packs for a lower price, with discounts as you added more packs. I reckon it didn’t have much success because the way the features were segmented, many people wanted 2 packs, at which point there wasn’t much difference with the full subscription anyway. Plus, the full subscription was more affordable back then.

Things are different now, I think. The subscription is more expensive, and includes a lot more features most people don’t care about. I sure don’t want to pay $80 a year just to graph my progress on a particular route, which I could do for free if I was so inclined.

That subscription model may be worth revisiting.

From what I understand, Strava had a subscription package that was a little like this back in the past. It was removed in order to simplify the product offering but, at the same time, it also removed the customer choice that may, potentially, have made a Strava subscription affordable enough to justify spending some money on. I would gladly welcome it's return.

Hello. We wanted to let you know that your idea submission from last year will be archived. While this idea is interesting, we don’t have any immediate plans to implement this and currently aren’t able to prioritize this idea.

Please note that your feedback is valuable to Strava. As stated in our Community Idea Guidelines, we receive many idea submissions each week, and realistically, there may be various reasons that prevent us from including an idea on our Product Roadmap.

We want to thank you for taking the time to submit your idea and we look forward to your continued contributions to the Strava Community.

I also wanted to let you know that we are in the process of developing a family Subscription plan.  To receive updates on that, I recommend following this post
