Outrigger Canoeing - Please Add This Sport ♥️

I absolutely love Strava! It's fun to share my adventures, and even more fun to celebrate those of my friends!

Please consider adding the sport of outrigger canoeing to the list of sports.

Outrigger canoeing is totally different than canoeing without an outrigger, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding (SUP).

Thank you for considering this amazing and culturally significant sport.

Curious to know if there's any data that you would like to be displayed differently than the current "canoe" sport type or what other factors are different.

All they would have to do is change SUP sport to Paddle. This would cover all sorts of paddling sports - canoe, kayak, outrigger, SUP, prone paddle, etc.

it’s like how they have bike but then you can go in and add the type of bike - whether it’s mountain, gravel, road, track, etc

I´am a canoe sprint athlete and I would like to suggest to Strava that, as with running and bicycling…. canoeing could use the race/competition option

Wow, thank you for considering adding Outrigger Canoeing as a separate sport from othering paddling sports such as SUP, canoeing, and kayaking!

Outrigger canoeing is a different sport and has its own cultural, racing, and social organizations.

The outrigger canoe is also a different type of boat with a distinct paddling style.
