I'm an admin of our local running club, the Strava group/club is by invite only, that is, they must be a member of our club (real club).   We receive invites to join the Strava group/club but my only option available is to either accept or decline them.   Usually, on checking their profile they are runners from our local area.   What I would like to do is have the ability to then contact them, supply them with further information that they must be a real club member to join.

I am the administrator of a private cycling club and have the same requirement. A requirement to join our Strava Club is that you are also a member of our local cycling club. Since Strava athletes can use anything for their name, it is sometimes difficult to match a Strava Club Member to our local club membership list. So, I sometimes need to contact the individual before "accepting" or "rejecting" them.

I am a Strava club admin for a large-ish cycling club. We created the Strava Club and invited our members to join the Strava Club. I received a request to join from someone who I do not know. The name they use in Strava does not exactly match any name of people in our club. I would like be able to send this person a message to confirm membership. The only way I have of contacting this person is to make a "Follow" request. But this person does not know that the "Follow" request is from an admin for the club they requested to join so they may not accept--and I may not really want to follow them regardless. I think a feature that allows me to message the requesting individual would be the best way to handle this.
