I’m using Strava on Apple Watch. I like the auto pause/continue function. But it’s quite sensitive. Ie. It will pause when I even look at my watch to check time or check distance. Ideally, there could be some adjustment for this so my watch knows I’ve not actually stopped.
No big issue, but quite often the automatic continue doesn’t sound like it kicks in until several metres after. Doesn’t seem like much i know, but doing that 20-30 times on a long run? It adds up. Is it not recording my progress during these short pauses?
My question is - has anyone worked out if the pause/continue actually records distance progress? Or if it’s purely the audio announcements that feel delayed. The final route would suggest that it’s the latter.
Such a minor thing. Just curious.
