I’m thinking of moving from a Garmin to an Apple watch ultra. On my Garmin its pretty easy to sync routes and segments from strava over to Garmin connect, then maps and segments all sync down to my watch and are well integrated with the watches cycle tracking app.
I’m trying to workout how this would work on the apple watch, given the strava watch app doesnt support mapping, I think I need something like Komoot for GPX routes (shared from others on strava). For live segments I would need the strava app, and there is the native apple workout app.
Which of the 3 apps do you use to start/stop etc?
How do all these apps wort at the same time? Can you easily switch between them?
Are there other options for cyclists? All I want to do is be able to follow routes and have live segments are working the same time like on my Garmin.
