Hi. I’ve earlier made an entre here, also about your offline man function. As I’ve written in a comment there part of the issues I experienced then have been resolved. Great, but now, when I’m offline and openmaps downloaded for offline use I only get the route drawn on a blank background. That surprised me out there on my bicycle.Luckily – being able to remember enough of the context – the orange line gave the little help I needed. And it was Denmark, so little chance of any serious trouble occurring.However greven how the afsende of any kind of background man differs from what must be seen as a normal expectation, the lack of usefulness seems to be potentially dangerous.You should warn of this when users attempt to download routes (or suspend the download function until background maps again appear with the routes), and you should e-mail all users about the decreased usefulness of any downloaded routes.…but given my own past experiences and reading othe

It would be cool to see a Volunteer or Trail Work tag for activities. This is slightly different than the For a Cause tag, which I think gets more use as indicating a fundraiser walk or the like. In the trail communities volunteerism is a huge deal to maintain the trails we use. At lots of big ticket ultras, volunteer hours are required for entry. It'd be so cool to have a yearly volunteer hours total on an athlete profile as well. I initially thought it should be a whole new activity type that gets stored in totals that way, but when they expanded the tags recently (ish) i thought maybe that's an easier lift. And for the naming, my first thought was trail work specifically, but I dont want to leave out other active volunteerism that keeps sport events fun and alive.

I am really sad that Strava decided to destroy usefullness of Strava Maps after May Map update. Elevation lines basically dissapeared, hillshadings is not existing anymore. Strava Map is now blind map.As you can see, I posted screenshot of hills over Bratislava. Human eye cannot comprehend elevation difference.Strava please fix your maps, because paid Strava Premium account doesnt makes sense anymore. Thank you!

Hi developer and community, it would be nice if VAM was available in the segments also in the app as well as on the PC

Wanted to toss this out there, as I’m sure that I am not the only one frustrated on this front. Self-pop muscle maps are kind of pointless for me.I totally get the appeal, don’t get me wrong, but I track my strength training in an analog format, and use muscle maps solely for the social aspect of strava, and somewhat to keep track of my split. There isn’t nearly enough variety available in the workout movements, and even if there was, I would much rather just select the muscles I targeted in that workout.No shade to the feature, I’m sure it is very useful to many, but I just want to be able to simply select the muscles off the map like I used to be able to. Please bring this back!!

Is there any way to stop the thumbnail routes on the mobile home screen from the new update in which they repeatedly trace out the activity routes? It seems to be something that each person can select when they save an activity. The first time seeing it I have a very negative visceral reaction to it, and I continue to find it unappealing enough that I scroll quickly past any activity that is using that function. I realize it’s irrational on my part (hence the “visceral” comment), but I really don’t like it and would like an option to turn it off.-Polk

Why has Strava changed the colour of “My Heatmap - Hot” ? It’s now so much harder to see and instead of being dark and going to lighter and lighter (higher heat = whiter heat) it now goes the opposite way. It’s really dificult to see where you’ve only ran once or twice before and the whole thing just doesn’t look as good. Please change it back Strava. It used to be one of my favourite features. 

Garmin Mobility activities are now automatically mapped to Physical Therapy on Strava.Mobility training is not necessarily physical therapy or rehabilitation. Many athletes use mobility exercises as part of their regular training to improve performance, flexibility, stability, and injury prevention.The current mapping makes it appear as though users are recovering from an injury, which is often inaccurate.Please consider mapping Garmin Mobility activities back to Workout or creating a dedicated Mobility activity type.

Please make away to hide the muscle map and exercises for strength work outs. It’s so inaccurate and is a pain to delete each exercise. 

I recently completed a 3-days cycling tour tour across alps, and it would be a great feature to view the combined routes, miles, elevation ecc. in a single summary. That should be allowed for consecutive activities that starts from the point where the previous day ended. As a passionate cyclist, I’m sure this would be a great plus for us, since there’s no other app that could merge for example a flyover of the whole tour with all statistics.

It’s frustrating that my virtual and e-bike rides (gravel and mountain) aren’t included in challenges/goals.  If I’m out on the road or on a trail having to deal with weather, walkers, dogs, horses, road conditions and traffic, like other cyclists, I want my effort to count! Even if I’m on the Wattbike, I’m not letting the bike do the work, I’m putting in the effort and it should be recognised. 

I would like to be able to delete activities I will never do (e.g. kitesurfing, badminton, crossfit, etc.) and I would also like to put the activities I do regularly in an order of my choice. Are other people interested in being able to do the same?

I realize that ice hockey isn’t mappable inside a rink but even so, I’d like to differentiate the hockey games I play from the recreational outdoor ice skating I enjoy. Please make Ice Hockey an activity option.

I'm using weight lifting mode and feel this is too much. I'm not using this app for work planner so I don't this new feature. So please make it back or let us put just muscle targets without put our workout list... 

Currently the maximum age group is 75 or older.I am now 81 soon to be 82 and I find myself competing with 75 year-olds - no fair!Please create a new / additional permanent age group of 80 and older.The current 75 and older group should become 75 to 79.Thank you!

I have an IPhone 13, not sure if that’s the issue but i was able to login perfectly fine on my grandmas phone. But on my phone nothing would work, the app would take longer than expected to load and when i got a code sent to my email and i copied said code, nothing would happen. i couldn’t login or anything. 

My active challenges page used to have all of the challenges I was currently doing along with the ones I had completed. They used to show the progress on each one that I could see all at once on one page. Today I logged in to see that that page has completely changed. It just takes me to the challenges or club pages which are largely useless to me. I enjoyed seeing how I was progressing on challenges relative to each other. It’s really a bummer if the page has permanently changed to what it is now because it’s redundant and unhelpful. Maybe it’s a glitch in mine but it’s very disappointing. 

Idk if this has anything to do with the fact I barely have any storage left on my phone, but whenever I run and record it on my phone, the stats won’t show on the locked screen when I tap it. Don’t really know when this started, but before it was there and now I have to actually unlock the phone while running and view everything in the app itself. Is there a solution for this?

After the last map planner update (a week or two ago) it becomes a total mess:Heatmap is barely visible now (global and personal lines are too thin) The biggest issue is, elevation contour lines basically disappeared with 3D shading as well. The map has become unclear and resembles a dumb blind map. Another issue is that 3rd party plugin Map Switcher is not longer working.Any ideas which map planner should I use after these horrible updates? Thank you.

I added a b post 2 day ago about the broken route creator only to find it deleted today? Hello Strava you drank the a-hole aid or what? Users taking their time to report bugs and all you do is delete their post? Come on wtf?

I did a ride today and Strava had a bit of a malfunction so it routed me to another part of the ride, so I missed off c30miles of the route I needed to ride. I know where I went wrong, so if I went back and started riding, and then asked Strava to Ride to Route, would this work?IE starting the ride ½ way through and not at the start!I really need to do these 30miles, but don’t have my laptop.thanks

Why it is not possible to add elevation gain during a treadmill workout?I can add this information on my suunto but loss it after the synchronization to strava. Even with an manual activity this field is not available 

Why is igpsport blocked on the “Syncing through Device Software” page
