Currently there isn’t a suitable category for eFoil activities. eBike would be suitable (and shouldn’t clash with existing eBike athletes, one would hope), however it doesn’t make sense from an eFoil community perspective (locations, courses, waves). “Surf activity” is the most obvious next choice, but this causes PR / CR issues with human powered surf craft (and a fair amount of angst & frustration from the Surf community - understandably so too).  thank you in advance for your consideration / response. 

Good afternoon!I am attaching the email that we sent to Strava's technical support.This morning we started a cycling activity from Albacete city. You can check both the towns we passed through and the watts my partner was generating at all times (I don't have a power meter). Due to the storm "Oriana" currently hitting Spain, we experienced wind gusts of more than 40 km/h. Sometimes these gusts were against us, forcing us to go at less than 10 km/h, as you can see in sections between the towns of "El Pozuelo" and "San Pedro," and at other times, they were completely favorable, as was the case for the segment between "Lezuza" and "Barrax." We are attaching in the ticket we are going to submit to your "technical support" the screenshots from the "Windy" app showing the wind gusts in the area of the segment at the time the new record was set. In addition, we can attach the photos and videos we took during the route so that you can see the models of the two

Given the nature of cycling clubs, and their *yearly* membership schedules, it is a no brainer to expand the current week-based leaderboard to monthly / quarterly and yearly time periods. Clubs measure such periods themselves ,,, they shouldn’t have to given all the Premium Strava subscriptions their members invest in.  --JGC, Minneapolis

My Strava route was accidentally cut off completely, can it be restored? 

Hallo, On 15/02/26 i run the PR bij runnerslab opening 10km.Strava says that's er a problem is with the visibility for the distance.But i run the 10km visible.My question is why is it not visible, you see the run on my account ( Angelo krick  ) and everything is visible. Can you help my with this problem? Thanks for the support  Angelo krick

Activities from Garmin are not syncronized

Ik ben in het segment de warmste loop vuur emoties 9 km (2022) normaal in de top 10. Ik had daar gelopen samen met mijn vriend. Hij staat er wel in. Ik dacht dat het misschien even zou duren maar nu is het toch wel al te lang. Zouden jullie dit kunnen nakijken?

I have tried all the methods mentioned online to see the step count after walks but still they are not showing. I am using strava on Android. I have given all app permissions required. But when i try to activate the sensor i am not able to find where is sensor. I open record but there is no option as settings where i can activate the sensor. Help me resolve this. Upto fews days ago i was seeing steps then suddenly it stopped showing step count.

Hello,I accidentally duplicated my account for this email (I do not know how, I wanted to sync it with Health app and clicked on „Log in” tab in the email received straight after the request. Attached you can see the history of my last activities this month comparing to no records of the profile as well as the confirmation of subscription payment back in October 2025 and the screenshot showing the correct account (with subscription, location of „Plock” and much more activities) and the duplicated one with also wrong location of „Pruszkow” Please

I have created a club for Hiking but now would also like to include Walking Activities. It seems it is one or the other, unless I pick “multisport”.  I have read about sport groupings but cannot see them here.  Thank you Robert 

Hi Strava Team,I’ve been wondering for a while now why it’s still not possible to add padel as an activity type on Strava, especially now in 2026.Padel has grown massively around the world and continues to attract more and more players every year. It has become one of the most popular and fastest-growing sports, and many people actively use Strava to track their sports activities. Because of this, it feels like a natural fit for the platform.At the moment, padel players have to select alternative activity types, which doesn’t accurately reflect the sport. It would be great to have padel available as its own category, so we can properly track sessions, monitor progress, and share activities with others in the community.Could you please share if there’s a specific reason why padel hasn’t been added yet? And would it be possible to bring this request to the attention of the development team again? I’m sure many users would appreciate this ad

I, as I’m sure many others on here, make my own training plans. Part of the fun of training for me is experimenting with what works and what doesn’t. I’ve tried many different methods for creating my training plans for the future and have settled on creating them in a spreadsheet and adding details for each block as I get there. It would be really convenient if there was a way to create and view custom plans in Strava. I’m imagining something similar to the training log but that is forward looking. This would allow me to more easily create my training plans and analyze my data all in one place and would eliminate the need to use a third party app like Google Sheets, Excel, or TrainingPeaks. I’m sure this could also be integrated with Runna for a more seamless experience for those using that app and maybe would open the door for coaches to plan activities for their athletes like you can in other apps. It could also be set up to notify me of what I have planned for the day the way the

It would be good if Strava displayed a weekly average pace across all runs in a simple, obvious way.

Any solution to this so far? It’s set to everyone, and not muted for my feed...

It would be great to have the option that an activity visibility (e.g. “Followers only”) expires after certain times and becomes “Only you” visibility. Otherwise any follower is able to scroll through activities years back, which is slightly concerning. Thank you for your consideration!

​Hi Strava Team,​In 2026, it is quite frustrating that "Default Gear" is still a static setting. I own two bikes (e.g., Colnago V4Rs Di 12v and BMC Slr01 Di2 11v) then two distinct IDs (Shifters).​My proposal is simple on my opinion: Allow users to associate specific Sensor IDs (ANT+/BLE) to specific bikes in their Gear list.​Currently, Strava ignores the sensor metadata in the uploaded files and simply applies the "Default Bike". If Strava could recognize that a ride was recorded with "Sensor ID: 12345", it should automatically assign that ride to the bike associated with that sensor.So the Gear commutation would be automatic at activity upload start. ​Best regards,Antonio

Hi! I'd like to know how to add vertical to treadmill run afterwards? If I run on a treadmill for example 10 km and 500 m vertical, Polar does not collect the vertical data from treadmill and so it won't be transferred to Strava. So, can I fix it to Strava to that treadmill run? That way I could add it to yearly vertical meters. Thanks for answers! 

I currently file all of my group runs and Parkruns under "workout" because there doesn't seem to be a better tag for them.We currently have; Race, For a Cause, Long Run, Workout, Recovery, Commute, With Pet, With KidI feel like adding two more for Run Club and for Parkrun would be way more regularly used, at least around the groups I know, than things like For a Cause and Recovery at the very least. Additionally, one for Intervals, maybe?Thoughts? Do others here even use the tags? I find they're useful, and maybe not for everyone, but feels like a small edit so people don't have to use the current tags for things that don't actually fit the run.

Strava está péssimo. Não consigo terminar uma atividade de forma correta. Linhas retas, quilômetros a menos, termino inesperado...

Why isn’t a race option a default tag for most events? I’m specifically hoping for one for backcountry skiing, as we have a robust Skimo community in my area with weekly races and a statewide Skimo series. I don’t think skimo needs its own activity type, but being able to tag a backcountry skiing activity as a race would be clutch!

The slider to filter route distances on the My Routes web page only goes from 0-50mi. I’d like this to be a lot bigger like 0-200mi. That would allow me to filter routes of larger distances like 50-60mi, 60-70mi, etc.Currently the 0-50mi option allows me to select “50-50mi” which then actually displays everything >= 50mi. For me, that’s almost all my routes and they range from 50mi to about 120mi. So its really not giving me much control to search for which route distances I want that are over 50mi.

Balance 2 pool swimming to Strava issueI swim several time with my balance 2 sync to Strava. Find out the execise moving time is the same as total time and the pace /100m would be worng and bad shown on Strava. In Zepp the pace is 2"40In strava is 3" 17I have upload data attach picture of Strava manytimes and still the same. I am curious if anyone have the same problem or just me.
