When importing an IFIT workout from my Nordictrack treadmill, no elevation stats show up.  When imported into other programs, such as RUNNA and Training Peaks, the elevation does show.  Why is this data not showing in Strava?

Began using Strava for gym workouts. I’m using a Wahoo Tickr HRM connected to the app (IOS). My height and weight are in the app. At the end of my workouts, I see time, AVG HR and Max HR. Does it not also calculate calories burned? If so, what am I missing? Thank you. Mike

As a former road bike enthusiast, I’m not against road cyclists — far from it. I used to be one. But my body shape and back just couldn’t handle the crouched-over position anymore, so I moved to an e-bike.Since I started recording, I’ve ridden well over 22,000 km  — more than 3,000 miles just in the past few months — and lost over 50 kg along the way. My e-bike weighs 45 kg, so it’s far from a “free ride.” Every kilometer takes effort, commitment, and persistence. The motor only assists; it doesn’t pedal for me. This journey has been truly life-changing, and I’m proud of it.Lately, though, I’ve felt a real sense of exclusion. Strava appears to be using AI to retroactively mark rides as “e-bike rides,” which removes segment eligibility and, in a sense, erases a part of my cycling history. Both supported by Apple & GoogleFit, Strava should map these sport types appropriately (instead of generic workout).

So as recently as December, I could share a ride from Zwift or from a road ride as a photo with a data overlay. Now you, can't do this. You can get a transparent data overlay that you can PS onto a photo yourself, but that is the long way around question that already had a solution. Why did Strava take this away?  

Hello, it seems garmin gpsmap h1 is not known by strava at thé moment (élévation is not taken from the device and no mention of the gps unit, contrary to all my others unit). Is it planned ?Thanks for your answer.

Durante la registrazione di un allenamento compaiono segmenti che snaturano il percorso reale modificandone di molto la percorrenza reale ed il tracciato.....su un anello di circa 3 km a piedi alla fine mi ha tracciato si l' anello ma aggiungendo una serie di segmenti per un percorso totale di 14 km....Ho cancellato cache poi i dati poi ho provato a reinstallarla senza risultati. Il sistema operativo e' Android 15 sempre aggiornato regolarmente . In oltre 2 anni di utilizzo e' la prima volta che mi succede . Grazie 

My Fitbit refuses to send heart rate data to Strava. I can see the heart rate data in the fitbit app but it will not come through to Strava. Any suggestions? I’ve checked the settings on the fitbit app and HR data is allowed to go through.

My opinion:  There are some poor UI choices in the updated Activity viewing interface on the Android app (February 2025 update).  This is the interface you see when you click on an activity in your feed.1) Half the screen, upon clicking, is Strava’s terrible default map (and not the map chosen by the user, e.g. “Dirt”, etc).  Photos should be the key attraction.  Photos are what make people click an activity.  The new interface hides the most interesting feature and it replaces with Strava's WORST POSSIBLE MAP OPTION (my opinion).   This “default map”, which takes up half the page, should either be updated or killed.  It shows ALMOST NOTHING USEFUL.  No town names, no surface types (dirt vs pavement), no scale bars or mileage markers to indicate distance.  It's just a route shape with little meaningful context -- and takes up half the screen in this view. Clicking the map...  Gives almost nothing extra.  You get town names, but no other useful co

I’ve seen a lot of people recently start sharing their activity data after a run/ride to their socials with alternative transparent overlays.  I have the option of the one that gives distance/pace/time and the orange line map, but I’m seeing people use various others which I don’t seem to have?I’m a subscriber, on iOS app and have the latest version I think.  Any help is appreciated.

All of a sudden, strava.com/dashboard will not load completely when the Roboform add-on for Firefox is enabled. I have used both of these for years without any issues.  I’ve submitted issue tickets to both Strava and Roboform -- all to no avail.    

I’ve been training consistently for a couple of years now. Over the last few months, my Relative Efforts have decreased significantly, even though I am training at about the same level, both in terms of duration and intensity of workouts in any given week. As an example, long runs in January/February were about RE 90, whereas now in July they are RE 40-50 at a similar pace and heart rate on the same routes. At the same time, my Fitness score is steadily decreasing. From 75 in early March, it’s decreased week on week to 35 today. Again, I am training at about the same level as I always have. Last week, for example, I did hard intervals, strength & conditioning and a couple of long runs. My training is varied and no week looks exactly the same as another. In the middle of this “decline”, I got significant 5k and 10k personal bests in May/June, after achieving a half marathon best in March. Has anyone encountered this lately? Is there a known delay or a specific setting I might have missed?Thanks for the help!

I record as Workout on my garmin and then set to Nordic Ski on strava. It never shows up on my heatmap on the phone, and Nordic Ski is missing from the list of sports to select, but on the website I can choose “all sports” and then I can see the activity on there. How can I fix this issue on my phone? Other activities that I have recorded as Workout and then changed on strava is showing up on my phone, this problem only happens with nordic ski.

I created a challenge for some friends and I. For some reason, I cannot select Trail Run as one of the sports to count to words mileage in the challenge. Is this a bug?  

After the last update, the lap button disappeared. Does anyone have the same problem?
