Strava messaging is awful: Unavailable on the web, and no email notifications?

I primarily use the browser version on a desktop computer, and I am used to the disparity between features on the desktop and mobile apps, but it is RIDICULOUS that private messaging isn’t available in the web version TWO YEARS AFTER IT WAS INTRODUCED!

Furthermore, the list of absurdly dumb spammy things that have email notifications (“Some random person gave you kudos!”) doesn’t include messages, so I don’t even know when people have messaged me.

I just disabled messaging so people won’t think I am ignoring them.

I strongly suggest you either fix this half-baked feature or disable it.

We other users can’t help you with this, you would have to make a feature request for it.

Thanks.  I didn’t know there was a feature request option!
