In the last few days, when I start a Strava Watch activity on my Apple Watch Ultra, the activity does not actually start unless I keep the watch app up and going in the watch face for the full 3-2-1 countdown.  This has led to missed miles and time and is irritating new behavior; I usually notice it has happened only when Apple Workout asks me if I want to start something some time in.Anyone else seeing this/know how to change it back to the way it used to work? 

My workouts on my 2025 Nordic Track iFIT treadmill always sync to my iFIT app and my Apple Fitness app, but half the time they will not upload to Strava. I have restarted both apps. I have deleted both apps and redownloaded both apps. Both apps are updated to the most recent version. I have un-synced the apps and reconnected them to my profiles and again allowed for sharing. It is beyond frustrating how many bugs and lack of fixes there are. The “help” from Strava says to Manually save each workout file in iFIT online, have it email you a file. Next download the file, unzip the file so it’s the proper format. Finally, open Strava online (not in app) and find where you can manually upload the file, find the file you unzipped and upload. Unfortunately, you get all this way and see that it only provides basic stats. This is not a solution in my opinion. I am a Strava Subscriber, not using free Strava. I am an iFIT Member, not using free version.  Please fix this Strava!

Dear Strava,  I know when I have completed an activity, I don’t need a notification for every activity, please turn these spam notifications off. 

Hundreds of thousands play ice hockey around the world and some percentage of them use Strava. I’m one of them. This should be added. Not having it available as a sport is, frankly, quite embarrassing. And given the attitude that I’ve seen in the official response, quite anit-customer friendly. Please reconsider as those of us who use Strava and play ice hockey, just want the ability to choose this as our sport. Instead of “Ice Skating”. Sheesh. 

I can’t find “Instant Workouts” on the Android App or website. Where are they lurking?  It says they’re supposed to show on the top of the home page feed.  I’m a subscriber.  App is up to date.  

Completed the Virtual NYRR Resolution Run 5K this morning and it seems there are now multiple things broken and not working that had previously worked in the past. The leaderboard is currently being sorted by the total distance ran instead of the pace done for the challenge. So someone who did a 10k run at 12:00/mile is ranked higher than someone who ran 5k in 15:00. Secondly the summary page that shows you completed the challenge is just taking stats from your first run that is over 5k, regardless of whether the run that is counting towards your challenge. (Thankfully it seems like something is actually still working because if you filter to your followers you can see it links to the correct run.) Finally your position on the overall leaderboard is nonsensical and shows a position greater than the number of people signed up for the challenge. For context I’ve been doing the NYRR virtual challenges for nearly 9 years through Strava and I can’t remember things ever being this messed up.

Strava is giving wrong information every time. It is Big Fraud and I am very surprised and disappointed that how the running groups believe in this Fraud App. mifit App is far better than Strava. Very bad App and I am using it because the groups are using this App only otherwise I can uninstall it. Nobody is responding and correcting it. I have posted in social media and Twitter also. Very Bad. 

When i do an activity on strava it does not sync on samsung health. It does from Samsung health to strava, but never the other way.Is there a fix for this? Or is this by design?

Is it possible to disable everything goal related? It seems incessant lately. I signed up and pay for an app to record my activities. I couldn't care less about the screen wasting goal suggesting and constant artificial validation.

I have a Reflex Active 54. The time on the watch and the time on the app are identical and correct. However when I upload to Strava the distance shown and the map is correct but my moving time, and obviously pace is incorrect. I have tried it numerous times and on different runs but still the same issue. Have I missed something please assist

My Stats on Strava are lame.  In the web browser view, Strava does not offer the option to show combined stats for all TYPES of activities. The only option Strava makes available are statistics each year by activity type, so Hike, Run, Swim or Bike individually.If a user wants correct statistics, we need to to manually input and calculate totals across all activity types that we are recording. There needs to be the ability for the user to combine types to get accurate readings by year and by all time.

I just got approved for full access to the Strava API and I am excited to begin a pilot of the app I am working on.I’d love to connect with anyone else that has experience working with the API at scale. So far the test API integration is going well. Now to test it at scale. Just need to find a couple of shops to partner with for a pilot and roll from there. Stay tuned! :)

When i use my samsung galaxy watch 7 for riding i haven't been able to do manual laps is there any setting that can enable a button for manual laps ?

When I start the Android app, wait for the GPS to be found (Green status), presse the start button and then put the screen to sleep with the power button, the activité is well recorded.But if the GPS is not found or weak when I press de start button and then the power button, the activité is not recorded until I wake the screen, which is often when I finish the activity (happens mostly when I am commuting because of the topography).Its happens more since the latest update of the recording interface, a few weeks ago. 

This has just happened to me too many times. It’s a huge disappointment.It goes like this: I stand next to my car and start Strava, it seems fine. I put my phone back into my Camelback or jacket or whatever I’ll be transporting the phone with. As far as I’m concerned, Strava starting recording my activity. It was showing the timer and speed.I pull my pack/garment out of the car and put it on and begin my activity. Today it was a mountain bike ride. I am TRAINING. I want this data! I finish my workout and there is Strava with a little warning dialog saying “Weak GPS signal. Do you still want to record your activity?”DOH! I just finished!!! And I’ve got NOTHING.Pardon me, but this has happened several times in the past 2 weeks. I just renewed my subscription too, because I’m training for a race. Not helpful! And no way for me to know as I left the car that Strava had given up because my phone was in the car for less than a minute.I want a setting in the app that overrides this stupidity.

Love Strava, so thanks for the work you do.There’s a really annoying bug which I’ve been aware of for months now:On the profile (when using the web app), in the weekly mileage section with the header “Activities for 9 Jun 2025 - 15 Jun 2025,” where it shows the weekly mileage in a sort of bar chart, the bar chart doesn’t update if you run on Sunday. It only updates on the Monday. Annoys me (and I’m sure others), because it’s nice to end a week of training and be able to see that you’ve hit your weekly mileage target.Thanks,Chris

Hello,Since upgrading to Strava Premium, activities imported from Polar Flow no longer include heart rate data.Polar indicates that Strava has not authorized heart rate processing, but there is no health data consent option available in my account (neither app nor web).Could you please reset or re-enable heart rate / health data consent on my account?

Hi, sorry if this topic allready has been coverd, then please send me an link =)I made a new garmin coach program for an endurance cyckling event over 4 day. The event is in 18 weeks and i have 4 training days each week, how can i implemnet/ transfer this into my strava traning program?

Can we add an option to leave groups you no longer wish to belong to. 

Hi, the latest updates of the iOS app have some added automation which seems to try to be helpful, but, please, how can I disable that? 😬First - making a screenshot of activity details triggers a sharing screen (where you can save an image of the map or the activity photo with stats). I understand it might make sense in some use cases, but if I'm taking a screenshot of the splits, elevation graph or pretty much anything in the activity details, I really do not want the sharing screen to pop up and hide the details that I want to capture. Second - once opening a newly imported activity, a "quick edit" dialogue pops up immediately prompting to rename the activity etc. But it's too simplified and doesn't include all the options (such as: shoes), so I always just close it and open the actual Edit mode. The "quick edit" is just a distracting and frustrating step. If anything needs to be automated this way, then perhaps why not opening the newly imported activity in the Edit mod

Had a look at the new instant workouts but the intervals / tempo and other runs suggest a pace if ~ 2:30 per kilometer. My current best effort is 3:23/km. Why are these target paces so far away of what I could possibly achieve? I have over 900 running activities on Strava spread over 2 years+ of running. Should Strava not base the suggested paces on my previous experience. Happy to put a bit of effort in but what Is suggested is not realistic. Am I missing something?

My Fitness and Freshness graph is missing my exercise data from August to December 2025.  As a result, the graph shows a declining fitness score and no activities between August 9/25 and January 3/26.  As a result, the Fitness score dropped to “0”.  All of the exercise data is present elsewhere on Strava (e.g. My Activites, Dashboard, etc.).  I checked Help and it suggested that I go to My Profile on the website and to Restore Data.  I have down this a couple of times, but it does not correct the error.  How do I get the Fitness graph to reflect this data and to provide a more accurate Fitness score?
