I had a Strava account that I previously had linked to my NYRR account.For some reason when I got a new Garmin and set it up, I created a new Strava account through my Apple ID, which is different than the old account I had.I did not realize I had 2 separate accounts until this week when I went to see why I wasn’t receiving credit for the NYRR Resolution Run.I can see the NYRR Resolution Run as a challenge on my old Strava account, however I unlinked my NYRR from that account, and re-linked it to my new Strava account, where I do not see the Resolution Run as a challenge. When I search for the NYRR Resolution Run through my new Strava account, it asks me to re-register, which I don’t feel like I should have to do since I’ve already re-linked my NYRR account to my new Strava account. I’ve reached out to Strava support and NYRR support, NYRR pointed me to Strava, who provided me with a generic response to check out the articles on their support page. Does anyone know what I can do to get

How do you remove the 3D map as the default map and make the 2D Map the default map. The 3D map does not give the perspective 

At the time of setting up my api application, I added 1 in Number of athletes allowed to connect and Number of athletes currently connected. How can I change this. As I am trying to use the app its giving me error - Error 401: Limit of connected athletes exceeded.

Up until recently, when I shared a run, the image with stats would retain its aspect ratio. This seems to be no longer the case (in the last week).For example, here is my latest run, ready to share; However, when I post or even save the image, it is cropped to the portrait aspect ratio. This has only happened recently, as I have been sharing in the same way every time. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I have my Fitbit and Strava accounts linked, so runs, walks, hikes, and bike rides that I record with my Fitbit (Versa 4) are automatically synced to Strava.There are other activities with GPS tracks though that do not appear to sync.Specific examples include alpine skiing and ice skating.Currently I can download the *.tcx file for an exercise from the Fitbit app and then upload it manually on the Strava webpage.Is there a setting or configuration I am missing that would allow this to automatically sync? If this is not currently supported, can the Fitbit-to-Strava sync described here (Fitbit and Strava) be extended to include all exercises with a GPS track?I asked this same question on the Fitbit community forum (Versa 4 Sync all the workouts with Strava) and they indicated that they cannot address the issue from their end, so I am trying on the Strava side now.

Last year the activity display for social media was looking like this :   And now we can have that instead : Way less detail and not really showing anything except stats..That’s just really a downgrade.. come on you guys can do better at Strava’s !

On the mobile app, under Progress there is a recap of the last calendar month. I’m curious if there is a way to get the recap for months older than that.I hadn’t noticed that you could download them until May 2022 and I’d like to have all 12 months of possible.Any help would be appreciated!

As Strava has been working to expand the Fatmap engine to web, I want to make this post to point out the things it does decently, mostly misses the mark on, and really needs to do better at. I use Firefox on a Windows machine to inform my experience. I’m using an activity from a friend as examples and the opinions may not apply to other sports since cycling is my main type.Activity Overview: Map window should still be resizable. You cannot scroll to zoom while hovering over a photo (scrolls the whole page). Ideally the photo is exactly where you want to zoom into. Geolocated photos should be toggleable. Playback of flyover should also have a playhead on the elevation graph. Flyover should hide the user photos or at least not obscure the line. Perhaps a pointy teardrop shape and staggered z-axis elevation to lift them from the plane? “Create Route” button should still say “save route” instead, unclear as-is Mousing over the line should reflect the location on the elevation p

Ive noticed recently that on my list of activities on the Android app and the site on PC that my ski and snowboard elevation data has either disappeared completely or been wildly inaccurate if the data was recorded with a garmin watch, however any of the data recorded with the app on my phone hasn't been affected.Strangely enough once I click into the activity on the app the correct elevation is still present (see attached image). Has anyone experienced this/is there a known fix?Watches used were a garmin vivoactive 4 and garmin instinct 2x 

Hi everyone, I have had Huawei GT6Pro for couple of months now. When I go a walk I leave my Samsung phone at home and after workout it syncs with Strava when I get back home. I had no issues.For some reason the 180 Minute Sweat and the walk 100K steps challenges is not showing progress but all the other challenges are. I contacted Strava support and got some links for help, But cant figure it out, The only thing I can think of is, Do I need to take the phone with Me to count the steps through the Strava app?

I couldn’t find this question (but maybe I’m a bad searcher).  I have an app that uses my API key which works great.  Athletes can use the app and it works great.  I’m in the process of building a separate app, but notice that to setup the API it seems to only let me have one app.  I’ve looked through most of the documentation, and it doesn’t specify that I can’t create multiple apps...but I don’t want to break any ToS gothcas.  So if I have a mapping app, and a streak\data app, can I use the same API connection?  Do I need to setup a different type of profile?  Do I need to setup an additional athlete profile (that seems weird...)

Ever since the update a few weeks ago with the new fonts and stuff, when I try to look at the map it just flashes randomly making it very difficult to zoom in or move around or see anything. This only happens in the Maps page, not the Record page. I never had an issue before this. UPDATE FROM STRAVA: Thanks for posting about this and sorry for the trouble. Our Team is aware of these issues and is currently investigating. We don’t currently have an estimated time of resolution and we ask for your patience while we look into this.

My old activities from garmin didn't sync to Strava when i connected garmin but new activities get synced to Strava

Happy New Year, All.  As far back as 12/21/25, I identified all of my recent outdoor rides (with a power meter) are reporting in Strava (app & web) as 146w--identical on all of them.  My wahoo computer/Xert/TrainingPeaks/Wahoo app, etc. all report the same figures as the wahoo computer.Does anyone else have this issue? Does anyone know how to resolve it?Thanks!

In the last few weeks all my group activities do not display the With other riders. It just suddenly disappeared. Yesterday I rode with 12 riders, and most of them are on Strava and I follow/they follow.  but none of them show. I have deep dived into my settings and cannot see what the issue is. most frustrating.Also, I used to get AI generated ride summaries , and in recent months they also disappeared.

After uploading rides from Zwift strava does not seem to recognize that as an activity. It shows up as a 0 on my relative effort as well as in overall fitness. Does anybody know why this could be happening? well as the

I know this topic has been discussed before but why on earth you won’t allow your own links?! I am trying to publish a post on Strava Tax in the club that I run, sharing your own article. Your system even removes that! You can easily add a link safety check and not blindly block all links, including your own. Clearly, a strava.com URL should be safe. Usually when running I use my watch and it works without fault but today i did a 5km run using my watch, it didnt register on the app tho. Now I lost progress with my back to base challenge. Anybody know how to help

Every time I reply to a discussion with an image, I get a message stating a moderator must approve. My replies never get approved. Anyone else have this same issue? I'm simply posting screenshots of the Strava app to share information and help others.
