Hi,I’m experiencing the likewise issue as below link and would appreciate guidance. A private road on my property is still routable on Strava, even though it is correctly tagged as access=private in OpenStreetMap. Despite multiple support tickets, the issue has been repeatedly closed without comment, and routing continues to direct users through my property. This has resulted in repeated trespassing. My question to the community (or Strava moderators) is:Is there any way to request a routing geofence or routing block for private property when OSM is already correct, but Strava routing still allows it?Any advice from others who have dealt with similar situations would be appreciated. 

I don’t subscribe to Strava.It used to be that when I clicked on a mile this would be highlighted on the map. When I moved the cursor along the speed/elevation profile a dot would appear at the appropriate point on the map.None of this happens now. It looks as though my map is just a static picture.Have Strava taken this feature away for non-subscribers?I’m using a PC. I’ve tried using Edge and Chrome.

As Strava has been working to expand the Fatmap engine to web, I want to make this post to point out the things it does decently, mostly misses the mark on, and really needs to do better at. I use Firefox on a Windows machine to inform my experience. I’m using an activity from a friend as examples and the opinions may not apply to other sports since cycling is my main type.Activity Overview: Map window should still be resizable. You cannot scroll to zoom while hovering over a photo (scrolls the whole page). Ideally the photo is exactly where you want to zoom into. Geolocated photos should be toggleable. Playback of flyover should also have a playhead on the elevation graph. Flyover should hide the user photos or at least not obscure the line. Perhaps a pointy teardrop shape and staggered z-axis elevation to lift them from the plane? “Create Route” button should still say “save route” instead, unclear as-is Mousing over the line should reflect the location on the elevation p

When editing an activity from the listing (https://www.strava.com/athlete/training), ticking the checkbox “Commute” does not work.Furthermore, this works from the android app, but taking the same activity from the web and saving it again removes the tag

Some of us train for mountain races on treadmills and stair steppers. It turns out there is no way to enter elevation gain as a part of a manual activity, at least not in my Android Strava app. Can this please be fixed? 

This is my fitness in the last 3 months according to Strava as I am training for an upcoming 100 miler. In reality this couldn't be any further from truth. My aerobic fitness went up significantly. I handle heat much better than 3 months ago, and I recover quickly from long training runs.What Strava calls fitness is highly misleading. This should be called something like acute training load as this gives a lot of emphasis on time spent in high intensity. But that isn't fitness as people who end up training too hard (at too high intensity) all the time tend to plateau. This doesn't encourage to train smart and only works to reflect noob gains for people who have just started exercising. Also consider the fact that the biggest gains in "fitness" on this graph are from finishing races. But again that is false. Running a long distance race in fact suppresses fitness for a few weeks as the body needs to recover from a higher than usual stress. 

Hi All,Am I the only one who cannot save the map setting about heatmaps?It stopped working some time ago.When I open the maps, I can turn on the heatmaps layer; it works as usual, but only until I temporarily switch to another application or just turn off and on the screen.I haven't found any workaround yet, unfortunately.

I just got a new phone, and after installing the Strava app, I noticed that any time I try to view an activity (either mine or someone I follow) the app crashes. It also crashed if I try to tap on the Maps or Record features. I can navigate the rest of the app features like Groups, If I go to the “You” feature I can also navigate within the Progress option plus I can scroll down my list of activities but just can’t open any.It has been uploading activities from Zwift and my Wahoo Element IRL rides without issue.I had a Pixel 6a before and now a Pixel 8 Pro. Same Android OS version/build on both phones and settings for the Strava app are all the same too.I have done the usual troubleshooting like clear app storage/cache and also uninstalled/reinstalled the app too.Not sure if it’s a specific feature of the Pixel 8 Pro causing the issues that my 6a did not have but it’s very frustrating.Thanks for any suggestions offered!

I have a few questions about the following rate limits:Overall Rate Limits: 600 requests every 15 minutes, 6,000 dailyRead Rate Limits: 300 requests every 15 minutes, 3,000 dailyDoes the read limit apply when polling the API to check whether an activity upload has finished processing via the uploads/{uploadId} endpoint? Does the read limit apply when checking to see if an activity is still uploaded, again using the uploads/{uploadId} endpoint? We're doing this to ensure that we can deeplink users to activities that still exist in Strava Is it possible to increase this limit?Thank you!

Why there is still not padel activity but pickleball yes??There is like 30 milions players all around world and still not activity…. 

How do you assign shoes to a bike?I have selected Cycling as my default sport but when I try to add shoes to a bike I do not get a choice of bike only Running  , walking etc. sports.

I made a new segment but I am the only person showing up on the leaderboard. when this first happened I tried deleting it and make it again, that didn’t help. after waiting for a few hours nothing changed except people who have ridden that segment today showed up. Why aren’t the rides by people in the past showing up and how do i fix it?

There are lots of sport types that have been marked as “NOT CURRENTLY PLANNED” under Ideas:Activities: Link Sport Type: LinkThese have thousands of votes and I believe some of these are low hanging fruits. Not talking about exotic sports like diving chess or ulak tartysh, but rather something very popular across the globe, like volleyball, basketball, rugby (we already have a soccer) or padel (there are racquet sports already).Would be also nice to reconsider some extra fancy sport types in order to make bigger fun factor for the site, like horse riding, scuba diving, martial arts, or even free flying. These sports are side-sports (or even main) to many and would significantly raise the social / fun factor of the site. You may also skip the calculations (like kcal burned) if it’s too difficult, just make an icon and dropdown option :)

Apologies if that has been responded somewhere already but couldn’t see any recent post and want to believe there is a fix for this.In short, the 1km auto-laps from my Apple Watch (using native workout app) are not showing correctly on Strava, where some of the laps are way offs (not seconds, like a minute in some instance). I have my Apple Watch in the simplest setting: no auto-pause, not pace range alerts, etc. just the basic 1km lap marker. I obviously sometimes manually pause my watch at red lights, etc. Total distance, average pace and time all match. Just wrong splits. Does this has a fix? I would be shocked if not, which would basically prevent me from using Strava going forward. And hopefully no advice of turning off 1km auto-lap, as this is important feature during my runs.      

Hello, I shared this in another post, but since the owner of that (now marked as solved) thread believes this might be a different issue, I wanted to create a new topic. I use an Apple Watch Ultra and the native Apple Fitness app to record my runs. I sync the activities to the Strava iPhone app. I’m having issues with split paces for runs where there are pauses and resumes during the run. This also affected my PRs — now I have dozens of strange PR values (e.g., 3–4–5s/km!). There are lots of people (including two of my friends) having this issue for a very long time. It’s really strange that it still hasn’t been identified by Strava. If they looked at the strange PRs recorded with Apple Watch, they would definitely notice this. Here’s my typical running scenario where I encounter this problem consistently:• I start a run using the native Fitness app on my Apple Watch Ultra.• I run ~3 km.• I pause the activity on the watch.• I wait or walk for a few minutes.• Then I resume and run anoth

Hi!I have been uploading my rowing to Strava (Android) for a while now, and recently I noticed that when using the ‘Quick Edit’ feature to rename/make changes to these activities, the pace units for the activity - “/500m” for rowing - is changed to be “/km”. However, this is unhelpful as rowing consistently uses the “/500m” to measure splits. This issue isn’t present when using the standard Edit Activity button. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to see if this issue is consistent across other devices/Strava versions, and I don’t know if it has existed since the introduction of the Quick Edit feature or not. Device Data:Strava V339.16 (12391138)Android Version BP22.250124.010 (Baklava)Pixel 6  

In many groups, I came to notice some posts that seem to be AI generated from new user accounts. They look inofensive, but I don’t get the point of them and there seem to be no category to report them. They’re not spam, not dangerous, not harassment, not hateful, not misleading, selling nothing, etc.. Since they have no activities (or sometimes a tiny one), they’re not building social capital, selling coaching, farming kudos. I hate the pop up that asks "do you want to share this activity" when I make a screenshot. This just started happening a day ago. When try to make a screenshot a pop up appears and prevents me from doing screenshots normally. It stops me from doing what I want with a screenshot and using my phone's features. I don’t want the canned Strava sharing images. Anyone else have this problem?

Training is not shown in Progress dashboard, but is actually recorded and shown in the goals breakdown 

Both in iOS app and on web, when I complete an activity and go to the Map view and enable the personal heat map, the most recent activity doesn’t show up until I TOGGLE the “show private activities” setting for the Personal Heatmap layer. If it was off I have to turn it on, if it was on I have to turn it off. This is notwithstanding that the activities I am recording are public and this setting shouldn’t affect it, and that disabling “Show private activities” should never cause activities to appear on the heatmap. Just toggling the heatmap on and off doesn’t show it. Switching the map on and off doesn’t show it. Only toggling the “show private activities” option will immediately show the most recent activity on the personal heat map. If I toggle it back to the old setting it disappears. The personal heatmap is the main thing that’s kept me subscribed to Strava so it’s frustrating to still find it glitchy when there are free alternatives available.As an additional detail, these activiti

As mentioned in the title - Roller rides recorded as Indoor ride via Wahoo elemnt roam do not take into account breaks distorting the average speed, neither auto-pause nor manual pause are taken into account when the workout is synced with the strava. thus distorting average speed a lot
