Today, 30 minutes into a 50K ride I found that my Beacon connection had been cancelled and I had to restart the ride as it had stopped recording too. My Wife relies on my Beacon connection to see where I am and she was concerned that I’d had some sort of accident.I was unable to log in from the App again without gaining access from a code sent to my home Email account which I can’t easilly access from my phone. After this I could start another ride but despite sending the Beacon SMS to my wife several times it didnt show any progress and appeared to be waiting for me to move. I had started the ride as usual through the Strava App in my iPhone and have had no problems in all the years I’ve been using it. I did wonder if this was some sort of hack occuring as Ive had no notification of any impending changes to logging in and I should also add that a friend has had a similar experience.

I have a Motorola G24 phone, & it has never run Strava reliably. Unless I keep the screen activated, the GPS data stops, resulting in straight lines on the final log.I have disabled every battery saver / background activity restriction function I can find.It appears to me that Strava is running but the GPS stops. As the GPS isn't an app, I can't find any options that might prevent it from running.Looking like I'll just have to buy another new phone...

When I try to create a new route on my PC, once I click ‘Create Route’, all I can see is the Heat Map, there is no underlying map below it. i.e. if I de-select the Heat Map the work area to create a route is blank. I don’t have this problem with my phone using the APP.If I bring up an existing saved route, the underlying map is visible, however if I click ‘edit’ I can see the route that has been created on top of the heat map but no underlying map.I am using Windows 11 and normally use Google Chrome but have also tried Microsoft EdgeI see others appear to be having recent problems with saving routes but I can’t can’t get that far.Any thoughts on why I have this issue would be greatly appreciated 

Ran my second half marathon and forgot to start my Strava until I was about a half mile in, is there any way to input my time from an official website?

I have been using Strava on Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic since several weeks. All went fine and my activities while training were shown on Now Bar (like e.g. Samsung Health or YouTube).About a week ago, my on-going Strava activities stopped to be shown on Now Bar. As a result, while training, I need to go to Strava App on my Watch, tap it and only after I see my current data on Strava.How can I fix it? I checked million times all of the permissions and reinstalled the app several times.

Hello everyone, I’m trying to upload or attach a photo to an activity through my own application — or alternatively link an external image, if Strava supports embedding images from external sources.The goal is to achieve something similar to what Zwift or Rouvy activities display: a main workout image that visually represents the completed session.I’ve checked the public API documentation, but I haven’t found a clear description of how to upload an image directly to an existing activity (not as a user photo and not via the standard /uploads endpoint). Before I continue experimenting, I’d like to know whether Strava currently supports this for third‑party developers, and if so, which endpoint or workflow should be used.Any guidance, examples, or official references would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I set my web app up, with only one user. Read online found out had to submit documentation. I just did that. Was just wondering if there’s still support available for things like this bc no one has posted anything here for 2 years 😅 here’s hoping 

Is there a new & current existing problem with streaks not updating?  I've been stuck on a 19-day streak for multiple days now.  Strava AI doesn't update the streak even though I do multiple activities a day and all are uploaded.  I logged out of the app and shut down and restarted my iPhone and it updated an activity the same day afterwards to a 20-day streak but the next day I was back down to a 19-day streak.

Anyone else got an issue where their age has changed automatically..? It’s not letting me correct it on both the mobile and web app. Contacted support and was expecting prompt reply being a subscriber. HR will not display until it’s fixed.

Recently, I've been exploring the capabilities of the Strava API and wondering if it's currently possible to upload media files, such as images or videos, to an activity using its ID. I haven't been able to find any specific information or documentation regarding this capability in the Strava API. I was wondering maybe it's possible even if it's not documented as its the case for getting pictures of an activity [https://www.strava.com/api/v3/activities/{id}/photos?size=X]. That's why I'm turning to the Strava community and API developers for insights. If any of you have experience with the Strava API or know whether it's currently possible to upload media files to activities using their ID (or something else), I would greatly appreciate your input. you should put the function that you can move an indicator on the status graphic and you can see that exact point on the map, while moving the point of interest in the stats graphic, you see the exact point in which you had those stats

Has anyone experienced submitted the athlete limit increase form and not hearing definite answer about your application? How can I disable the " your activity from 1year ago"  in my feed. Very annoying !

As a cyclist and runner, I personally have encountered unexpected unsafe infrastructure on routes such as bike lanes or road shoulders abruptly ending and dumping me into car traffic or other hazards such as surface changes or construction detours/closures and know that this is a common issue for other cyclists and runners as well. It would be helpful to have a feature in maps to be able to add hazard warnings for other users similar to Waze or Google Maps to be able to see when making and taking routes. Passing on safety beta to each other is a great way to strengthen the Strava athlete user community and keep each other safer. It would also be great if there was a way to include car traffic speed limits on the maps as well so that users can sort and or filter route making by how fast the car traffic is approximately traveling and can better avoid higher speed (more unsafe for cyclists and runners or walkers) streets in favor of safer lower speed routes. It would be nice both if you could customize the default sports on the watch face, and also reorder the long list of different sport types so you cand find your usual ones faster :).

I use the Strava app on my apple watch ultra. Has worked fine in the past. On recent regular outdoor runs, the app suddenly activates the lap function mid run. If I want an open run for the duration, how do I stop the app from suddenly engaging a lap at random times. it also usually only lasts a few minutes but when the run is over, I have multiple laps recorded but didn’t intend on this.

Hello i’m not a Dev, I’m just a user iwas wondering how the personal records work in a run. My doubt is that for example if i run a 16km run where the first 3 km are warm up, then 10 km i push the hardest, then 3 km cool down. If the first 10km (3km warm up + 7km of the pushing part) of the run are already my PR on strava will it register as that? or is it smart and will consider the 10km fastest of the run
