I hate the pop up that asks "do you want to share this activity" when I make a screenshot. This just started happening a day ago. When try to make a screenshot a pop up appears and prevents me from doing screenshots normally. It stops me from doing what I want with a screenshot and using my phone's features. I don’t want the canned Strava sharing images. Anyone else have this problem?
May I kindly ask if there is a mechanism to request permission for connecting more than 1,000 athletes? Previously, I submitted a request and was approved for a connection limit of 999 athletes. I was able to “like” comments under my posts, but when I tried later I got the message, “Something is wrong, please try later.”I also noticed that after I give Kudos and refresh my app, those kudos have disappeared.I can still comment on posts, but I can’t like any responses.I’ve logged out, reinstalled, etc.
We successfully created a webhook subscription using our development site (dev.xxxx.com), but we have been unsuccessful subscribing using our production site after we switched the app’s Authorization Callback Domain to production (xxxx.com).When we view the app’s subscriptions, it returns empty.Attempting to create a new subscription from production returns “GET to callback URL does not return 200” which many people have reported here.However, even though we have not changed our Authorization Callback Domain back to dev.xxxx.com, we can still create a subscription from development even though the app settings on the Strava website shows the production url as the callback domain.It seems like the initial URL we created a subscription with is still the one being used for some reason even though the production $callback_url is what we send to Strava..Has anyone else had this issue before? Perhaps there is another place where the URL needs to be updated that I am overlooking?
Why can't I create segments shorter than 500 meters for cycling and shorter than 300 meters for running, even though I have a subscription, when I've seen shorter segments on Strava?For example this running segment is only 280 meters long: https://www.strava.com/segments/19339033

I’m getting political club info in my feed (cycle for this politician or that one) and I’d really like an option to block these. I like Strava for data and motivation, not more hate-messaging. There’s enough of that in every other app.
When I start the Android app, wait for the GPS to be found (Green status), presse the start button and then put the screen to sleep with the power button, the activité is well recorded.But if the GPS is not found or weak when I press de start button and then the power button, the activité is not recorded until I wake the screen, which is often when I finish the activity (happens mostly when I am commuting because of the topography).Its happens more since the latest update of the recording interface, a few weeks ago.
It would be helpful to have the ability to rename routes directly from the My Routes list page.
I know it is a small thing but it is one of those things that is quite annoying about Strava. You know that situation when you finish a run and notice that it is very close to a round number of miles, than you run a bit further to make it e. g. 5 miles. Then it uploads to Strava and shows as 4.99 miles in some parts of the app and 4.9 miles in other parts of the app (e. g. the training calendar). Can Strava stop doing that?
I had an active streak of 59 weeks. I have uploaded an activity - but the streak did not change to active (having the flame turn to orange).In this support article I read that every activity during a week (starting Monday, ending Sunday) should count towards the streak. I can confirm that all of my activities have been 60 seconds or longer. Hi!I have been uploading my rowing to Strava (Android) for a while now, and recently I noticed that when using the ‘Quick Edit’ feature to rename/make changes to these activities, the pace units for the activity - “/500m” for rowing - is changed to be “/km”. However, this is unhelpful as rowing consistently uses the “/500m” to measure splits. This issue isn’t present when using the standard Edit Activity button. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to see if this issue is consistent across other devices/Strava versions, and I don’t know if it has existed since the introduction of the Quick Edit feature or not. Hi All and Strava I know there used to be an association between Strava and parkrun. But regardless of the reason for that ending parkrun is a great force for good and encourages people to exercise. My feature request is to have a runtype category of 'parkrun' much like there is one for 'race'
Why is there no Open Water Swimming filter?You can sort by selecting Swim, and click the indoor swimming box, but that just excluded ows. Also if you sort (or filter by sport) your activities and select one there is no way to return to your sorted list. Thus you’ll have to re-sort / re-filter every time.
I am trying to add a URL that can be clicked/tapped to my bio. The URL link will show in the bio, but it doesn't show as a hyperlink that can be tapped. I'm confused because Strava has said that links are supported again, but I've tried multiple ways and nothing works. Any help here? Thanks.

When using the recalculate distance it messes everything up before it. Ran a marathon today where I lost gps a few times shows 26.06 .. when I recalculate it shows 26.30 which makes sense because I started my watch a bit back from the start. But when it recalculates it changes all of my previous pr’s from 100m to 10k to 1second and the half marathon and beyond are off now too. I reverted so it’s fine now but are there other ways to change this?
Question: is there a limit to the kudos that you can give? Per hour, per day, etc? I was scrolling my feed and was giving kudos and at some point I wasn't able to.
My opinion: There are some poor UI choices in the updated Activity viewing interface on the Android app (February 2025 update). This is the interface you see when you click on an activity in your feed.1) Half the screen, upon clicking, is Strava’s terrible default map (and not the map chosen by the user, e.g. “Dirt”, etc). Photos should be the key attraction. Photos are what make people click an activity. The new interface hides the most interesting feature and it replaces with Strava's WORST POSSIBLE MAP OPTION (my opinion). This “default map”, which takes up half the page, should either be updated or killed. It shows ALMOST NOTHING USEFUL. No town names, no surface types (dirt vs pavement), no scale bars or mileage markers to indicate distance. It's just a route shape with little meaningful context -- and takes up half the screen in this view. Clicking the map... Gives almost nothing extra. You get town names, but no other useful context. Since about a year, when navigating to the Maps section of the app (on Android), the default view is with “Routes” selected. I only used the Maps to check my saved routes, so every single time I have to disable the list of routes proposed (which are terrible suggestions in my opinion, by the way) which becomes very annoying when trying to follow a route, since the app constantly also reset the view after a few minutes, so that I need to open the saved route again. Can the app at least remember the choice of “Map only” view for the next time I open the Maps tab?Also, when loading a saved route, the default view is 3D, so every time I have to change it back to 2D (after having to wait for the camera to do its movements) since the 3D maps are completely unreadable. Can the app also remember this preference? Or better, can there be an option to completely disable the 3D map view everywhere in the app? That would be fantastic.
