New in Strava is the trainings advise. Can I export it (like a route) to my Garmin edge?

Today I’m unable to add events because “Starting Location” is not accepting addresses.

Hi team, just trying to understand more about a couple of things. 1) We publish some routes as a trailbuilding club. Using the GPX file is mostly fine however, some routes present some kind of distortion from the original path riden. The Strava website seems to be using the heat map algorithim. Instead of highlighting  some single track bits, switch backs, etc, the map shows the path over some back roads or just more riden paths. 2) to fix that I tried using the editing tool which also turns out to be not allowing me to pull the dots and correct back to the riden path. Any idea would be nice. Thanks!

Hi, the latest updates of the iOS app have some added automation which seems to try to be helpful, but, please, how can I disable that? 😬First - making a screenshot of activity details triggers a sharing screen (where you can save an image of the map or the activity photo with stats). I understand it might make sense in some use cases, but if I'm taking a screenshot of the splits, elevation graph or pretty much anything in the activity details, I really do not want the sharing screen to pop up and hide the details that I want to capture. Second - once opening a newly imported activity, a "quick edit" dialogue pops up immediately prompting to rename the activity etc. But it's too simplified and doesn't include all the options (such as: shoes), so I always just close it and open the actual Edit mode. The "quick edit" is just a distracting and frustrating step. If anything needs to be automated this way, then perhaps

I’m wondering why my follower and following lists are no longer in alphabetical order?

Hi, I have a "goal" set to do 90mins of "Workout" activities per week. I just set this goal but I noticed that the activity that I logged as a "workout" is not contributing the my goal of 90 mins. You can see the activity and the goal progress in the pics below.Am I doing something wrong?  

At the last couple of track sessions I’ve been to, Strava has only been recording about half of my run. The time continues, so it records the whole time I’m running, but only about half the distance (so it ends up saying I was twice as slow as usual). I’ve been to track sessions for months with no problems, and obviously knew what kind of distance I cover so this is very unusual to happen twice in a row.  Has anyone else experienced this and know of any changes in settings etc. I can make to overcome it? in the last month or so it can take up to at least an hour to sync my walk from my Apple Watch and now I am experiencing this with Rouvy.Has something changed with Strava or are there issues?

I don't use Strava and there was a technical issue with the payment app that was not intentional, and it has been paid.With a total of 609390IDR . I applied for my refund so I have high hopes of getting my money back 

I don’t subscribe to Strava.It used to be that when I clicked on a mile this would be highlighted on the map. When I moved the cursor along the speed/elevation profile a dot would appear at the appropriate point on the map.None of this happens now. It looks as though my map is just a static picture.Have Strava taken this feature away for non-subscribers?I’m using a PC. I’ve tried using Edge and Chrome.

Hi - my recently bought Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 has issues finding the GPS when I open it pre-run.I've tried resetting the watch completely, giving all permissions to the Strava app, rebooting, clearing the cache, force stop etc, but go through periods of 'error preparing exercise, please try again' on the GPS fix screen when trying to start a run.Sometimes it does work, then other times not despite locations not varying. Not sure if this is a hardware issue but checking to see if others have the same issue...

There is a local segment that is 5 laps of a 1.3 mile loop. People generally ride this loop for hours. Today, I completed the loop 19 times with two 20 min efforts and soft pedaling in-between. The first lap is always easy to make sure the loop is clear of obstructions, the laps don’t start at the beginning of the loop, they start when my computer starts. What I’d like is for the segment to be my “best” 5 lap effort. Today, for example, that would have started with my second lap and end at the end of the 6th lap. This would have placed my time significantly higher on the leaderboard than the 3 times that were registered (lap 1-5, 6-10, 11-15). Hopefully that makes sense. Not a huge deal, just curious how that can be handled as the actual leaderboard is likely very off and I didn’t realize that was how the laps were tracked.

This post is intended to clarify a recurring explanation in this forum that elevation issues with Apple Watch are “Apple’s fault”. I am using an Apple Watch Ultra 3, which records elevation using a barometric altimeter. When I log in the dashboard, activity feed is just completely blank. I've tried clearing cache, cookies, logging out and in and even tried another browser and it's the same, the page just doesn't load (see screenshot). It's been like this for a week now and is becoming quite frustrating, i basically can't use Strava now I’ve then been to try to submit a support request, and the support request system is also not working properly for me, so now I have no idea what to do or who to contact (does anybody from Strava monitor these posts?)

Hello. I am going to start training soon for my first half marathon. I aim to run for 4 mins and walk for a minute. Does anyone know of any ladies watches in either the UK or Ireland who can repeatedly vibrate every 4 mins and every minute throughout the race? Thanks 😄 

Ive noticed recently that on my list of activities on the Android app and the site on PC that my ski and snowboard elevation data has either disappeared completely or been wildly inaccurate if the data was recorded with a garmin watch, however any of the data recorded with the app on my phone hasn't been affected.Strangely enough once I click into the activity on the app the correct elevation is still present (see attached image). Has anyone experienced this/is there a known fix?Watches used were a garmin vivoactive 4 and garmin instinct 2x

Hi everyone. My wife is a big time runner - Boston Qualified this year! She’s a stud. I’m not much of a runner at all but thought I could show her some love this Valentine’s by running a Stava course that says “I (heart shape) Alyssa” - hopefully she doesn’t see this post. Anyone have any suggestions how to create that in the North Orange County, CA area? I’m not great with developing the map. I’m trying to keep it in the 10K range so I don’t completely kill myself. I appreciate the help anyone can provide. Thank you.

Hi all  I ran a 10k this morning but I had to stop due to heavy wind and rain burst, Strava took my elapsed time instead of moving time so I missed out on pr. Can that be changed ? 

Hi everyone, I’m looking for clarification about segment leaderboard behavior. On January 31, 2026, I completed a cycling segment.The effort is correctly recorded:- visible in “My Results”- correct time, speed, power and HR- activity privacy is set to Public- no pauses or GPS issues However, my effort does NOT appear in the “Today” leaderboard,while other athletes from the same day do appear. This happened during a group activity, but:- in the past, my segment efforts often appeared in leaderboards even during group rides- recently, this seems to happen more frequently- the effort is recorded but silently excluded, with no explanation I’ve seen several discussions about improving leaderboard accuracy and filtering group efforts.Has there been a recent change in how group rides are handled for segment leaderboards? Is there any offi

my partner was creating a strava account with her google account and we went through all the regular steps to create it. we set privacy controls and set up the profile and followed our friends and connected with Garmin. after a few minutes, we could not log back into the strava account both through the app or the website and we can’t see the profile anymore. how can this account be reactivated?

I wish I could track both my running shoes and my custom insoles as separate gear for mileage. I may switch my insoles to other running shoes, so the mileage will never equate to a single show gear milage. The current menu item is radio buttons so you can only select a single gear on a run.
