to the developers of Strava: I have been using strava daily for 7 years. I have never been inspired to complain, but after the change to display heart rate data as a bar chart as “percentage time in zone” rather than a pie chart with actual time spent in zone, I need to speak up. It is not helpful to know I spent “20% of a given ride at Z2” --what would be helpful is the TIME spent in Zone 2. I often do work outs of different lengths, and for example, “10 minutes” is a lot easier to think about than “20%”.  Bar charts are not an intuitive way of summarizing data that relate to a “whole”, aka like a pie chart is. PLEASE PLEASE go back to displaying heart rate data as a pie chart with actual time spent in zone. I don’t use any other workout soft ware (not training peaks, etc) and I don’t want to have to start now. 

Group stats is great and I love the leaderboard by this week and last week. Would it be possible to show previous weeks and also by month and year?

I’d love the option to add music to my Strava post/activity! It’d be cool if Strava could connect with Spotify/Apple Music and you could select a song to your post similar to Instagram stories. Would definitely be a fun option!

There are new activities in strava, some of them not so familiar, but one of the sports more popular is not in strava... Judo, karate jiujitsu, and so on... Could be added as martial arts.

Hi, please add nordic ski to main stats table! As here in the nordic countries it is as important as the runing and cyceling is!!!The best would be if those main stats could be configurable eg as if I don't swim so I don't want to show and see it there as I care about skiing more ;)

As winter hibernation comes to an end it would be nice to see how my times are improving as my activity increases, to aid this it would be great if you could see your seasons best time alongside your PR for a segment over the course of the year from Jan to December (or another 12 month period in other regions).Can’t believe no one has suggested this before or perhaps they have and i cant find it - in which case apologies if it has already been discounted.

AI capabilities can be used for implementing calculation of adequate segment results for athletes shortcutting segments

I don’t think if this concern fits in here, but I’ll give it a try. I hope you guys can help me and I'm sure there are also a lot of other guys with this concern.I am a paying subscriber in Strava for a long time now since they implemented it during COVID times. Recently, this notification keeps on popping up on my RIDE activities. All of my activities have no fluctuations with speed or GPS error, my pace is not really suspicious at all because I'm not that fast.As a subscriber, this is VERY INCONVENIENT!I think the Strava's auto detect system has some kind of bug or mistake in its program for this to happen.For sure THERE ARE A LOT who experience this also whether from run or ride activities, please share your thoughts and let's hope some guys working with Strava sees this and have a solution for this.The notif message has this text: “The Activity may be in a vehicle, marked the wrong sport type, or had bad GPS

Currently, segment leaderboards on Strava award KOM/QOM only for the fastest overall effort. While this works well for top performers, many athletes—particularly older users—have little realistic chance of competing for the overall title.A useful improvement would be to introduce age-group KOM/QOM accolades alongside the existing overall KOM/QOM. I have reconnected, connected, reconnecte, redownloaded the apps between Strava and Garmin. I removed my apple watch from my phone and I still can’t get my activity to show on Strava. 

Currently, the map style in the Strava Route Builder is very minimalistic, making it difficult to distinguish between different road types (e.g., major highways vs. quiet side roads) at a glance.My goal is to explore new areas and intentionally ride on roads where my Personal Heatmap is still empty. However, without a clear visual hierarchy of road sizes, similar to the styling found on Komoot or standard OpenStreetMap, it is hard to plan safe and enjoyable routes. I often find myself accidentally routing onto busy main roads because they look identical to small backroads on the map.I would love to see improved map contrasts or a "Street" layer that clearly differentiates road categories by line thickness or color. This would make the Route Builder much more powerful for explorers.

After uploading run results and selecting it in “My Activities”, selecting “Laps” from the “Overview” causes the web page to not respond, with options to wait or exit.It eventually works after returning to “My Activities” and revisiting the page (in Edge browser on PC). All other options work ok - just laps is the problem. This problem is a recent development (since your latest update - did you add flyover previews to free version and add arrows to route?).

Now when shuttling or going to the bike park for mountain biking, the downhill trails/segments are no longer included in the trail times.  Though you’re clearly going fast uphill, their coding has created a problem for the downhill trails.  Importantly, though I know of multiple people asking for a “Shuttle MTB” function, they have yet to add it.

I often use this widget for quickly starting a ride and also traking but after an update, it seems to have broken…(I use a pixel 7a)It used to be a 3x2 and not 3x1 

I know where I ran, the time I started and the time I finished. I'd like to be able to have a map in my activity. When my smart band has problems recording my actitivity I'm either stuck with wrong ou incomplete info or I have the right info and no map.It would also be great if strava had more options to lightely edit activities: merge, divide, correct time stamp. It's inconvenient to rely on 3rd party apps for those.

The heart rate data from my Garmin watch does not show on my strava activities. I have over 130 activities and non of them have ever shown the heart rate data. Neither on my now Garmin watch or my Samsung watch before. I have looked online and through the app and can't find anyway to resolve it.

While looking at a segment I rode last week, I discovered that a friend of mine is faster than me, at least based on the people I follow.Now, neither of us are lightweights and both fall into the "115 kg and heavier" category.And, if I look at this category/list, we're both in the top 10, but then I'm the fastest, not him.My speed is 34.7 km/h in both categories. If I look at his speed, it's 37.3 km/h in the "I follow" category and 34.4 km/h in the weight category.These are also two different activities for him.How can he have two different PRs on the exact same segment?  

Hello, recently I noticed something changed with my mobile app. When I go for rides I like to explore, so I will search for segments I would like to ride before my ride. I usually open the segment I want to ride to see where it is located and then I would see a blue live dot that would display my location. This way I can check where to go to get closer to the segment starting point. I don't use the map feature for this because most of the time the segment won't even show since I am mainly interested in downhill segments. Also, the maps feature does not work when there is no good signal, so the live segment locator dot would still work when there is no signal. On my last ride I had a hard time seeing where I was in relation to the beginning and ending of the segment and got a bit lost in the middle of nowhere so I find this change unsafe. Is this feature gone for good or is there something I can do to see where I am as I get closer to the segment even when there is no signal?

just turn off Athlete Intelligence by accidental and really need to turn it on.

Does Strava have plans to upgrade any other sporting activities to the same level as running swimming and biking? We walkers and boaters would love equal access to our statistics. Thank you for considering. 

I want to create a route for a Run that involves some trail running sections that are not mapped but show up on the heat map.  When I go to create map the heat map disappears.  Why is this?  Why does a heatmap need to be sport specific.  Most Trails are multi use and there doesn’t seem to be an option to show all heatmap information combined with the ability to create route.  It would be even better if you could create a route to follow the heatmap.
