I record my activities on my Samsung Watch 7 Ultra (WearOS) using the Samsung Fitness WearOS app.  I am able to mark laps in that app.  I see the run correctly partitioned into laps when I view the activity in Samsung Fitness itself, but when I sync to Strava, in the Strava data it just shows the default of “laps” being delineated at 1-mile intervals.

Am I supposed to get the Samsung Fitness laps transferring to Strava during sync, or is lap data not something that is synced?

Ciao @DulacLancelot. Honestly I don't use this feature but reading past threads I found the article below. This mentions laps created on devices and then synced. Try to read it. Starting from there share your experience, maybe someone else could help more.

What you see as 1 mile intervals are so called splits, these are independent on laps. In the Strava app you can see laps in the “Workout analysis”, but this is a subscriber feature. On the Strava website you can see laps in the Laps section of the activity even without being a subscriber. If laps are not to be found there then the laps were not synced.
