Is this Magene HRM compatible with Strava. And, if anybody can say, is it compatible with Rouvy too? Thanks

Hello @halfmanhalfwit
Thank you for your post. Before getting started, please be sure that you’ve enabled Bluetooth functionality on your mobile device. Once you have enabled Bluetooth, please follow these instructions:

  1. Open the Strava mobile application and select Record from the bottom navigation bar.

  2. On the record screen, select the heart rate icon along the bottom row of icons.

  3. Wake your Bluetooth heart rate monitor (please follow the recording device manufacturer’s manual if you are unable to wake your device) so it may be discovered in the list of recording devices.

  4. Select your heart rate monitor from the list of available devices. Once connected, your heart rate will be displayed live on the record screen.

Nice try but stick to your pronouns. I KNOW how to pair an HRM. I was asking if a brand was compatible before I paid for it. You either didn't read properly or didn't read at all.

Hi @halfmanhalfwit
As long as the device broadcasts as a heart rate monitor for Bluetooth connections, it should be discoverable when you open the heart rate screen. However, due to the vast number of Bluetooth heart rate monitor devices, we cannot guarantee the effectiveness of each device.

You can refer to this link for more information on pairing sensors with the Strava app.
