Hello,

When reading several topics on watts shown on strava vs in garmin connect, I can see now how you can detect if power meter is used or not in Strava data. Now when checking power data ( average over complete ride ) this is slightly different compared to garmin. Does it mean Strava makes it own calculation? And if so why does Strava makes it own calculation when data is available via Garmin Connect.

There can be two reasons for a difference. One is that Strava always includes 0 Watt values when moving whereas in Garmin that depends on your settings. Two is that Strava decides for itself if you are moving or not and that can lead to including 0 Watt values when actually you were standing still and to exclude greater than 0 Watt values even if you were actually moving.

Hi,
For the same activity, Strava mobile and Strava web show different average power.

On the mobile app → the value is wrong (zeros included or miscalculated).

On the web version → the value is correct, same as Garmin Connect.

This is very frustrating for a Premium subscriber, since training data should be consistent across platforms.
Can you please confirm if this is a mobile app display bug and if a fix is plan

@agard  I cannot reproduce that. Could you post screenshots were the differences can be seen?
