I have the same problem today.
I have the same problem today as well.
My Samsung Health Account had disconnected from Strava, I tried to connect, but without success. To open watch.samsung.strava.com lead to the same error as reported.
Help me please :(( I need sync it today.
Same issue here. I guess it is a Strava issue, not an individual issue for the user. Let's see tomorrow...
Thanks for sharing your experience, good that I wasn't only me.
Ok, lets hope it works better tomorrow and that Strava automate it's regression testing a bit better in the future. (Or hardening their network topology a bit better if it was caused by a DDOS attack)
Hahahahaha. You are in IT as well? Hahahahaha.
Let's see tomorrow for the User Acceptance Test result.
I'm having the same issue. I was trying to resolve some sync problems and activity recording issues by uninstalling and reinstalling the apps on my Samsung Galaxy Watch and on my phone. Trying to reconnect my watch to Strava has resulted in the same Internal server error as you've had.
Very frustrating.
Phew, I thought I was the only one. I had a really good run yesterday and found out it won't sync. So disappointing.
End of Maintainance for Samsung Watches, or elder ones like my Gear S3 Classic? As Samsung Watches is not inbound in the Strava setting the webpage might be Samsung hosted. Don't know if our comments here change anything, but still our records via Samsung are missing on Strava, and this might change our decision to continue either with Samsung devices or Strava recording if it continues.
Confirmed same issue. Samsung Galaxy Active2 watch. Tried restarting both devices, reinstalling on both devices. No solution yet.
Same for me. After completing my run yday I was annoyed it wouldnt sync from my samsung watch. I tried reinstalling the app and stumbled on the same "internal server error" issue.
Same issue with Galaxy Active 2, had a good cycling day and it wouldnt sync, finally reinstalled only to get this internal server error page! disappointed!
I have the same problem with the Active 2. Same error
I am having the same issue too! Lets hope my run is still saved after reinstalling the app on my watch..
I've had a reply from Strava Support after I created a ticked.
They say they are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.
In the meantime, you can record your activities on Samsung Health via your watch. You just have to log onto your Samsung Health app on your phone and link to strava via Settings and then Services.
It will automatically upload any GPS activities to Strava. Any non-GPS activities, such as workouts can be shared with Strava manually.
The GPS activities on Samsung Health seem to sync far better with Strava via my watch than the Strava Watch app ever did.
I have the same problem, trying to connect Strava app to my Samsung Galaxy Watch3. I get asked to type a four digit code, supposed to be viewed on watch.samsung.strava.com, but I also get the message "internal server error""
I have the same issue, how will we be made aware when resolved? As i have got to entre the 4 digit code and thats it?
Bit of a pain as i am training for London 2024 Marathin and also while in training doing chariry runs, where i have to submit KM's and Times Etc
thats a good workaround, will try that today, thanks
Same issue. Frustrating as this is not solved by Strava by many a days.. need to think about switching to other apps.
are you stoping strava support on samsung galaxy?
Same issue. I've deleted apps, uninstalled, rebooted, just short of throwing watch in the bin...
Any reply here from IT?
