Deauthorizing athletes without access token
Now that Strava’s new Developer Program has introduced a limit on the number of athletes who can register with an app, we can see the number of "athletes currently connected" in our API settings. I can see that the number in the API settings (Strava side) is higher than the number of athletes using my app. I seem to remember (maybe incorrectly) that there was a time when apps did not have access to the deauthorization endpoint, so I (and maybe others) would simply delete the athlete account on the app side and ignore the incoming webhooks for those athletes. The net result is that some devs will now want to deauthorize 'stale' athletes, but they no longer have the access tokens required by the endpoint. Now that a limit is being put on the number of connected athletes per app, will there be an opportunity for devs to deauthorize athletes without access token? Otherwise some apps will be hitting their athlete limit much sooner than they should...

Strava pauses and does not resume if you tale photos
50km ride with only 11k logged I stopped to take a photo from the lock screen and I forgot that THIS always happens so I lost most of my 50km ride. I’m pissed because I really pushed on to try to test my form in the last 15km and they were just not recorded, I’ve lost LOADS of training rides like this. Can you not fix it? I’m a software developer. Do you need a little help?

How do you keep the screen on using Wear OS ?
I am trying to use the strava app on a pixel watch 2. But the screen goes off after a few seconds on the watch and I have to press the button to show the screen again. Its not really useable like that so is there any way to force the screen to stay on when using the watch app to record ? I already have Always On Display set to On

Getting server error in many parts of the app
Hi, I'm getting a server error in many parts of the app for instance: when trying to upgrade to premium when trying to check the leaderboard when trying to select a route to follow and in many other parts I tried deleting app data and cache, logging out and restarting my phone. I even changed my Internet connection, nothing worked. I'm using a Galaxy S22 Ultra with One UI 6.1 and Android 14

Unable to join family plan
I live in Taiwan but I subscribed family plan in Japan this March since my membership was expired during the trip. When I came back to Taiwan, my friends were not able to join my family plan, system showed that we are in different countries (all of our accounts are based in Taiwan). I’ve submitted a ticket but there’s no response for more than 6 weeks. Anyone knows how to resolved this issue? Will VPN work in this case?

Heart Rate Audio Cues iWatch SE not showing
I’m trying to use strava audio queues from my apple watch SE but I only have pace and distance audio queues in the run options. I gave all permissions regarding heart rate. All my runs have heart rate charts and everything, its just not showing up as an option for audio cues. (Fitness and motion is on and all that). Is there a fix to this? I have a premium subscription as well.

Creating a community for global company iniative
Dear Team, We would like to create a Walking Club for our colleagues worldwide with a free subscription. Can you please give some guidance for the following details: Is there any maximum capacity for a club? e.g. Can 3000 employees join in our Club and compete with each other? Can they join with the free membership? How long will the Club be available with the free membership? After 30 days’ trial period, do they need to pay for the membership or will they remain members of the Club? As an admin/owner of this Club, can we see and pull some reports on the performance for all the participants weekly/monthly basis? Looking forward to your guidance. Thank you for your cooperation! Kind regards, Andrea

why my strava app does not show the map of any activity of mine?
I'm a premium strava user and recently I can see my activity map when I open that activity. I can see the map in my feed but when I open it, map is no available. Also, when I try to see any other user that that day did the same segment, for example, strava app closes and it backs to the feed! Any idea? Thanks

Personal heatmap display error
When you select a specific sport for your heatmap on the maps tab, that carries over to an activity of another sport despite what the label says. The map tab is acting as a master switch. I had my map set to walk activities only: Then opened an athlete's ride which still shows my walking activities while claiming ride: For comparison this is some of my ride heatmap in the area: If a user wants to change which activities' heats are displayed, they have to back all the way out to the main map to change it. It would be ideal if loading activities automatically selected the appropriate heatmap type and I assume this behavior is unintentional.

Elapsed Time Should Be Default for Running
This has been a huge flaw for years. It’s the main thing that kept me from paying for premium, and the thing that’s going to make me cancel it one of these days. “Moving Time” 1) Is worthless because it’s hopelessly inaccurate. When I’m on a trail with big elevation gain it could be off over 50%, and 2) It’s irrelevant. If it took you an hour to do the route because you stopped to tie your shoes and send a text… it still took you an hour. In what world does it matter hour how much time you were actually running vs stopping? If someone wants to know that irrelevant metric, let them search for that. Not make the rest of us who live in the real world have ridiculous times posted that bear no relation to reality. There’s no way it could be that difficult to actually make the correct time the default to display.
