Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to modify the confidentiality of a synchronized activity (for example, the function "hide the activity from my home feed") with my Suunto Race S watch before its final publication.Unless I am mistaken, when I synchronize an activity between my Suunto watch and Strava, the activity is published automatically without me being able to intervene before on certain functionality settings. Tks. Pierre
I live in snowy country and lots of riding being done on Zwift. I would prefer to see just the outdoor activities in my Activity Feed and not Zwift rides. Possible?
What happened with URLs? Looks like URLs are being automatically removed from posts, so it's being a little bit more complicated to share for example Strava Challenges from clubs with friends.
I'm sorry but the "solution" that was posted in the other thread about this issue is not a solution. A solution would be something that brings our activities, posts, comments, etc to the exact same state they were before you removed the URLs.You didn't even answer the big open questions we have regarding what happened. I would like Strava to urgently answer the following questions:(1) Are you filtering URLs merely in the user interface and in the API – or have you actually modified the content stored in your database?(2) If it is the latter case, how are we going to recover our data? What kind of backups do you have? Are you going to restore all the URLs and other removed content from the backups once this "ongoing situation" is over? Can we at least download an intact version of our data for our own use?(3) Why there was zero communication about what is going to happen beforehand? It's clear now that you removed the URLs on purpose. The removal wouldn't have been okay even if you gave
Hello everyone! This is a designated thread where you can share your feedback about the Community Hub itself (features, usability, experience). When posting your feedback in this thread, we encourage you to follow some best practices outlined below. By following these guidelines, we are ensuring that collected feedback is relevant, actionable, and will serve towards improvements of the Community. How Should I Provide the Feedback? Post your feedback with as much information as possible. Check out our Community Guide to Posting as a starting point. The more information you can share, the more actionable and clear your feedback is. I tried installing/uninstalling the app multiple times, logging out and in but the run doesn’t show up on the app. It shows imported from the Health app but somehow doesn’t appear on the Activities page. Please help.
I’ve noticed what I deem to be fake accounts. People join and start adding people that they don’t know. Currently I have this individual trying to add me. She’s not the 1st or the last. I’m thinking there should be a implementation way to screen for real people, even if the information is available to the rest of the community. I suppose the only tool we have at our disposal is just blocking/reporting.Definitely open to any other ideas.
October is here! The season of spring has arrived in parts of the Southern Hemisphere and autumn in parts of the Northern Hemisphere. For those who are new to the Community Hub - Welcome, thank you for stopping by! This space is for all our users to share ideas, discuss features and learn from each other. You can check out this post for a quick guide on getting started. To those of you who have joined over the past 2+ years, thank you for all your contributions to the Hub; it is greatly appreciated. If you're into watching sports, there's a lot to keep up with this month. October marks the time of the year in which 4 major North American professional sports leagues have scheduled games throughout the month. Wondering which sports leagues? The four are: The National Basketball Association (NBA), The National Hockey League (NHL), National Football League (NFL) and Major League Baseball (MLB). If you’re into challenges, Strava has a number of challenges you can join this
Bug Report - Noticed that one user had a different number of rides listed (6) than showed up on the Leaderboard page (5) … and the summary of the elevation and distance was off by … you guessed it … that one ride. That ride happened to be the third ride (Virtual- Rouvy) of the day for that user. Not the second of three or first of three, but third ride of three. All other attributes of that activity appeared in order, and they were summed properly on that user’s “Training Log” and “progress tab”. Is it possible that only two activities of one type are aggregated?
Hey team, It looks like I accidentally turned off the .Ai analytics feature. Is there a way to switch it back on?
Hi there, nobody in their activity feed can see my uploaded rides anymore? Does anyone know why and how i can fix it? Cheers±
Almost all my rides are marked as ‘commute’ even during weekends. Even the one that ends at the same location I started. It’s so boring. With the new edit screen that popup every time (where commuting can’t be removed), it’s getting boring to always have to edit the rides.Could we have a location that is marked as ‘office’, so only the one that ends of starts from the office location will be marked.
Can someone at Strava provide an update on when we’ll be able access the 3D backcountry ski mapping capabilities that FATMAP offered through the platform integration? (i.e. slope angle shading and topography details?) This was a critical tool for alpine travel and many are hoping to rely on this for winter activities.
