In December I renewed my annual personal subscription. I’d like to switch to a family subscription, since my kids want to start using Strava.From the Q&A I learned that I need to end my current subscription and wait until it expires before I can switch. Waiting more than eight months sounds rather unappealing.

In January i signed in for Strava membership (plus), one month for free. I dit not work, my account was not activated. I signed out again. Later on, beceause my account was connected with my visa, the money for a melbership was payed to Strava aldo I dit sign out emmidiatly. The extra features of a payed membership still do not work. is it possible to give me my money back or to activate my account on the date of today? I Would like to hear from you soon. 

Hi, I have an old strava account that I would like to get the data from and merge it with my new account.  My old account is annoyingly linked to an email address of a company I no longer work at.  I can still access it however through a facebook login.  When I go to download the data it says it will email a code to my old email address (which I no longer have access to!).  What can I do please!?

New in Strava is the trainings advise. Can I export it (like a route) to my Garmin edge?

Hi team, just trying to understand more about a couple of things. 1) We publish some routes as a trailbuilding club. Using the GPX file is mostly fine however, some routes present some kind of distortion from the original path riden. The Strava website seems to be using the heat map algorithim. Instead of highlighting  some single track bits, switch backs, etc, the map shows the path over some back roads or just more riden paths. 2) to fix that I tried using the editing tool which also turns out to be not allowing me to pull the dots and correct back to the riden path. Any idea would be nice. Thanks!

I don't use Strava and there was a technical issue with the payment app that was not intentional, and it has been paid.With a total of 609390IDR . I applied for my refund so I have high hopes of getting my money back 

Hello. I am going to start training soon for my first half marathon. I aim to run for 4 mins and walk for a minute. Does anyone know of any ladies watches in either the UK or Ireland who can repeatedly vibrate every 4 mins and every minute throughout the race? Thanks 😄

Hi everyone. My wife is a big time runner - Boston Qualified this year! She’s a stud. I’m not much of a runner at all but thought I could show her some love this Valentine’s by running a Stava course that says “I (heart shape) Alyssa” - hopefully she doesn’t see this post. Anyone have any suggestions how to create that in the North Orange County, CA area? I’m not great with developing the map. I’m trying to keep it in the 10K range so I don’t completely kill myself. I appreciate the help anyone can provide. Thank you.

Hi all  I ran a 10k this morning but I had to stop due to heavy wind and rain burst, Strava took my elapsed time instead of moving time so I missed out on pr. Can that be changed ? 

Hi everyone, I’m looking for clarification about segment leaderboard behavior. On January 31, 2026, I completed a cycling segment.The effort is correctly recorded:- visible in “My Results”- correct time, speed, power and HR- activity privacy is set to Public- no pauses or GPS issues However, my effort does NOT appear in the “Today” leaderboard,while other athletes from the same day do appear. This happened during a group activity, but:- in the past, my segment efforts often appeared in leaderboards even during group rides- recently, this seems to happen more frequently- the effort is recorded but silently excluded, with no explanation I’ve seen several discussions about improving leaderboard accuracy and filtering group efforts.Has there been a recent change in how group rides are handled for segment leaderboards? Is there any offi

my partner was creating a strava account with her google account and we went through all the regular steps to create it. we set privacy controls and set up the profile and followed our friends and connected with Garmin. after a few minutes, we could not log back into the strava account both through the app or the website and we can’t see the profile anymore. how can this account be reactivated?

The graph of my walking pace is pretty much useless. How can the pace be so erratic? That certainly not how I’m walking

Just want to whine one more time before this forum changes focus.When I see a pretty obvious scam account post, like the saccharine "cycling is my freedom" or the infamous "son died of cancer, who wants his PS5", I report them as spam, scam, or impersonation. Sometimes Strava even does something about it. But when they respond to the support request, there is no sign of what the support request is referring to. They do allow you so refute their automatic decision with more details, screenshots, etc but without knowing what the report was about, it's kind of moot by design. Maybe Strava can "use technology"  to improve their support request handling and crack down o

This news seems to be circulating on a few major cycling outlets.Just being pedantic I had to go and check some local MTB climb segments ( regular cycling ) which are notorious for being abused by e-bikers.  I found no change. KOM is still an e-biker and the next 20 riders are also.    Has anyone else checked to see if this is real news based on actually delivered results?  

This has probably been posted 1000 times but why when following a route on the mobile app can it not face the direction you are travelling?When cycling I press the button that puts you in the direction you’re going but mine rarely faces forward.

When I attempt to upgrade to the Strava + Runner subscription I get a 'There was an error saving your changes. Please try again.' error after I click 'Confirm and purchase'. I have tried in different browsers (so eliminating cache/cookies) and do not have an active Runna subscription (I deleted a one-week trial last week) or account (deleted the Runna account altogether today).Logged with Strave support Request #3777166Choose a new planThere was an error saving your changes. the activity stats show the pace but when i downloaded the transparent and activity picture, it shows elevation gain instead of running pace. how can i fix this?

Began using Strava for gym workouts. I’m using a Wahoo Tickr HRM connected to the app (IOS). My height and weight are in the app. At the end of my workouts, I see time, AVG HR and Max HR. Does it not also calculate calories burned? If so, what am I missing? Thank you. Mike

As a former road bike enthusiast, I’m not against road cyclists — far from it. I used to be one. But my body shape and back just couldn’t handle the crouched-over position anymore, so I moved to an e-bike.Since I started recording, I’ve ridden well over 22,000 km  — more than 3,000 miles just in the past few months — and lost over 50 kg along the way. My e-bike weighs 45 kg, so it’s far from a “free ride.” Every kilometer takes effort, commitment, and persistence. The motor only assists; it doesn’t pedal for me. This journey has been truly life-changing, and I’m proud of it.Lately, though, I’ve felt a real sense of exclusion. Strava appears to be using AI to retroactively mark rides as “e-bike rides,” which removes segment eligibility and, in a sense, erases a part of my cycling history. So as recently as December, I could share a ride from Zwift or from a road ride as a photo with a data overlay. Now you, can't do this. You can get a transparent data overlay that you can PS onto a photo yourself, but that is the long way around question that already had a solution. Why did Strava take this away?
