When recording a run from the Strava app on my Apple Watch. It is not syncing to the Strava account on my phone. I have tried to restart both my phone and watch, updated all software and even deleted and reinstall the app. Not sure what to do, please help.

On my computer (windows) my Strava page opens & automatically a box showing who gave me kudos pops up but won’t close. It works normally on both my Ipad & apple phone. I’ve signed out & back in, rebooted computer, help Any suggestions of how to fix this would be appreciated.

I can find it if I perform a search in my activities. Others can see this activity only if I send them the link. How to resolve it ?

I live in Taiwan but I subscribed family plan in Japan this March since my membership was expired during the trip. When I came back to Taiwan, my friends were not able to join my family plan, system showed that we are in different countries (all of our accounts are based in Taiwan). I’ve submitted a ticket but there’s no response for more than 6 weeks. Anyone knows how to resolved this issue? Will VPN work in this case?

Hi, I’m trying to activate a monthly subscription, but nothing happens when I hit subscribe. Selecting Annual sends me to confirming subscription just fine, however. Are monthly subscriptions not available? I’m on iOS 18.3.2

Dear Team, We would like to create a Walking Club for our colleagues worldwide with a free subscription. Can you please give some guidance for the following details: Is there any maximum capacity for a club? e.g. Can 3000 employees join in our Club and compete with each other? Can they join with the free membership? How long will the Club be available with the free membership? After 30 days’ trial period, do they need to pay for the membership or will they remain members of the Club? Currently, when I enter Strava via an app notification, I then see a notification badge / counter on the Notification Centre icon. This is actually the same notification that I’ve just clicked into, but it’s not marked as read. Ideally, this notification would be marked as read as I’ve clicked into it. It would stop me having to actively click into the Strava Notification Centre just to mark notifications as read.

My opinion: There are some poor UI choices in the updated Activity viewing interface on the Android app (February 2025 update). This is the interface you see when you click on an activity in your feed. 1) Half the screen, upon clicking, is Strava’s terrible default map (and not the map chosen by the user, e.g. “Dirt”, etc). Photos should be the key attraction. Photos are what make people click an activity. The new interface hides the most interesting feature and it replaces with Strava's WORST POSSIBLE MAP OPTION (my opinion). This “default map”, which takes up half the page, should either be updated or killed. It shows ALMOST NOTHING USEFUL. No town names, no surface types (dirt vs pavement), no scale bars or mileage markers to indicate distance. It's just a route shape with little meaningful context -- and takes up half the screen in this view. Clicking the map... Gives almost nothing extra. You get town names, but no other useful context. For instance, if I chose DIRT as my default map, shouldn't this map show surface type? It seems like an objectively a poor map interface. Anytime anybody tries to show me where they've ridden using Strava, they give up and open another app instead (Google Maps, RidewithGPS, etc). It's almost impossible to find a zoom level that shows the road names that are part of the route, while still being zoomed out enough to show context, among other UI issues. This map doesn’t leverage so many of Strava’s useful mapping/routing features. It seems like a waste. 2) Photos are hidden beyond a tiny little box/button. And clicking that box doesn't take you to the full-screen photos! It gives you a square (i.e. terribly cropped) highlight image. Swiping brings you to the next image, meaning YOU NEVER SEE THE UNCROPPED VERSION OF THE HIGHLIGHT IMAGE! It gets skipped. That's seems like a poor design. 3) When looking at photos in this mode, FIGURE CAPTIONS ARE INVISIBLE. There's not even an indication that there MIGHT be a caption, so you don't know that you should click the photo to see it. Want to see the figure captions? It's like a game of whack-a-mole. Click. Is there a caption? No. Exit from photo (b/c you can't just scroll to the next one). Click the next photo. Is there a caption? No? Exit photo. *If your goal is to remove the utility of photo captions completely, well, congratulations. You did it!* 4) In the "slideshow" of photos, portrait photos are cut off on the edges, but landscape photos are uncropped and letterboxed. Why this inconsistent mix? Just show the entire photo (uncropped) since you are in photo viewing mode. If you are going to crop a photo, give a clear visual indication that it is cropped, so users can choose to click and see the whole thing. But it would be better not to crop the image at all. Exceptions could be made for extreme aspect ratios (e.g., panorama images). Thanks for (hopefully) considering to this feedback!

Can you add a feature to allow members to set up cycling trips with other Strava members

Hi, I’ve noticed that the club leaderboard is no longer displaying, and I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue. Could you let me know if this is a temporary issue or if there’s a way to resolve it?

Strava is giving me a huge headache right now. I cannot change my email, or password on my strava account which is problematic because the email it is attached to was deleted years ago. Everytime I try and enter the password, I either get a message saying that my account has been temporarily suspended, or the password is wrong. Even though I am entering the same password every time. I am getting really frustrated. So I created a new STRAVA account and tried to transfer my data over, but turns out you have to have access to both emails in order to do that. I tried deleting my account, can’t because I don’t have access to that original email address. I just want to either change the email address on my first account I’ve had since 2020 or transfer all the data to my new account that I set up last week. PLEASE HELP!

I was charged to my surprise for a year’s subscription I do not want. I have canceled a subscription I did not sign up for. How do I get my money back for this. I’ve noticed that this happens often to people. Strava might wanna look into why this is happening. Please provide a refund. thanks!

In the mobile app, summits and Points of Interest (POIs) from OpenStreetMap (OSM) can be made visible, but this feature is missing in the web desktop version. The absence of landmarks leaves users without clear reference points when reviewing their recorded activity, making it harder to analyze their tracks. Enabling POIs by default on both platforms would significantly improve usability by providing access to helpful landmarks like summits, mountain huts, caves, waterfalls, bridges, fences, etc., which would greatly benefit the community. In addition, I would like to reference a related question I posted earlier on the topic:

For users who upload ZWIFT data to STRAVA there is an accurate correlation between average heart rate and average power; this existing data within STRAVA could be used to improve the present power calculation that STRAVA uses. STRAVA does not have the ability to compensate for wind velocity , by averaging existing method with STRAVA data the accuracy could be greatly improved without using a power meter.

Hi I need help. Has anyone had this issue and has fixed it?? I did a long run this morning and it imported from my Apple Watch like usual but it’s not showing up. It’s check marked as imported but does not show up in feed or adds to my distance etc.. I don’t know what else to do I feel like I’ve tried everything. Restarting my phone, deleting the app and re installing multiple times, deleting it from my watch and reinstalling, I even tried exporting the file from my Health app to my iCloud and then to Strava website and that didn’t work either.

Other sporters can’t see my total statistics this new year. All the statistics are zero. What is the problem?
