How long does Strava Support usually take to respond to a refund request?

Hi Strava Community, I’d like to share my experience and also ask for your help. On June 15, 2025, I was automatically charged ₱1,500 for a Strava 1-Year Subscription through Google Play, even though I didn’t approve it and haven’t used the app for a while. I had biometric verification (fingerprint) enabled for all purchases, but the payment went through without asking for it. I already emailed Strava Support with the complete details and all required documents. It’s been a while and I haven’t received any response yet. May I ask:How long does it usually take for Strava Support to respond to refund requests? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help or share similar experiences. I’m hoping to get a reply soon.

max heart rate changed automatically and retroactively to an incorrect value

My max heart rate changed in strava automatically and retroactively to an incorrect value.  Shouod be 190, but suddenly one day all my activities going back years show zones based on a max heart rate of 173.i have changed it back to 190, but all my old activities still show zones based on the incorrect value of 173.

Reconsider adding new sport types

There are lots of sport types that have been marked as “NOT CURRENTLY PLANNED” under Ideas:Activities: Link Sport Type: LinkThese have thousands of votes and I believe some of these are low hanging fruits. Not talking about exotic sports like diving chess or ulak tartysh, but rather something very popular across the globe, like volleyball, basketball, rugby (we already have a soccer) or padel (there are racquet sports already).Would be also nice to reconsider some extra fancy sport types in order to make bigger fun factor for the site, like horse riding, scuba diving, martial arts, or even free flying. These sports are side-sports (or even main) to many and would significantly raise the social / fun factor of the site. You may also skip the calculations (like kcal burned) if it’s too difficult, just make an icon and dropdown option :)

restore average power to activity summary

Average power has been replaced with average bpm on cycling activities summaries. The former is more useful. Please could this change be reversed,  thanks.

Strava, can you make the feed more informative?

I am viewing Strava on a tablet with a large resolution screen. One of the people I am following has posted a race. You'd think that for a race, seeing the finish time is probably the most important piece of information. And yet, Strava insists on showings only two activity metrics even though this post takes nearly entire screen of my tablet. When I discussed this topic before, the answer was that the isn't enough space on the screen for more than 2 or 3 metrics, but as you can see that is clearly not true. Can someone from Strava explain why activity metrics are the lowest in priority when it comes to the feed? Below the map, a huge part of the screen is dedicated just to showing the 3 icons - to thumb up, comment, and share. Personally, I don't think I've ever shared someone's activity, and to comment I always open activity details. But I want to see more activity details very often. At a minimum, when it comes to ultra running, the activity time is an achievement on its own. When s

Salve. Durante un attività.  Sicuramente non prendeva bene il gps. Segnando oltre alla velocità sbagliata degli sbagli sulla mappa. In un determinato segmento che mi interessava vedere la traccia e tutta sbagliata  non segnando neanche il tempo. Si può modificare la parte sbagliata dal gps? E recuperare il tempo fatto su quel segmento prendendo il pezzo sbagliato?

Saddles, Split or Straight

So I have the factory saddle that came on my bike when i bought it. It’s getting old, as am I. Lately on long rides, for me that is over 20 miles, I’ve felt sore in tail bone and taint (sorry ladies) area. I usually have to readjust my position on the seat and it reduces it a bit. I have a few questions for experienced riders. Would getting a split saddle help? Would adjusting the seat forward or back help? I’ve been playing with it a bit and raising my seat post and that has stopped my feet from going numb. But with raising the post the seat needs to go forward some.Any advice anyone has or their experience with the same issue is greatly appreciated. I ride a Giant Defy 2 from 2010. It’s a great bike for me. Thank you.

BUG REPORT: Activity text is cutoff when viewed in Mobile App (Android)

Bug report: On the mobile app, I (and others) cannot see the full text of my recent activities.  They are cutoff.  The “read more” option is missing.  It is strange.  If I view my wife’s recent activities from the same days, I see the “read more” link and it works.  If either of us try to view my recent activities, the “read more” option is missing.  The text cannot be read on the mobile app.  Note 1: The full text appears on the website (i.e., no problem with the web interface).Note 2: My older activities have the “read more” link (no bug).  It is only my recent activities in which the full text cannot be read on the mobile app.  Bizarre!

everytime I login or out Strava suggests new ‘friends’. These are random people from all over the world - not my firends. How do I stop Strava from suggesting ?

family plan, husband cant join as I renewed my subscription while traveling and it nows says my country is spain not Canada

I’ve read many of the posts about this problem and the solutions have been that Strava either refunds you your subscription and changes your country or they just change the country to the correct one and the family member can join. I’ve been dealing with Strava support for with this issue for 7 days and they say there is nothing they can do, due to they can’t refund my subscription as it is past their 14 day refund policy. I’ve explained that my husband’s subscription only expired last week, so I wasn’t aware that there would be a problem having him join my family plan. All 3 responses I’ve got  from Strava support no matter how much information I give them, they keep refusing to deal with it due to the 14 day policy. Does anyone have any contact information for a supervisor or ??? that I could try. ( I did ask to be put to a supervisor but was ignored )

For some time now, I don’t see the names of the peaks on the Strava map. Before, there was a small mountain logo with the name and altitude. Do you have the same thing?

Rogue "App" API - LLM

Within the Strava “My Apps” section I have a rogue API that keeps appearing. It is called “a” and leads to a website https://www.aaaaaaaaaa.org/You can see your MyApps at this Strava link:https://www.strava.com/settings/appsI have changed my password and it has reappeared again. This website seems to link to LLM/AI ChatGPT programmers. I keep revoking access and within 1 hour it reappears. They can’t have my new password. For what it’s worth, I’m using a hardened corporate laptop which is definitely not infiltrated on hacked in any way. Is Strava liaising with these people? They do not look legit, sorry. Is this Strava sending data to a company for LLM functions? I cannot believe the amateurish website mentioned above is in any way a professional conduit for LLM data.  Help and thanks!

Fitbit Versa 4 not syncing

Hi, My Fitbit Versa 4 is no longer syncing automatically to Strava after runs. All permissions are on and linked, been like it since start of Jan 2025. The GPS function is also on the watch too. So annoying, was thinking of taking out a subscription too, not gonna happen now! 😂

One Activity missing from Club Feed

So, did a long ride and set a PB for distance (260km). All logged without issue on Strava.The activity appears in my feed, the club feed, the club activities, and every other place bar one. It appears in segment efforts, best, totals etc etc.But it doesnt appear in the Club weekly totals. I am only in one Club and I have been in its for 12+ mnonths and have never lost an activity. I am showing zero km rather than 260km .I have refreshed activity achievements and the activity appears just like all my other activities.Any ideas ?https://www.strava.com/activities/14745385170

stats showing in leaderboards but not activity profile page

Hi, from the start of this year, my full run stats aren't showing in Profile page , I haven't changed my privacy controls from last year However the stats are feeding  into Challenges/Leaderboards, for example completed 100k Jan run challenge but only showing 66k in Profile  Itsa mix of Run and Virtual run

[Known Issue] Default Bicycle (Default Gear)

Recently since the Strava app update around 6/8/2025, whenever I save a ride, my default bicycle is not being used even though when I check my gear it’s set to default bicycle. When I save my ride now it only gives me the option to select a new gear and doesn’t show my default bike and give me the option to select a different saved bike like it did in the past. Anybody know of a fix for this?  Everytime I save a ride now I have to go back in and edit my ride to select my bike. This is very annoying.

Why does my apple watch go to home screen while using Strava?

Why does my apple watch go to home screen while using Strava? Seems to occur while indoors on the treadmill. I start my 5k run then my apple watch returns to home screen and my activity has stopped. I have to open the Strava app again for it to resume. It’s annoying that I’ve lost part of the activity. Auto pause is Off. Can’t rule-out my watch hasn’t glanced the side rails. Any other ideas? Seems to be OK on outdoor runs.Watch is Apple 7.

Apple watch constantly STOPS TRACKING HEARTRATE & closes on its own

The issue IS NOT resolved as Strava attempted to claim 1 month ago on another thread, the same problem exists.This is what I’ve found, the heartrate will be maintained on the watch IF you’re on a setting involving distance, for me a bike ride or walk. If I choose Workout, or indoor ride it continually stops recording my heartrate and often just closes the app and sends me back to my home screen (on watch). Sometimes it NEVER regains the heartrate and I need to close the session and reopen another to get it tracking again. Developers, this shouldn’t be difficult. Do your proper testing, ask the right questions of users who are telling you what’s wrong. I’m seeing very little from Strava in response on this!! Not good enough. I’ve been a paid up member for 5yrs now, this problem has been carrying on now for at least 12 months. What am I paying for exactly?Can I get a refund or are you going to start listening and working with your customers?

[Resolved] Issues with Apple Watch and Strava closing mid-workout

Hi all, Reported this to Strava a couple of weeks ago and had no response… so thought I’d try here. Recently, when I record a Weight Training or Workout activity using my Apple Watch, during the session Strava will close randomly and sometimes restart the timer back to the beginning or at least knock a few minutes off. However, when I save the session, most of the time it records the full session (other times knocks a few minutes off). Anyone else experiencing this issue?  UPDATE FROM STRAVA:Hello all! We’re happy to share that this issue has now been resolved in the latest app update. Strava Lack of Support after a Hacked Account

Sharing my experience with Strava Support… TERRIBLE experience.  I’ve been a user since 2019 and premium since 2020, 5 years of recording thousands of KM in multiple sports. Really enjoyed Strava to see all my data and help me improve - reason why I paid a yearly subscription.  All of a sudden, someone steals my account (no idea how), changed my e-mail and password to his and deletes years of data… I regained access via Facebook but if you want to change the email back to you what happens? You need to provide the hacker’s passowrd - what a surprise!  You would expect, as a PAID user, to have some sort of immediate support, being this urgent and having ALL your personal and payment details in hands of a hacker!  It’s been 5 days, no one replies any ticket. The hacker is sending messages to my friends on Strava threatening to steal their accounts and guess what? Strava doesn’t care.  Now, if I create another ticket for support, it’s immediately flagged as solved… why isn’t my 1st ticket

Selecting multiple shoes in one activity

A good feature to add would be able to select multiple shoes on 1 activity and be able to place a marker on the route of where you changed them as I have my Wu, session and cd on separate activities as I want to track the amount of kms I have done in my shoes. This would allow me to track the kms in multiple of shoes in a session while having 1 single activity.
