Segment efforts not counting toward local legend tally

Hi team, Recently been noticing that my efforts for a few segments have not been updating in the local legend tally.Segments in question:Yokine reserve double loopYokine reserve triple loop For the triple loop I've done at least 6 efforts in the past 90 days, yet the Local legend has 1 to his name. Thanks

Activity feed issues (Desktop): missing, hiding, confusing

After riding today, I looked at my activity feed on my laptop. Seemed OK, I gave some kudos, made a few comments. Then I realized, when I reloaded: any activity I had given kudos or commented seems to have vanished from my feed (including my own activities!) I tried switching back and forth several times between “Latest Activities” and “Personalized,” which seems to make no difference. Nor does logging out, clearing caches, and reloading. Please; can Activity Feed just show recent activities by me and those I follow (with as few silly ads as possible, but I know you need to place them), and not try to get clever. Don’t removed items from feed after I’ve looked at them. Don’t reorder or skip according to what YOU think I want to see. Just show the feed! Thank you.

I no longer see the timestamps of the uploaded media during the activity

Boa tarde,I don’t know when this first started happening, but the media (pictures or videos) I upload during my activities are no longer labelled with the time they were taken. Thinking it might’ve been a thing for my most recent activities, I went back to older ones only to find out that these also don’t have their correspondent timestamp. Not on the mobile app, nor on my PC.I was going through account settings, but couldn’t really find anything useful to bring this feature back. Was this a definite change? Can I get the timestamps back? I do find them interesting, as they give me a better idea of what place I was at at time X.Moitas grazas pola vosa axuda,Yago

How to change emailadress

Hi all,I don't know where to put this question. So, here i go:So i want to buy Strava Premium. I bought for 70 euro's on Google Pay.What is didn't see, that my Google Pay and Strava-mail don't match.Now i got 70 euro's on a different mailadres and no Premium.Can i change the e-mailadres on strava what is connected to Google Pay or am i doomed to make a whole new strava account?

[KNOWN ISSUE] Saved route view on Mobile inaccurate / not corresponding to Edit view

There's an odd discrepancy between the route edit mode and viewing the saved route. (Note - I’m not using routes too much so I might have missed something obvious, just let me know if that's the case - or, if this is already discussed, please point me to the right direction, I haven't found an existing thread.)Steps: downloaded a gpx file prepared by a race organiser (source: here) logged into Strava (web version) > Create route > Import GPX choose route name, select sport type (running), save open the Strava app (iOS mobile app) > Maps > saved routes > open the most recently saved route Expected result: when opening the saved route in the mobile app, the route should correspond to the designed path accurately Actual result: it seems that waypoints are missing or rather ignored, because when I open the route in the mobile app in the Edit mode, it seems correct - as on the attached screenshots: in the Edit mode, the route pretty much sticks to the actual path (heatmap), b

[KNOWN ISSUE] Flashing and Zoomed out Maps on Android

Ever since the update a few weeks ago with the new fonts and stuff, when I try to look at the map it just flashes randomly making it very difficult to zoom in or move around or see anything. This only happens in the Maps page, not the Record page. I never had an issue before this. UPDATE FROM STRAVA: Thanks for posting about this and sorry for the trouble. Our Team is aware of these issues and is currently investigating. We don’t currently have an estimated time of resolution and we ask for your patience while we look into this.

How view Winter Maps? i.e.  the Fatmap topos and winter sports??Hello - in Maps, I click the Sports dropdown and only have Foot Sports and Cycle sports. Where do I add sports, like skiing, please?and where have the winter maps that FatMap had gone??Thanks

Dragging map always inserts endpoint

whenever you’re in edit mode and you drag a map to see another area, it always drops a new waypoint which you then have to delete every time! should be a way of moving the map without creating a waypoint.

what are these weird heatmap anomalies?

I noticed in the global heatmap in new york city, if you set the sports to “all sports” there weird squares all over the place. they are especially prominent if you set it specifically to “all cycle sports” or just “ride” only. they are perfectly north-south oriented, and are 0.25x0.25 miles (or 1 mile in circumference)it does not take much to tell that there are no such routes that exist in the city. so what causes these? I’m also wondering if it’s just on my side..

Cannot flag obviously bad GPS rides (215mph, 91mph, etc)!??

This is driving me nuts. There are several segments in the climbs near me which have KOMs with OBVIOUS bad GPS data; in some cases the entire Top-10 is comprised of rides with bad GPS! I’m talking OBVIOUS bad: Like 215 mph, 91mph, tons of 60-80mph -- up 12% hills! The GPS map on Strava shows them riding over water, trees, looping over roads, going in straight lines through the forest, etc.Most of them can be flagged. It’s annoying that Strava can’t figure out how to automatically flag an 80 or 200 mph segment, but oh well. BUT there are several rides -- including KOMs! -- which can NOT be flagged! When you try to flag it, you fill out the “reason” box, click the “flag” button, and the box just clears. I’ve tried multiple browsers, with multiple flagging reasons, over multiple days. No matter WHAT, some of these BOGUS KOMs and Top-10s simply cannot be flagged!WHAT GIVES?Also: Why are there certain segments which have sooooooooo many bad GPS errors?

low frame rate flyovers

The Flyover thing is kinda nice, but as I play through  an activity the frame rate progressively degrades on my iPhone 15. On longer rides, it can drop as low as 1 frame per second.

Turning off the new pop-up prompts to edit title / share activity?

Hi, the latest updates of the iOS app have some added automation which seems to try to be helpful, but, please, how can I disable that? 😬First - making a screenshot of activity details triggers a sharing screen (where you can save an image of the map or the activity photo with stats). I understand it might make sense in some use cases, but if I'm taking a screenshot of the splits, elevation graph or pretty much anything in the activity details, I really do not want the sharing screen to pop up and hide the details that I want to capture. Second - once opening a newly imported activity, a "quick edit" dialogue pops up immediately prompting to rename the activity etc. But it's too simplified and doesn't include all the options (such as: shoes), so I always just close it and open the actual Edit mode. The "quick edit" is just a distracting and frustrating step. If anything needs to be automated this way, then perhaps why not opening the newly imported activity in the Edit mod

OpenStreetMap/MapBox Update Time?

Hi Strava team. I recently (about a week and a half ago) made updates on OpenStreetMap to a local trail system (Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham/Birmingham AL) to add a couple of new trails and fix a couple of trail routing issues within the Strava route builder. However, these fixes, while showing up in OpenStreetMaps still, have not yet updated within the Strava route builder. I am curious the typical timeline between updating maps/trails in OpenStreetMap and them being usable in Strava? Thanks.

Segment consolidation keeps a less accurate segment and deletes a more accurate segment

Hey Strava, I’ve noticed the following troubling pattern related to the segment consolidation effort.Let’s say there is an old segment based on trails that no longer exist because there has been some rerouting or just a segment based on a very poor quality GPS data. A new segment is created from a very accurate GPS track produced with a recently released GPS watch with dual-band GPS to correct both the segment track and the distance. At the same time the old inaccurate segment is hidden.What I discover some time later is that the accurate segment is gone without a warning - simply gone. The inaccurate segment remains but remains hidden for me. So at the end I have neither. When Strava consolidates segments it would be reasonable to check them against the heatmap and see which one is closest to recent activities. If the consolidation is based purely on the popularity or a number of hits is the main criteria, how would it be possible to account for the trail reroutings?Consider the follo

fatmaps winter layout.

Strava is absolutely useless for us skiers. Does anyone know of an app similar to fatmaps? I don't give a damn about running or cycling, I want back the same maps that fatmaps had for us skiers.

Hide Followers?

When I look for a specific person Y (not following, private profile) in the overview, it says “X is a subscriber”. When I go into my friend X's profile (we follow each other) the person Y does not belong to the person he’s following/subscribing. It also fits with the total number of people he is following.  What’s right? Does X follow Y?Is it possible to hide persons you follow in your list or is it just an error/bug. I know that X followed Y but it was a time ago and Y was part of his list also.  thank you so much 😊

FATMAP integration

Dear Strava,I posted this previously last week and, instead of getting a reply, it appears to have been re-posted as a reply to your own thread - with no answer to my question. So, again:The loss of FATMAP has led to me having to pay a more expensive subscription to Strava.  However, the promise of a transition to FATMAP features in Strava is not happening.  The main items I have used extensively in the past and find most helpful are navigation and mountain-user features such as National topographic map layers for UK and EU countries, avalanche forecast, and slope angle/aspect layers, as well as waypoints.  There is no sign of any of these yet - do you have an expected date for the return of these?If this will not be re-introduced within the year, I would like to close my account with a full refund.Many thanks,Matt

group activities doesn’t work despite set to “everyone”

I ride with groups several times a week. All the other riders' Strava accounts show the Group Activity ("Rider X rode with Rider Y and Rider Z" etc), but I don't show up in their rides and they don't show up on mine. My Privacy Setting in Group Activities in my settings is set to "Everyone."I opened a support ticket two weeks ago but haven’t even got a response. Anyone experienced the same issue and maybe solved it somehow?

Why does Strava include rest times in my overall pace even when I mark the run as a "workout"?

I’m sure it would be tough to have Strava automatically remove rest times from overall pace (one man’s rest might be another man’s workout), but Strava should allow me to identify rest “segments” in my uploaded workout.  Strava can then ignore them when calculating pace and give me a true average pace.  Example, I run 8x800m with 1 min standing rest - Strava will mark my pace as slower because of the 8 minutes of standing rest.  When we mark the type of run as “workout” I would think Strava could account for rests.  Even better would be for Strava to put my splits on the main workout overview instead of having to drill into the workout.
