Strava saved routes won't load on iOS

I want to download a route to an iPhone for use when offline. I have done this before on this particular device. However, now when I go into my Saved Routes, I see the list of routes, but none of them will open when I select them. Nothing happens when selecting any of the routes. I can go into record and select a saved route and it opens, but if I'm offline, this won't work. Any suggestions?

Activity Feed Delay: Significant Lag in Updates Since Monday

Since Monday, I’ve noticed a significant delay (about 2–3 hours) in the appearance of activities in the feed. This affects both the activities of people I follow and my own activities appearing on others’ feeds. Strava status showing no abnormalities, this issue seems widespread, as people who usually receive tones of kudos are experiencing delays as well - they simply start to get any kudos later as well. Activities eventually appear in chronological order, suggesting a possible delay in server processing. The issue persists regardless of whether activities are uploaded via Garmin or Zwift. Interestingly, when accessing someone’s profile or club feed, the updates are live and function as expected. Location: Europe

Activity not popping up in other people's feed

Today I won my first race. Unfortunately, I can’t show this off to other people (the main purpose of social media of course), because it is not appearing in their feed. I asked a friend if he could see my activity and he could, but he had to specifically search it and nothing popped up on his feed. Btw: my warming-up appears, my cooling down not. Any solution? Thanks.

I’ve noticed the last few Saturdays (maybe other days too) that my activity feed isn’t updated with many of my friends activities. So weird. Anyone notice the same thing?

New route filters on app - only 20 results showing

Hi there. I’ve just noticed that routes on the Android app now have filters for saved routes which is excellent and very welcome. I am only able to see 20 results from a filter search however and they are listed in the order that i created them, most recent first. I can also no longer see a full list of my routes if I have applied no filters, only 20, most recently created first. Although I am very satisfied with the new filters, I feel that only being able to see 20 results at a time is very limiting. I would rather have a full list of routes with no filters than only being able to see 20. I have unistalled/reinstalled the app and logged out/logged in again.

how to change back to email/password login from the One Time Login code

I somehow clicked okay to move to use of a one-time password to log in, but it is less convenient and requires more steps. how do I switch back? There is no longer an option to change password in settings, only change email -- and I want to keep the same email. Thanks

Request for Refund – Accidental Subscription Charge

can i request a refund for a mistaken subscription charge on my account. I accidentally subscribed to a one-year plan, and the payment was auto-deducted without my notice. Unfortunately, I used my school allowance for this transaction, and I am currently in urgent need of the funds!!!!

Why is ‘crop activity’ option not displaying any more?

After I updated my Strava app a few days ago, I can no longer find the ‘crop activity’ option in the usual ellipsis menu. I need to use it on a recent activity where I forgot to stop before I went for a drive (face palm). Unfortunately, I forget to end Strava activities quite often, so I need to use this function a few times a year! I’ve tried on site and app and no luck yet. Anyone know how to do this now?

Strava shows incorrect moving time

My Garmin device shows different elapsed time and moving time for my indoor activities, but Strava shows the same elapsed time and moving time. That's annoying. I'd like to have the actual moving time shown on strava.

API club activities not showing activity date

Hello, this is New Balance Korea. We connect to Strava through an app called MYNB to record and store running data and provide related services to our customers. However, for a while, the data has not been reflected properly, and recently, the icon for installing Strava app has not been viewed on Google Play and the App Store. Do you have any plans to suspend or reduce services to South Korea? If so, please answer the specific schedule plan.

InApp Browser Strava Authentication not working anymore

Hi, the Strava authentication in my windows app CR4NKUP is not working anymore. The app was built in Unity and uses the Vuplex Webengine ( https://developer.vuplex.com/webview/overview ). When the user wants to connect his Strava account for uploading activities to Strava the InApp Webbrowser is opened with the Authentication url and according parameters and the user has to authorize. My app handles then the upload of the activities to Strava and takes care about token refresh, etc. Everything was working fine for more than one year. But since about two months the Authentication does not work anymore. When the Strava page is opened in the InApp webbrowser and the user enters his credentials (email) the page shows an error instead of the next page to enter the password. The error is something like this (translation from German to English): Unexpected Error. Please try again later. If I use the url for authentication directly in the browser everything works fine. No activity retrieved when calling /athlete/activities

Hello, I have implemented a “synchronize” activities action on my website with a Strava connect button. So far, it works well for everybody except for one athlete. The account is correctly associated with Strava, but when calling the /athlete/activities endpoint, nothing is returned. When calling the endpoint for other athletes, 30 (max) activities are returned by the endpoint. There is no error, except that the response body is an empty array. Client id keeps on changing

Recently my api was approved by strava. Post that when I click My API Application in Setting, my client id changes ****80 or ****79. When 79 all my limits gets reset to default and when the id is 80, I get the allowance provided. Any idea?

Deauthorising an athlete - does it reduce the Strava active connections count?

Hello. When deauthorising an athlete from the app side (not the athlete clicking ‘revoke access’ themselves), should we see: the app being removed from the My Apps page for the deauthorised athlete? the “Number of athletes currently connected” reduce on our API connected Strava account (My API Application)? Thanks for your help.

How to change emailadress

Hi all, I don't know where to put this question. So, here i go: So i want to buy Strava Premium. I bought for 70 euro's on Google Pay. What is didn't see, that my Google Pay and Strava-mail don't match. Now i got 70 euro's on a different mailadres and no Premium. Can i change the e-mailadres on strava what is connected to Google Pay or am i doomed to make a whole new strava account?

Turning off the new pop-up prompts to edit title / share activity?

Hi, the latest updates of the iOS app have some added automation which seems to try to be helpful, but, please, how can I disable that? 😬 First - making a screenshot of activity details triggers a sharing screen (where you can save an image of the map or the activity photo with stats). I understand it might make sense in some use cases, but if I'm taking a screenshot of the splits, elevation graph or pretty much anything in the activity details, I really do not want the sharing screen to pop up and hide the details that I want to capture. Second - once opening a newly imported activity, a "quick edit" dialogue pops up immediately prompting to rename the activity etc. But it's too simplified and doesn't include all the options (such as: shoes), so I always just close it and open the actual Edit mode. The "quick edit" is just a distracting and frustrating step. If anything needs to be automated this way, then perhaps why not opening the newly imported activity in the Edit mode right awa

🚀 Question about updating activity descriptions using the Strava API

Hello, we are developing a third-party service using the Strava API. 📌 Scenario: Our service: Receives activity creation/update events via Strava webhooks. Then retrieves the activity data and updates the activity description by appending our service's content. ⚠️ Problem: After receiving the webhook, we retrieve the activity data and update the description.However, we occasionally encounter the following issues: Our description update is not reflected. Descriptions added by other third-party services disappear. To address this, we introduced a 4 to 5-second delay before fetching activity data, but the same issue still happens intermittently. ❓ Questions: What is the recommended approach to prevent description conflicts when multiple third-party services update an activity simultaneously? We would appreciate it if you could share any official guidelines or best practices related to this. Thank you! 🙏

Retrieving Estimated Power in Activity Stream via API

Hi, I’m trying to export power data from an activity using the Strava API. I have a request that fetches the activity stream with the watts parameter. When a power meter was used during the activity, the values are returned correctly. However, if the activity was performed without a power meter, the API returns an empty stream. I noticed that in other places, such as the average_watts field, the API provides a value based on estimated power without any issues. Additionally, on the Analysis tab of the Strava activity page, it’s possible to view estimated power at each time point. Is there a way to retrieve estimated power through the API so that it appears in the activity stream? Maybe there’s another endpoint or parameter that should be included? Thanks for your help!
