Hello, until recently it was possible to show (personal and/or global) heatmaps in the "Maps" and "Record" Mode in the Android App by selecting them in the layer-filter. This selection is still possible, but: although selected, the heatmaps are just not shown in the map! It's broken just for me? Or is that a new bug? Is there any way else to see heatmaps in the Android App apart from viewing a finished activity? (Whichs trace obstructs the heatmap...🙄)Thanks!

When I view an activity, mine or someone else’s, the map isn’t visible and instead a message is displayed, “Error occured in map rendering engine.”When I see activities in the feed or on my profile, the summary/overview maps do show.I’ve tried the following without success:logging in and out clearing cookies clearing cache using a different browser. Problem is happening in Chrome, Chrome (incognito), Firefox.Using a Windows 11 machine, web browser.

Hello,I have implemented a “synchronize” activities action on my website with a Strava connect button. I use AWU3 as a running watch + Polar H10. I don't carry phone with me, I have LTEAll possible permissions has been added to Runna, all is enabled both phone and watchAll workouts syncs OK, but sometimes without a Heart Rate graph, only average valueDid any if you experience such issue? 

For about a week now Strava has been taking about 1:30 to even load the app all the way on my Pixel 6a. After a couple taps on the screen then you have to wait another 1:30 for the next screen. I only use mobile data. Before everything was fine. I've tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the app and even going back an older version. When installing the app it takes forever to install. I've tried various permission settings with the same result. Updated the Android to the latest version. If I log out of the app it goes to a blank gray screen but disabling the 5G internet, Strava login screen pops up and have to renable the 5g and then log back in waiting another 1:30 for everything to load. I've connected my device to another mobile phone with the same result. 

So the strava is unusable for me at this point, I use mi fitness to record my data and then when strava gets it it starts to show some bizarre stats like I made 12km on a 1km with 180 kmph speed 

As Strava has been working to expand the Fatmap engine to web, I want to make this post to point out the things it does decently, mostly misses the mark on, and really needs to do better at. I use Firefox on a Windows machine to inform my experience. I’m using an activity from a friend as examples and the opinions may not apply to other sports since cycling is my main type.Activity Overview: Map window should still be resizable. You cannot scroll to zoom while hovering over a photo (scrolls the whole page). Ideally the photo is exactly where you want to zoom into. Geolocated photos should be toggleable. Playback of flyover should also have a playhead on the elevation graph. Flyover should hide the user photos or at least not obscure the line. Perhaps a p

My old activities from garmin didn't sync to Strava when i connected garmin but new activities get synced to Strava

I don't have a sports year and I'm a subscriber. I've tried everything: updating the app, deleting and redownloading it, logging out and back in... What else can I do?

Hi everyone,Is anyone else having issues with Strava webhooks right now? We’re not receiving any webhook events, and nothing is hitting our server, even though activities are updating on Strava.We’ve checked our config and server logs, and everything looks fine on our end.Just want to see if this is a broader issue.Thanks!

Since Strava is not listening, Im calling on ebike riders to fix this problem ourselves.1. Find the existing segments you normally ride, 2. Go ride them on your ebike and upload as an ebike ride.3. Create the same segments but as ebike segments, with similar naming but with an "e" infront.If all of us do this for all the routes we ride, we can fix this ourselves.

I experience this with all the “schaatsen” segments on the ice track of the Jaap Eden baan in Amsterdam. How come? 

I hate the pop up that asks "do you want to share this activity" when I make a screenshot. This just started happening a day ago. When try to make a screenshot a pop up appears and prevents me from doing screenshots normally. It stops me from doing what I want with a screenshot and using my phone's features. I don’t want the canned Strava sharing images. Anyone else have this problem? 

I’m wondering why my follower and following lists are no longer in alphabetical order?

I took an FTP test a month ago and got a new FTP. But I forgot to enter it back then. I’ve always been able to go in an enter an updated FTP in the past and apply the date of the test to the updated FTP which would then be applied to subsequent activities. That is gone. Can I do this somewhere else?

About 1 week ago I lost the ability to add routes to my events (Chrome Browser Desktop). The dropdown menu is empty when I am creating the event. The workaround is to go back and edit the event with my Pixel Phone, and the route can be added at this time, but this is cumbersome and i’m hopeful that this issue will be fixed.The 2nd issue is that my club is no longer getting notifications when I create events. Issue popped up at the same time, and people are literally thinking that I am phasing them out of communication. As a workaround, I am posting the link to a discord server for visibility, but again, this is extremely cumbersome. Other admins on the team are reporting the same exact problem(s). 

If I receive a notification about a completed activity by a friend, say a run, when I click on it to view it, the map is zoomed out so far I can see the most of Europe and Africa. Is this a bug in an update or have I switched something?

Feedback for the product team: The weekly heatmap is so blurry that it's pretty much unusable.  Example - here's the same spot in the map, weekly vs. gobal heatmap. There's some construction going on in that area so it would be helpful to know which side of the river has been open/closed for traffic. The weekly heatmap would seem to be a great tool for that purpose, but the path is terribly blurry, too wide to actually give any useful information. The level of detail on global heatmap shows that it's perfectly possible to distinguish the paths.  Could the weekly map simply use the same width as the global?

As of last Sunday my gravel ride with map type `dirt’ appears with a completely black background on Strava. This also applies to several `dirt’ rides of other gravel bikers. This is the case on both Safari and FireFox. On my iPhone everything looks normal. A friend noticed the same on her Windows laptop.Any clue what causes this, and, more importantly, how to get rid of it?Thanks, Jan Willem.

Hi everyone,I submitted a request form to increase the API request limit last Wednesday, but I haven’t received any response yet.I’m wondering if the Strava developer team is currently on Christmas holiday, or if anyone else is experiencing delays with request limit approvals around this time.If you’ve submitted a similar request recently and got a response, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experience.Thanks in advance!

Hello,I recently finished the London marathon with the activity recording on my Apple Watch.  My watch was running low on battery, but I managed to finish the race with some battery left. I completed it on my watch and got the usual readout of statistics. However following this my watch ran out of battery and I don’t think it uploaded onto my actual account as it is not showing up on my Strava account. Is there any way of recovering saved runs which haven’t been uploaded? Thanks 

In the last few weeks all my group activities do not display the With other riders. It just suddenly disappeared. Yesterday I rode with 12 riders, and most of them are on Strava and I follow/they follow.  but none of them show. I have deep dived into my settings and cannot see what the issue is. most frustrating.Also, I used to get AI generated ride summaries , and in recent months they also disappeared.

Why Strava stopped managing activities logged under multiple entries? Even with multiple recording devices (sports watch, bike computer) I’ve always made sure my that my strava activities are logged as one effort, making sure that my ‘actual’ mileage is accurate.  If I remember correctly, Strava was monitoring this and flagging duplicate entries, much like how segments are being protected.But now i see that this is no longer the case, with some profiles posting way too much mileage, only to find out they have multiple entries for a single activity.With this, i am slowly losing my interest in making this accurate anymore, giving me another reason to unsubscribe and just be one of the free users.  Else what’s the point in reporting year end achievements if it’s false.

With the newly introduced per app athlete limit its clear around 15% of our athlete tokens are orphaned. Is there any way to clear these down? We're quite happy to cycle through all the valid tokens and make a "hey this one is still in use" poke to an API call 🙂Thanks
