Run not uploaded to strava - Garmin upload issue

Yesterday I went for a run, 10k.Usually when a save the activity on my Garmin Forerunner 255 in less than a minute I’ll be able to see it on Strava.Yesterday the activity was normally visibile in Garmin Connect, but isn’t uploaded to Strava yet

Audio Notifications not working

Hello,A while ago my audio notifications stopped working and i don't know why. I've already tried to adjust the following settings:- apps authorization;- uninstalled the app and restarted the phone - reinstall the app- tried and connect with my headphones - adjusted the text to speech settings and the language I have a nothing 3a. I hope that there is a solution other than having to do a factory reset.

I Can’t Create Routes

For almost 2 months I’ve not been able to create a route on any of my Windows 11 browsers. I deleted cookies, cleared caches and I even set up a new windows user account just for the purpose of using a new browser (with no extension) but all to no avail. Nothing happens anymore when I enter the ‘start’ and ‘end’ postcodes.I’m a paid subscriber but It’s as if Strava no longer recognizes me as a paid subscriber halfway through the subscription.Any advice please?

Pause button on ride screen on iphone

Recently, the Strava interface changed on the ride screen on my iPhone and now there is a giant “pause” button taking up a good amount of space at the bottom of my screen.  This is bad design. Not only is it taking up unnecessary screen space, the big button can be easily tapped by accident. My last two rides, I have had lots of miles not get properly recorded because I inadvertently had tapped the pause button without knowing it.   And of course, when you click resume and you’re in a different location, then you get those straight lines and not the GPS tracks.   This is just bad design.   Strava Team, if you are reading this, please do something to correct it.  Thank you.

Strava API: activities/streams API not returning latlng

Hello, the following API appears to no longer be returning latlng.  I believe I ran this same URL a few weeks ago and did receive latlng in the results.“https://www.strava.com/api/v3/activities/<ACTIVITY_ID>/streams?access_token=<ACCESS_TOKEN>&keys=time,latlng&key_by_type=true” When I convert the response to json, the structure of the response appears as follows (I put in the “...”){'distance': {'data': [0.0, 0.0, 9.2, ... 4438.1, 4440.6], 'series_type': 'distance', 'original_size': 246, 'resolution': 'high'}, 'time': {'data': [0, 1, 10, ... 1550, 1551], 'series_type': 'distance', 'original_size': 246, 'resolution': 'high'}} Previously, the response string included a section that was structured as follows (but with actual lat/lon pairs):'latlng': {'data': [[0.0, 0.0], [0.0, 0.0], [0.0, 0.0] … [0.0, 0.0], [0.0, 0.0]}... Is this a bug, did I miss an API change, or perhaps did I change something in my code without realizing it? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

trouble creating webhook subscription

I had a webhook that was working for a few years and stopped working on April 12. I thought perhaps deleting and resubscribing might do something. I was able to delete the old subscription. If I try to subscribe using the same process that has worked in the past, I get a "not verifiable" response back. The strange thing is that my server logs don't show any traffic from the Strava server, so it seems like Strava can't contact my server.Anyone have any ideas?

Why hide calories for a commute?

I’ve just noticed that if I cycle to work (and mark it as a commute as a result), I can no longer see how many calories I’ve burnt. Instead calories gets replaced with CO2 saved.I mean, that’s great, I don’t mind seeing that, but why hide my calories? That’s literally why I record my bike trips, so I can add the calories burnt to MyFitnessPal. You have the data, just show it! Sure, I know roughly how many kCal my usual route takes - but I don’t always go the same route!

Run activity doesn't match a segment that was created from that exact activity. How is that possible?

I created https://www.strava.com/segments/39918812 from today’s run. Initially it was showing only me on that segment and it wasn’t populated with other people. After several hours I tried to edit the segment and saved it without making any changes. After that the segment leaderboard quickly populated with other people, however my original run activity from which I created that segment doesn’t match it even after I repeatedly try to refresh achievements. How is that possible?I should add that if I go to the list nearly matched segments on the web, which is the “Don't see the segment you're looking for?” link at the bottom, curiously, the new segment is listed there among other segments that were close but didn’t quite match, even though it shows that segment as a perfect match - obviously because that how I created that segment. I wonder why it can’t get matched though?Can someone from Strava take a look?

One API on Two Websites?

I have a running blog and a separate riding blog on two different domains.I set up the API for my earlier site and it’s working fine.But I cannot set it up to also run on the newer riding website: {"message":"Bad Request","errors":[{"resource":"Application","field":"redirect_uri","code":"invalid"}]}Any ideas/workarounds?Both sites are running WordPress.

Uploads failing with "Payload Too Large"

Since today, most of my POST requests to the /uploads API are failing with HTTP 413 (Payload Too Large).I did some additional tests and it seems that files bigger than 1MB are being rejected - unfortunately most of my (TCX) files are larger than that.This issue started to occur today (28.08.2025) after 13:15 UTC. All uploads before were successfull. All uploads afterwards are failing

Can’t “Like” Comments Under my Activity Posts and My Kudos Are Disappearing

Everything was working fine earlier today. I was able to “like” comments under my posts, but when I tried later I got the message, “Something is wrong, please try later.”I also noticed that after I give Kudos and refresh my app, those kudos have disappeared.I can still comment on posts, but I can’t like any responses.I’ve logged out, reinstalled, etc.

Video Upload Quality Needs to be Improved

As an avid runner and cyclist I love using Strava and it’s become one of my favorite forms of social media. However the video upload quality is shockingly bad, especially for a paid platform as popular as Strava in the year 2025. You can do better. Please include the ability to upload more high quality video clips along with the new updates that have been happening recently. Thanks!!

Add the Ability to Report Bot Accounts

Under “Report Profile” there is no option to report an obvious bot account, so I just end up blocking them and not reporting them. I get 2 or 3 bots following me per day and I’m not even popular. I’m getting fed up and it seems like Strava doesn’t even want to take the most basic steps towards addressing the problem.

Discord bot using Strava API

I created a Discord bot using the Strava API. Our club has around 600 members, and we plan to organize team competitions on our Discord server. However, the "Number of athletes allowed to connect" is limited to 1, so I'm unable to fully utilize the API. I have filled out the form and submitted it. How long does it take for approval?

Strava app super low and crashing in route following mode

Hi, I haven’t found any similar bug report so I hope I’m not reporting something already known. For a few weeks (since I upgraded to the latest release of strava in July’25 I believe) it has become impossible to follow a route (Mountain Bike). I can upload my route and start following/recording but after some time the recording starts lagging more and more behind my actual position and eventually the app displays an error message and reinitializes, losing all the positions since the point between the latest recorded position and my actual position, and stopping displaying the route. Then the problem occurs again every 5 to 10 minutes, and each time I have to reload the route.I have tried everything I could : reinstalling the app, rebooting the phone before using the app, closing/deactivating other apps to make sure only strava was running, but nothing seems to fix the problem. However I have tried using in parallel another app like outdooractive or openrunner for route following while

I noticed this in your latest announcement about updates to the TOS/privacy policy:Al features. Like so many of you, we’re excited about AI, and we’re identifying ways it can enhance your product experience. We explain how we use data in our AI features.(Sidenote: this is just terrible messaging, not everyone is “excited about AI,” and it’s basically a triggering word for a lot of people, who will write off your entire product because they have come to associate “AI” with “en**bleep**tification.”)The only explanation of using data in AI features I could find was in the privacy policy (identical language appears in Legal Bases):Provide AI Features. Why is Strava preventing the flagging (or ideally autoflagging) public ebike rides that do not abide by a country's ebike laws?

It’s good that Strava is now beginning to autoflag public “rides” that the AI thinks has either been done at least partially on an ebike or in a motor vehicle.But what about the mess of public “ebike” ride segments corrupted by illegal ebikes?As far as the law is concerned in the UK for road ebikes, if you’re getting motor assistance above 25kph (~15.5mph); the motor assistance is happenig without pedalling; or your ebike is providing more than a 250W average assistance over 30 minutes of riding, your ebike is considered to be an electric moped or electric motorbike.So Strava is allowing electric mopeds and electric motorbikes on UK ebike segment leaderboards, as well as on many countries in Europe and beyond.Electric mopeds and motorbikes have no place on UK public road ebike segment leaderboards.No “Johny Average” rider is riding a 4% hill for approx 4 minutes on a 15-30Kg UK road legal ebike at an average of anything near 20mph, up a slight drag for minutes at 20mph, or riding essen

Distance discrepancies with Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra after One UI Watch 8 update

Hi everyone,I’ve been running with my Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra for years with 474 runs so far and I’ve always seen Strava show a distance very close to, or slightly longer than, what Samsung Health records.Examples before the One UI Watch 8 update:July 21: Samsung 8.03 km → Strava 8.08 km July 27: Samsung 8.00 km → Strava 8.03 km July 31: Samsung 5.01 km → Strava 5.04 kmAfter the One UI Watch 8 update:Aug 8: Samsung 7.01 km → Strava 6.82 km Aug 12: Samsung 7.03 km → Strava 6.89 km Aug 15: Samsung 7.11 km → Strava 6.91 kmThis is a consistent drop per run compared to Samsung Health, which never happened before the update.Has anyone else noticed this issue since the One UI Watch 8 update? Sharing Activity Issue

When I go to share one of my activities I have no options of images to share including the stats sticker. I have my privacy settings to everyone and have updated the app to the latest version. I've attached a screenshot of the options I have once the share button is clicked for any activity. When I click the share to again at this stage it just gives a list of apps. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Workout name

On my Garmin Connect calendar I have an activity created by Runna App with a name like "W6 Mon Tempo - Tempo 2ks (9km)". When I do the workout it became "City name - W6 Mon Tempo - Tempo 2ks (9km)".When I finish the workout it appears as "Afternoon Run" on Strava.If I open the fit file with https://www.fitfileviewer.com/ I can see it under "wkt name" (see attachment)Neither Strava nor www.activityfix.com are able to see it.Do you have any ideas?

Streaks not showing up 🔥

Apparently streaks has been live on the app for two or three days now but even though my app is updated I can’t find them anywhere. I checked under the progress tab as well as other areas. Anyone else not seeing streaks?!

issue with importong from Apple workout.

Having an issue with importing apple workout from health, Strava is crashing(Strava was reinstaled many times). Issue started after upgrading to IOS 26 beta 2, on beta 1 was with no problems. Also noticed that issue is occuring with activities having any map like running.

Da Fit and Strava sync

Dear Team,  I have a smart watch KT71 and app Da Fit synced quite well. However, for our corporate competition, I will need to have activity log on my Strava Account.  I already connected Da Fit app with Strava but activity log does not appear on Strava.  I also tried another approach to disconnect smart watch from Da Fit and on Strava Sensors tried to add the device but it does not even appear on sensors section even though bluetooth is on.  Any ideas? Thanks

[Resolved] Some Zwift runs upload with 0 time and 0 distance

Hi @For a year now I have the following problem:When I run on Zwift, the data on Strava is displayed incompletely. the training is automatically synchronized. Strava also recognizes it as a Zwift race. The kilometers are also displayed, as is the route on the virtual map. It also recognizes the virtual segments. All other data is missing! This problem occurs in 9 out of 10 uploads and only on Strava. It is displayed correctly on Wahoo and everywhere else. According to Strava support, it is a known error that has been fixed for a year. Does anyone know the problem?
