(RESOLVED) Runs \ Walks not appearing on Progress but on Activities.

Hoping someone can direct me to solve this issue  Ive logged a walk today and run both are not showing up on my progress but are visible on my activities as people are giving me kudos. ? Is there a issue somewhere? Not a serious issue but its bugging me :-)

The beginning of the week

Our week starts on Sunday, and my monthly running diary, every week starts on Monday and it's hard to understand how many days I'd ran every week and which week... is there a way to change it? In Garmin, as I remember, I can choose the starting day of the week..Thank you!

Default setting for "Type of ride"

Every ride shows “Type of Ride” as “Commute” by default.  How do I turn that off? None of my rides are “Commute”

low frame rate flyovers

The Flyover thing is kinda nice, but as I play through  an activity the frame rate progressively degrades on my iPhone 15. On longer rides, it can drop as low as 1 frame per second.

Syncing Samsung Health to Strava

How on earth does this work? I have a Galaxy Fit 3 and Samsung Galaxy A55. I understand that you toggle on Strava as a synced service through Samsung Health. The watch and phone are synced fine. I’ve given Strava and Samsung Health all permissions, including physical activity and sensors. What shows in the Strava app when they are successfully synced? In the settings bit, I can click two different things. One - ‘Connect an app or device’ with a little watch icon. And two -Manage apps and devices’. The first opens a screen of different watches available, and I select Samsung. It then says ‘visit our support page to connect’ and has a orange ‘get started’ button at the bottom. When clicked, it’s a support post about connecting it - all of which I have done. When I press back, it briefly flashes up with ‘error connecting your device’. The wheel spins in the top right corner of the Strava app too. What do I need to do from within the Strava app to sync and connect?

Webhook - receiving deauthorization messages but not activity updates

So here’s where I got to -created a new push subscription successfully and got a subscription Id back tested my endpoint to ensure it can process test POST messages ok, and has logging in place to show if it gets called I login as a user and authorize the app with the scope activity:read_all,read,read_all,profile:read_all, and verified that the context with the access token also includes those scopes Now I go to strava and change or create a new activity, but nothing gets sent to my webhook if I deauthorize the app from the settings/my apps page, I see the post getting send successfully to my endpoint with the right Id in for my user, and telling me the athlete has deauthorised. Wondering why I’m not getting any of the activity updates.   My app that the client logs in with works fine and I can query all activities and profile data with the supplied access token.  The Strava developer page for my API shows I have 1 user connected, as expected.One strange thing I notice is the strava my

Webhook - Not Receiving Activity Events

Hi everyone,I'm having an issue with Strava's webhook for my side project and could really use some help. My webhook subscription seems to be partially working since I do receive events when an athlete deauthorizes the app. However, I'm not receiving any events for new activities.Here are some details about my setup:The webhook subscription is successfully created.I have verified that the authorisation scope activity:read_all is granted.Despite this, new activity events are not coming through.Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any idea what might be causing this?Thanks in advance for any suggestions!Best,Marvin

Why can’t i see power zones map in Strava?

Why can’t i see power zones map in Strava? I use Wahoo’s heart rate monitor, speed and cadence sensors, yet I cannot see the Zone1-5 readings. Are these sensors and monitors sufficient to calculate the training zones? Please advise.

Segments minimal length

Why can't I create segments shorter than 500 meters for cycling and shorter than 300 meters for running, even though I have a subscription, when I've seen shorter segments on Strava?For example this running segment is only 280 meters long: https://www.strava.com/segments/19339033

Driving Directions on Strava is broken?

Hi,I am referring to Driving Directions – Strava Support.My route starts from Home, goes through various places, and then ends back at Home.When I follow the instructions in the above link, my navigation app (Google Maps) basically just says I am Home, because the directions are only from the ‘Start location’ to the ‘End location’, which are both Home.Google Maps supports multiple locations. Please could the feature be fixed, such that the multi-point route is also reflected on the Navigation Apps?Many thanks.

How do you view another athlete's relative effort?

My wife and I are both Strava subscribers. I can see her relative effort in activities when I view these activities on the Strava website but I can't for the life of me see this data in the Strava android app, and this is the interface that I use by far the most frequently.Can anyone point me in the right direction? Please don't tell me this is another area where there is a lack of feature parity between the app and the website?

Could not create or view saved route when using PC

could not create a route, weather it is short or long distant, i am getting an error message which is "Error: Sorry, we couldn’t complete that action. Please try plotting the point again.This can occur when routing across large distances, so try plotting more frequent waypoints that are closer together."

Inconsistencies in "My Year in Sport" Numbers

Hi everyone,I’ve been enjoying the "My Year in Sport" feature and taking a closer look at the data it shows for 2024, but I’ve noticed some inconsistencies that are rather confusing, and I’m wondering if anyone else has come across this?For example, in my summary, the total distance for "Ride" is listed as 3,880 km, and for "E-Bike Ride," it’s 1,005 km. However, when I check my Training Log and YTD data, the numbers are 3,885.8 km for "Ride" and 1,005.9 km for "E-Bike Ride." Even when I include the small distance from a few "Velomobile Ride" activities, the total still doesn’t seem to add up to the figure shown in the summary.It gets even more baffling when looking at the overall total distance for all activities in 2024. My Training Calendar summary says 5,741.3 km, "My Year in Sport" says 5,753 km, and the Training Log for All Sports shows 5,728.8 km.What’s odd is that at least for running, everything seems to match up perfectly. So, where’s the trick when it comes to cycling?I’ve at

Webhook Data - Limiting

We’re not too near to our api limits, but do get close sometimes. Our system is only interested in activities or types of Swim, Bike, Run, or Walking. I don’t think I’ve seen anything, but I was wondering if there was a way to stop Strava webhook from sending e.g. Skiing activities/Paddle Boarding. As querying those only wastes our api limits.

Inaccurate Swim Time issue

I am using strava on my mobile phone to record open water swimming. When saving the activity I get a ridiculous time, although the recorded route is accurate. I can get the correct time by resaving as a run and then again as a swim. However, as soon as I share it defaults to a ridiculous time. Anyone else experienced this issue and can it be fixed?

Athlete Limits

I have a list of applications we publish with Strava integration features and a lot of them have reached the athlete limits. I have filled out the form multiple times over the past few weeks and have not received a response or an update. Is there any way to expedite these athlete limit requests and make a mass update to multiple client Ids at once for those of us with White Label applications?

Authorization Error: "Invalid Access Token" Despite Following OAuth Flow

 Hi,I'm encountering an issue with the Strava API when trying to retrieve activities. Strava API: activities/streams API not returning latlng

Hello, the following API appears to no longer be returning latlng.  I believe I ran this same URL a few weeks ago and did receive latlng in the results.“https://www.strava.com/api/v3/activities/<ACTIVITY_ID>/streams?access_token=<ACCESS_TOKEN>&keys=time,latlng&key_by_type=true” When I convert the response to json, the structure of the response appears as follows (I put in the “...”){'distance': {'data': [0.0, 0.0, 9.2, ... 4438.1, 4440.6], 'series_type': 'distance', 'original_size': 246, 'resolution': 'high'}, 'time': {'data': [0, 1, 10, ... 1550, 1551], 'series_type': 'distance', 'original_size': 246, 'resolution': 'high'}} Previously, the response string included a section that was structured as follows (but with actual lat/lon pairs):'latlng': {'data': [[0.0, 0.0], [0.0, 0.0], [0.0, 0.0] … [0.0, 0.0], [0.0, 0.0]}... Is this a bug, did I miss an API change, or perhaps did I change something in my code without realizing it? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Wrong segment data for virtual segment "Alpe du Zwift"

The virtual segment Aple du Zwift doesn’t show the correct data. The distance of 12,17 km seems to be correct but the elevation (729m) and the grade (-0,8%) are totally wrong. At the moment, this is a downhill segment. 😄 But elevation should be around 1.000 meters and the grade is 8.5%. The elevation profile is also absolutely wrong.Who can fix this?

Get Advanced Metrcis via API

Hi,I would like to integrate and display advanced metrics for Subscription users in our application, such as Fitness Score, Relative Effort, Training Log, etc., to provide a fitness summary, send notifications, predictions, and more.However, I couldn’t find a clear endpoint for this in the documentation. It seems like I might need to retrieve all activities, count their relative effort (which appears to be tied to the `suffer_score`), and then manually calculate the values. But I would expect there to be an easier method.Could you please clarify if there is a more straightforward way to achieve this?Thanks for your help.

Hi Strava team, We have  the 999 Athlete limit and have tried contacting support to request to increase it 200k but we didnt get any update for almost 1month now.Is there a separate contact form or method to get this number increased?Thanks.

Hello, so I’m using an iPhone 14 Plus with the most recent iOS version, I tried the Strava widget but it does not update, does not show any activity, I already uninstalled and rebooted my phone but nothing… how do I fix it?
