My Stats on Strava are lame.  In the web browser view, Strava does not offer the option to show combined stats for all TYPES of activities.

The only option Strava makes available are statistics each year by activity type, so Hike, Run, Swim or Bike individually.

If a user wants correct statistics, we need to to manually input and calculate totals across all activity types that we are recording.

There needs to be the ability for the user to combine types to get accurate readings by year and by all time.

You can see some combined stats in the training calendar: https://www.strava.com/athlete/calendar

But you don’t see elevation gained in that view.   Strava has always been a design mess, with different platforms and views showing different info.  Android is different than IOS which is different than the Web and with this new info, we see that info in the training calendar is different than what is displayed on the profile page.  Whew….

Seriously, the Strava developers need to lean into AI to help them redesign Strava from the ground up!

Another option to see combined stats for the year is to set a “goal” for that stat (such as elevation or distance) and pick “All Sports” from the dropdown.  You can then just look at your goals and it will show your stats.  It isn’t as convenient as the sport specific listing you have up front, but it is a way to get at least some of the information you are looking for automatically tabulated.
