Strava watch interactions seem to be bugged. Previously, the quick start watch tile would show your 3 recent activities and the option for a list. Now, it just shows run, walk and cycle, and selecting one of these will not start the activity, but will open the list of activities.Activities aren't ordered in any logical way. With ride types not together, indoors activities not together, or alphabetical at the least. Often times selecting something from the quick start tiles will tell you a workout is already active, before crashing and then starting over showing the activity list.Previous posts have been made, but it's been going on for so long that folks think that this is the norm. I recently noticed notifications about keeping my weekly streak alive. I’m sure many people find the feature helpful to motivate them, but I don’t need it at all, and would rather not have yet another thing keeping my notification icon badged. I would love a way to turn off streak tracking.

Why am I seeing two very different cycling distance/elevation totals for this month? For example, the total in the 800K challenge is currently 691 km, but when I go down into the overall standings, I'm only shown with 611 km. Elevation challenges shows 6,114 m at the top, but then 5,121 m when I go down to my ranking. I have not entered any cycling events manually this month.

Hi all,  When I try to open my saved routes on mobile app, I have the following error pop up message: “something went wrong, please try again”I already try to:- log out/log in - log out, delete app / reinstall app and log in - also restarted the phone the same problem persists. This is very annoying since I’m mostly paying strava for this feature. Does anyone have a solution? thanks in advance. 

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the recently updated functionality to flag Activities is currently not working and I get this error…  The Activity I am trying to report is number 12924442083 - a “bike ride” with a sustained speed over 70 mph (where the speed limit is 50 mph) 

Hi,I went on a hike but forgot to end it, so the drive back home was registered as part of the activity and also showed up on the heatmap.Cropping the activity removed the drive from the hike, but this didn't remove the 8 kilometers of driving from the heatmap. It's been weeks and the map has not updated to reflect the edited activity.What do?

Hey 👋 Recently started experimenting with API, and wanted to fetch watts stream for cycling to calculate different metrics on my own (1sec power, 10 sec power, 1 minute power, ...). Endpoint: https://developers.strava.com/docs/reference/#api-Streams-getActivityStreams What I noticed immediately upon fetching data, is that I was not able to match anyhow 1-sec best power. Strava app showed me 1-sec power around 600 watts for the ride, but when I fetched the stream - the highest number was around 270. I read about it a bit, learned that Strava might be downsampling on longer rides, but what feels weird is that this ride was 45-mins long, and my strava app even shows 15-sec power around 500. Now I’m left wondering if streams endpoint is of any use, since I can’t rely on the returned data.

Today recorded 22k in my activity.  Actually only 14k.  And Strava even reports both.  See screenshots.

The new rounded column style (top) detracts from the visual alignment / absorption with workout charts.  It makes it more difficult to align perspective from left to right between columns and relative to the axes.Cosmetically it appears as a lower precision option, especially on a small phone screen.What value/outcome was determined to be achieved with this new design?  Did the community request a change or is this just a consequence of an updated design system?  Was it user tested before full release?thx

Hey everyone,I just got the Xiaomi Watch S4 recently and have been using it with the Mi Fitness app. It’s already linked to Strava, and my outdoor walking activities sync perfectly no problem there.But here’s the issue:Any outdoor cycling activity I record using the watch does not sync to Strava.I tried short tests (500m+, GPS was on, strong signal) still nothing shows up on my Strava account.Things I’ve tried:✅ Unlinked & relinked Strava✅ Restarted both phone and watch✅ Tried both WiFi and mobile data✅ Synced Mi Fitness with Google Fit (still didn’t show in Strava)It’s honestly super frustrating since cycling is my main cardio and I was expecting this flagship watch to handle that no problem. This has been going on for months. I can’t start a run without a premium ad popping up on my screen. I have to view my stats through my Home Screen because the app isn’t functional. Until this is resolved and I stop getting these ads, I will be using Nike Run Club. Thank you and please settle this asap. hi. previously, my strava account link with Zepp account and watch. Now, im trying to link my new coros watch with strava account, following the step provided by coros via link. But not working. how to sync my new coros watch? 

For my pool swims or indoor bikerides I would like to add a location, like the name of the pool.Something similar as the gear option. A text field would be nice..I do not favour of putting it in the title. Difficult for selections. 

I noticed in the global heatmap in new york city, if you set the sports to “all sports” there weird squares all over the place. they are especially prominent if you set it specifically to “all cycle sports” or just “ride” only. they are perfectly north-south oriented, and are 0.25x0.25 miles (or 1 mile in circumference)it does not take much to tell that there are no such routes that exist in the city. so what causes these? I’m also wondering if it’s just on my side.. 

so i recently started to cycle on a Bluetooth Connected fitness bike.  i Connect my Apple Watch and record to Apple fitness. once done i import to Strava. I want to show the distance i have cycled but Strava is not showing the data even though its avaible via Apple fitness. is This a missing feature? A bug? Am i missing someting?  Best reguards.

Several times now my Apple watch is stopping with low battery after a run with Strava. I record my 50 min run in my watch (series 6) with battery on ~50%.Soming back home, before I can synchronize the run, the watch suddenly turns off due to low battery power. If I can manage to synchronize the run immediately as I get home, the battery level remains OK.Also the recharging, getting back to live takes longer  and it drains the battery down immediately as long the run ist not synched. After synching everything is back to normal. Any idea how to solve this issue?

I have created many new Segments in the last 7 years and I am quite familiar with the process.  Typically the leaderboards for new Segments are built in an hour or so and the process evidently involves scanning the most recent Activities first (if I am bored I might refresh the new leaderboard a few times to see it develop).About 20 hours ago I created a new Segment.  When I look at the leaderboard just now I see only 54 entries (there should be about 300, because the new Segment is essentially the first half of a much longer Segment that has this many) and all the entries are after Oct 2023, suggesting the process is only about 15 % complete.About 8 hours ago I created 3 more Segments.  When I looked just now these new Segments only have a few entries in their leaderboards and nothing before October 2025, suggesting the process is running at only a fraction of the usual speed.Is this a known problem ?  When can we expect things to return to “normal” ?Tha

When I go to the the map and i want to choose backcountry ski is not in the list, any ski related sport is not on the list.

It would be helpful to be able to filter routes by sun exposure.  Incorporating information on tree cover might be a challenge, but accounting for topography, buildings, time of day and time of year would be a start, which is information that seems to be available on other tools:  https://shademap.app/.
