Using DaFit app to export data to Strava but it seems that every time there is a difference of 3 hours in the time of the activity (if the workout was done at 3pm, it shows 6pm on strava when exported). Also, sometimes the the distance on strava is almost double of what it is on the app (with the start and end point tied up together somehow)How to fix this?

Let’s consider the following two fairly popular segments in my area - they are the same segment but in opposite directions:  Even though these segments are on literally the same trail that crosses the hill, one of them can be synced as a live segment and another one can’t. Both of them contain both uphill and downhill sections, but the two ends of the trails are at slightly different elevations, so it ends up having a bit more climbing than descending in one direction than in another.Do you think that it is arbitrary that Strava allows one of these two segments to be synced but not another? Does it even make sense to apply this limitation to running segments?To giv

I’ve been using Strava on my Android phone(s) for a decade and this week the app won’t open on my Moto unless it’s connected to Wi-Fi or has cellular coverage.  If I have bars or Wi-Fi it owns just fine, if not, it doesn’t.  I deleted the app and reinstalled it from Play Store with no change.  Since most of the time my activities are remote this is a hassle!  Ideas?   TIA!

Hello,I am the developer of an Apple Watch workout app which exports data to Strava with FIT files and Strava API.Is there a way to display the Apple Watch device model in Strava like for other watches ?I suppose I have to use some specific Manufacturer and DeviceID in my FIT file, but I don’t know what to use for an Apple Watch app to be recognized by Strava API

Steps:Connect external bluetooth HRM (in this case polar’s arm band) to Apple Watch Do a workout on Apple Watch using apple’s app. Import to StravaWorkout on Strava did not contain any HR data! I do get HR data if i don’t use an external HRM though. If I look at the workout in the apple fitness app, i do see the HR data from the external HRM.I believe this is an issue with Strava only selecting the HR data from the Apple Watch source. In Health App → Heart Rate → Data Sources & Access, you can see the Data Sources, including any external HRM. Note: this happened today, but yesterday it did work.Note 2: just did a test again and seems to work 💀still weird why that one run didnt

When I sync my ski activity from Slopes to Strava, the lift ascents are being counted as ski runs. In Slopes, runs and lifts are correctly separated, but Strava merges them, which inflates total distance, time, and elevation stats. It seems Strava isn’t recognizing Slopes’ lift/run data properly.

Cuando voy al gimnasio, no me deja especificar al introducir de forma manual la actividad ni las calorías ni la FC que me ha calculado el reloj. Lo veo incongruente con que, por ejemplo, sí que dé la opción de introducir km en la opción de “entrenamiento con pesas”.Por tanto, ¿sería posible que al introducir una actividad manual se pueda introducir el dato de kcal y el de FC?Me ocurre lo mismo con natación, Strava no me deja pasar directamente la actividad y siempre tengo que volcarla de forma manual, pero al introducir los datos no puedo introducirlos todos y la actividad queda muy vacía.Gracias. I've been using Outdooractive (formerly ViewRanger) for several years now. I decided to sign up for Strava to check it out. It looks like it might be a better option for what I need but I'm having a little problem moving over data.I exported all my "tracks" from Outdooractive to GPX files as well as FIT files. This was a pain to do one by one, but it's done. However, when I try to import them into Strava, it doesn't bring over the title for each, which is pretty important to me. If I open one of the GPX files in Notepad++, it correctly shows the name of the track within the <name> and </name> element tags that are within the <trk> and </trk>. But it doesn't bring them over into Strava's activity for the title - instead, it just defaults to things like "Afternoon Run."Is that expected behavior? I don't want to manually have to change all of these in Strava. Can I make changes to the GPX files before importing them into Strava so it'll carry

I took an FTP test a month ago and got a new FTP. But I forgot to enter it back then. I’ve always been able to go in an enter an updated FTP in the past and apply the date of the test to the updated FTP which would then be applied to subsequent activities. That is gone. Can I do this somewhere else?

I have been working on a strava app and I have been the only tester.  I’m at a point that I need additional testers so I just submitted a request for this.As far as switching between local and staging environments, I’ve had to switch Strava Callback Domain manually between localhost and staging. Once I get approval for additional testers I won’t be able to do this manually.  Appreciate any insights for how I can make this work for both and not have to manually switch Strava’s callback domain.Thank you in advance!

Training load has decreased by 7 points overnight and my activity from the weekend is now showing less than at the time of upload. Paying for a premium subscription and wouldn’t expect this to happen. Please advise Strava.

When I go to the the map and i want to choose backcountry ski is not in the list, any ski related sport is not on the list.

My main activity is cycling. This is just a suggestion relating to the badges you give out. I like the badges - especially the monthly distance riding badges. I am not an elite athlete, nor do I regularly ride more than 30 miles in one go, so I only set out to achieve the 200k per month badge. Recently I have managed to attain the 200k badge for 12 months straight, having not been able to achieve it previously due to illness/injury, which I think is a great achievement in its own right. Why don't you give Badges for recognising 'perseverance and dedication'? No matter what distances people may set as their targets, if they achieve their target for 12 months straight, then that deserves some recognition. You don't need to stop at 12 months, what about 2 years, or 3. 5 years straight without missing a month would be tremendous for anyone, no matter what level they are at. Please give it some thought.

Hi All, I use Strava on my Apple Watch Series 6.  For the past few weeks (since last OS update), elevation gains (outdoor ride) have been way off, reporting at least double what they should be.  Is anyone else experiencing the same?  I removed and reinstalled Strava on my watch and phone, but that hasn't made any difference.

If a segment includes an out and back, how close to the turn around do I need to get for it to count?  For example, the segment includes offshoot dead end road that is ridden out and back as part of the segment.  What’s the tolerance for that segment to count or be rejected?

Currently i have an application integrated with Strava. However, the access token I’m using has expired, and I can no longer retrieve the latest activity data from Strava. What should I do to ensure my application remains connected to Strava?  

I’m using the iOS Strava app on an iPhone 15. Recently -- the past few months -- while recording an activity, the map fails to load beyond whatever initial blocks were loaded when the recording initially started. As a result, beyond the immediate vicinity of the starting point, the map view shows mostly a sea of gray, on which the GPS track is overlaid. Segments also load OK and float on the gray background. See this screenshot for an example: Maps load fine in the “Maps” tab once the activity is stopped. I can also verify it’s not a cell data issue. The issue is consistent; it’s occurred on every single one of my last dozen or so recordings. Apparently streaks has been live on the app for two or three days now but even though my app is updated I can’t find them anywhere. I checked under the progress tab as well as other areas. Anyone else not seeing streaks?!

Hello, for some time i see only clean maps and it annoys me because i want to understand more when i look on route of others.Tnk.

This week (Nov 3rd - Nov 9th 2025) I had three activities of running. First on Nov 4th, 2025 12.12km and 1.01km and the third one is on Nov 7th, 2025 13.13km. In my profile activities appear the total mileage is 26.26km, but in my club’s leaderboard it only appears my 1.01km of running. Could anyone help me to overcome this problem? I’m afraid that next week will happen again like that. Thank you

I completed a Bike and Run multisport activity using the apple fitness app. After uploading to Strava it is shown as one continuous activity. I know other smart watches upload as separate activities and would be nice if it was the same with apple fitness as you do not see any segments or average speed data for the individual sports and the transition is not accounted for either .
