At the bike event night, when waiting to go, my Strava app stopped recording the ride. Tonight I stopped at the gate to open it up, and again the Strava app stopped recording the ride.   With any pause in movement, it appears to finish the ride.

I’ve noticed that in the activity feed, sometimes the activity shows the elapsed time, and other times it shows the moving time.For example, last weekend and this weekend I did bike rides with similar distance and elevation. On both rides I even got a new PR for my longest distance. However, last weekend the feed showed the moving time, while this weekend it displayed the elapsed time.Could you explain why this difference happens, and what determines whether Strava shows elapsed time or moving time in the feed?Could it be related to the fact that this weekend’s ride was a group ride?And finally, is it possible to choose or change which one is displayed?

I am currently seeing dupe activity in Strava that is feeding on into apple health. i see my Runna run and also a standalone run for each run.  Doubling up.  Hilariously one of these runs tells me I am running with… myself. i run with Runna going on my phone and apple’s native tracking on my watch. what can I switch up here?  When I tried running with Runna on my watch, it failed to track me on gps for half the run and didn’t give me any in ear coaching.  When I switched off native on my watch I got no heart rate data? anyone got hints on how to make this work?

Hello,I would like to use my new Zepp watch to record my activities and then upload them to Strava.The instructions read for step 3: Tap unlink...I am unable to find the unlink button.I’m not that technically inclined. Can someone help me find the ‘unlink’ button please?   Ps: Here are the full instructions. I got stuck at step 3:Here's how to set up Amazfit's activity data sync to Strava:From the Zepp app, select Profile from the top right icon. Select 3rd-party account linking and then select Strava on the next page. Tap Unlink and you'll be prompted to log into your Strava account. Select Sign up if you don't already have a Strava account. Enable the option to "Upload your activities from Zepp to Strava" and select Authorize. Once the apps are connected, successfully synced activities will automatically be pushed to your Strava account.

I've tried using the stava app on my OnePlus 3 watch, both times the distance logged is incorrect. The last outing says I only rowed 6m although the maps certainly shows I've rowed more and my friend who's also rowed with me seems to have the correct distance. Have I set my preferences incorrectly? Anyone has this issue and can help?

I recently had my athlete capacity increase request approved.At first time, the athletes allows is 999.Currently, I have 989 connected athletes.I emailed the Strava team to request a higher limit and was advised to submit a new request.After submitting again, the request was approved — but the capacity still shows only 999 athletes.Could someone from Strava please confirm if this is expected behavior? If a full increase is not possible right now, would it at least be possible to raise the limit slightly (for example, beyond 999) so our users are not blocked?

Huawei Health smimming time doesn't match with Strava when data is synchronized. The activity time matches but pace data differ. Strava adds additional time thus showing slower pace. Does anyone know about this issue?

I have built and tested an app to monitor rowing performance data for my club. However, the app is limited to 1 athlete (i.e. me as. the test subject). I can’t find a link/button which would let me apply for “production status” for my app so that multiple users can use it. Any ideas?

Hey all, I’ve been paying for a subscription since early August through Apple subscriptions, but the issue is that this isn’t reflected on my account in the app. It still tells me to upgrade, and my support ticket has gone unanswered for two weeks.. After doing some investigation, it looks like the subscription was applied to an old account of mine that was created through the Apple sign in option. The account I use now was created through the FB sign in option.Is there any way this can be remedied?

So I have been seeing this issue which started about 2 months back. Basically, when I upload a third party app generated GPX ride file to Strava (manually), strava forgets about my manually selected bike. I could see the bike show up in my ride acitivity page but give it 1 minute and a web page fresh would have my ride set to no bike selected. I have been editing my rides recently to make sure the selected bike sticks. It is pretty annoying. No discussions I saw online talk about this. Strava support told me they have no solution to that and I should ask in the community. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m not getting the “Strava Power Skills” feature on my Android app.  Just uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still no Power Skills.  How do I get it.  (I’m subscribed and have subscribed for many years. All rides the past 6 years have had PMs.)

So, I’ve noticed a new “feature” when recording a biking session on the iWatch.  And I can’t figure out how to turn it off.  Help please!When I start recording a biking session from my iWatch for the first little bit everything is good with the display (watch face).  I can look down and see my distance, speed, etc.  But after a while this new screen shows up that says something to the effect of, “we’ll show you your data when you are completing a known segment” (it’s not exactly this -- I don’t stop to look).  I can get back to the “normal” screen by swiping up or down (can never recall), except when I have gloves on like this morning.  This “feature” is driving me crazy.  It’s really a safety issue -- who wants to be fiddling with their watch WHILE THEY ARE BIKING.  Strava, give me a way to turn this off!

I am trying to add a URL that can be clicked/tapped to my bio. The URL link will show in the bio, but it doesn't show as a hyperlink that can be tapped. I'm confused because Strava has said that links are supported again, but I've tried multiple ways and nothing works. Any help here? Thanks.

Since around 18 September 2025 I’ve noticed a drastic decrease in Relative Effort calculation.This leads to my Fitness & Freshness graph saying I’m much fresher than reality and it will also go down significantly week after week.I’ve seen the recent HR zones update and I barely changed my zones, so that shouldn’t be the reason.Any idea how it’s possible? I run quite some PR segments today, but almost none has been recognized with PR icon. There is few 3rd places icons missing as well. I can't create routes anymore because the tour planner is constantly having problems, it doesn't capture road points, and it wastes time. It is impossible to create a normal route. I recently had to change the app to create routes, but it makes no sense to be a subscriber and not be able to create my own routes. Does this happen to you too?

Hello riders 😀 !There's a suspicious rider cheating his way to KOM's by mainpulating gpx files & editing them through 3rd party or web to change his segment time for the KOMs.here are my points to back up my claim.1> Riders taken back to back 9 koms with in 13 days on climbs ranging 3-12% average gradient, no recovery , no rest between high intensity efforts & no structural training is there.2> No use of any sensors , no clipless shoes only flat sports shoes are used,the pictures never match the time of the ride & expressions never justify the high intensity efforts.3> On analysing gpx files through web, riders data never matches with other riders data on the leader board, the online gpx tool exports gpx reports as PDF for everyone who's on the leaderboard but his report comes as a PHP file.4> Rider has  an obsession with being at number 1 one the board and almost every ride is a KOM ride. I am using a polar pacer watch to track my runs. Then I sync it with Strava. surprisingly the data does not match btw polar and Strava. If synching I am assuming that the data from polar is basically just pushed to Strava - so basically a copy paste of the data from polar. But this is not the case and the Strava data shows different pace per km which is really weird. i don’t have my mobile with me during the run - only my polar watch. So I wonder what is happening there on Strava? see some pictures.  can someone help understand?

like hiking, trail run, backcountry skiing.  this should then factor into relative effort, especially for ascending and descending.  heart rate is not everything and does not adequately reflect work that muscles perform, especially anaerobically.   

I have a Galaxy Fit 3. I have been running outside and I works perfectly; but when I run inside on a treadmill an choos treadmill for the workout on my Galaxy Fit; Stava does not pick up this workout. I thouct I had a problem with the connection between Samsung Health and Strava, but today I was running outside again at all worked as it sound. So why does Strava not pick up the workout from Samsung Health when I use treadmill in the Helth app?

For some reason for most of the day I cant publish in any clubs. When I tap publish it doesn't even let what I wrote publish. It's a weird and frustrating glitch that you guys could look into please and thank you

Why there is still not padel activity but pickleball yes??There is like 30 milions players all around world and still not activity…. 

So after following 70 people by accident back to back strava won't let me follow anyone anymore everytime I tap follow it says an error encounterd with the strava servers. And the weird thing it i only had a total of 123 following people. Can you please respond and tell me how to fix this it's been going on for nearly 2 days were I corn follow and one please and thank you.
