Hi! My polar flow app doesnt sync with my strava. I don't know what happen because everything was okay last week.I see polar flow connection at the Strava website (my apps) but I can't see anything in my Strava app at my devices. Can you help what happened and why? Can you help me with solution? I've uninstalled Strava, installed it again, restarted my phone and refreshed Strava. Still not syncing. 

This past week my strava widget showing my weekly total has been a blank black square. Is this happening to anyone else? I see on the community thread this was previously marked as “resolved,” but it is not! SOS.

Hi,  I have the free version of the app.  I prefer to see my average (AVG) speed when I walk/run/faint.  Until today, as shown above,  the app would display my "AVG SPEED" (just above 3.6) while I walked.  I try to maintain this speed.  Today, as shown above, the app displays my live SPEED as I walked (above 3.6..no more AVG SPEED). Does anyone know how I can get the AVG SPEED to be constantly displayed instead of my live SPEED?  Thank you 

I was a little surprised that so much of my training was in Z2 when I expected more in Z1. However, upon further, investigation there seems to be something very wrong with the algorithm calculating time in each zone. I edited my HR zones several times, including making the Z2 range 175-176bpm (should be a very small amount of time spent at such a small & high range) and and no matter what it said I spent around 44 hours in Z2. It is mathematically impossible for me to spend 66% of my time at 175-176bpm and 67% of my time at 144-157bpm (see screenshots).  

Today, I started a recording session and confirmed that Strava was showing my starting heart BPM on my phone.  I put my phone in my pocket.  3.5 miles later, at my halfway point, I took my phone out of my pocket and instructed Google to take a screenshot, which captured my then current BPM.  A few seconds later, I saw the BPM display go to ZERO.This is not the first time I have experienced Strava losing the connection to my chest band, so I expected to see the BPM data from only the first half of the activity.  But when I completed the full activity and got home and looked at the data, I saw that I have completely LOST ALL the recorded BPM data.I don’t even see half of it as I expected.How can Strava lose 50% of an activities heart data?Is this a new Strava feature?

I’m building a personal comment automation tool using the Strava API.The app is for personal use only, designed to automatically post my own annual mileage data as a comment on my activities. I have confirmed that my access token includes “ [scope] => read,activity:write,activity:read_all,profile:write,profile:read_all,read_all”, and I am attempting to post a short comment to my own activity using the endpoint:`POST /api/v3/activities/{activity_id}/comments` However, I consistently receive a `401 Authorization Error`, and the response does not include any explanation or error details. Could anyone confirm whether comment posting via API is allowed for my app, or if there are any restrictions I should be aware of?

Lately when I try to create a route starting from the neighborhood road in front of my house, it automatically jumps the route onto the nearby golf course cart path. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?  

After changing the title, strava displays entirely different type of data: moving time changes to elapse time, pace (important in rowing) is gone and cannot be displayed at all. I don’t change anything except the title. Does any one have any similarexperience?

Seeing some very weird anomalies lately with mapping: In the first image, this was a short, 6 mile run that was saved.  Upon returning to my saved routes, not only did it save a Trans-Atlantic run - the distance was way short.     In the second image, there is a missing “link” between the street and the path (not the issue).  To navigate this, I switched to manual mode and clicked on the path.  A wormhole opened and added 12409.62 miles to my run - a bit further than I’d hoped on this route.  In reality, this was probably no more than 10 yards.  This has happened on numerous occasions both in manual and automatic mapping mode where waypoints that should be about a mile add hundred or thousands of miles.   I have run into several occasions lately where maps will “spin” on updating and become unresponsive.  It’s happened about 3-4 times in the past couple weeks.  Not a huge deal on short runs but kind of annoying when I was 17 miles into mapping my long run and had to redo the whole thin

For the past few weeks Strava has randomly been categorising some of my bike rides as Mountainbike Rides.  Each time I have to answer comments from friends and have to go in and change the category.  I asked Strava how to stop this and they couldn’t/wouldn’t help.  Anyone know how to stop it happening?

Hello, hoping to find support.I’m a premium subscriber, I have set my FTP, age, weight, … in my profile. All data is being open and shared according to the settings. I mainly do indoor cycling with Power (Wahoo Kickr Bike Shift) intervals. When opening my ‘Best Efforts’ on my Strava mobile app, it mentions ‘Only you can see your power data’. While the setting is actually set to publicly available. Additionally, I don’t see the new Power Skills graph in my progess tab. Is it related to the mention of the visibility of my power data? 

Hello everyone,I'm new to the forum, I'm 27 years old, and after years of inconsistent training I've started training seriously again.I am also new to the Strava universe, and I am here to ask for your help regarding the Apple Watch app.I installed the app on both iPhone and Watch, but when I launch the app from the latter, the message "From your phone, sign in or sign upusing the Strava app." but nothing appears in the iPhone and the screen remains frozen.I followed the installation procedure I found on the forum, activating all permissions and syncing the Watch from the iPhone, however, it seems that it is not recognized.I thank you in advance for you help! 🙂

 Hello,  I’m participating in the Rouvy Mallorca challenge and this last week’s route has some egregious KOMs from someone who rode an elevation faked 90 mile route with dozens of KOMs making the whole thing aggressively downhill under the purpose of “sight seeing”. Unfortunately one particular user keeps clearing flags and happily takes about “his KOMs” despite apparently being able to sustain 44+ mph up 6+ grades for minute after minute (all thanks to the gradient faking). I have flagged multiple times and he just clears them over and over despite the obviously faked ride. I’m wondering if there’s a way for Strava to clear this up since upon checking Rouvy there are a bunch of these elevation faked routes. Can the new cheating algorithm identify when the activity elevation profile doesn’t match the activity at all? I’ve actually ridden this route (leaving my ride hidden to avoid messing with segments) so you can see below how egregious it looks with that gradient overlaid on a 5.9% c

The search function in “My Activities” is worthless. I put in a town/city name and it returns lots of rides that don’t have that town/city name in the title or the ride even when through that town, and more often than not doesn’t find rides that DO have that town/city name in them.

I somehow clicked okay to move to use of a one-time password to log in, but it is less convenient and requires more steps.   how do I switch back?  There is no longer an option to change password in settings, only change email -- and I want to keep the same email.Thanks

In my training zone, it will display at what time my recent training heart rate is (the last week, one month, three months). However, after I updated my heart rate zone in the upper right corner, the corresponding time has not changed and remains the same as before

Hi,I´m using `${STRAVA_API_URL}/clubs/${clubId}/group_events` where const STRAVA_API_URL = "https://www.strava.com/api/v3";It seems that the id of some of the club events is obfuscated and the last digits are replaced with zeroes, so that e.g. 3393591506183906380 becomes 3393591506183906300 in the result JSON.Why is this error introduced? 

with the new version of strava - while on a run, the screen defaults to map view with key HR, pace and distance all minimised at the bottom of the screen, making it impossible to read while on the move. is there a setting change i have to make? haven’t found one so far!!! so annoying.

Is it possible to revert to the previous sharing layout? The new one is too disproportionate, at least an option to choose the font size would be useful. I've been taking screenshots instead of using the share option. NEW LAYOUT OLD LAYOUT 

Hello, I currently use a Pixel Watch 2 to track activities. While it works great for walks runs and bike rides, it can't do much else. For example, when walking, running, or biking, speed and distance and gps map are all okay. However, when I try and track anything else (Inline Skate and kayak) the speed is always super super low and the distance is way less than it should be.For example, a friend would go inline skating with me and their speed would be around 7 mph and mine is always stuck at ~1-2 mph. My distance is always super low as well. But when we walk or bike the tracking is just fine.Dont really understand what's going on and why some activities just don't work and walking and biking do very well. I could just use the biking category to track everything but I like the different categories.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. Please help or resolve the issue, I really enjoy the UI and tools of strava. Thanks !

Ever since the update a few weeks ago with the new fonts and stuff, when I try to look at the map it just flashes randomly making it very difficult to zoom in or move around or see anything. This only happens in the Maps page, not the Record page. I never had an issue before this. UPDATE FROM STRAVA: Thanks for posting about this and sorry for the trouble. Our Team is aware of these issues and is currently investigating. We don’t currently have an estimated time of resolution and we ask for your patience while we look into this.

Hi, I haven’t found any similar bug report so I hope I’m not reporting something already known. For a few weeks (since I upgraded to the latest release of strava in July’25 I believe) it has become impossible to follow a route (Mountain Bike). I can upload my route and start following/recording but after some time the recording starts lagging more and more behind my actual position and eventually the app displays an error message and reinitializes, losing all the positions since the point between the latest recorded position and my actual position, and stopping displaying the route. Then the problem occurs again every 5 to 10 minutes, and each time I have to reload the route.I have tried everything I could : reinstalling the app, rebooting the phone before using the app, closing/deactivating other apps to make sure only strava was running, but nothing seems to fix the problem. However I have tried using in parallel another app like outdooractive or openrunner for route following while
