My Fitbit refuses to send heart rate data to Strava. I can see the heart rate data in the fitbit app but it will not come through to Strava. Any suggestions? I’ve checked the settings on the fitbit app and HR data is allowed to go through.

Hello @Eric_FL

Thanks for your post.

I recommend checking to see if you’ve granted Strava consent to process and store your health-related data which includes heart rate data. If you'd like Strava to collect and process health data for future activities you can change your permission settings before your next upload. Unfortunately, our team won't be able to add health-related data back to any activities uploaded while Strava did not have permission to store this data.

Let us know that helps.

I'm having this issue too and my Strava is already set to allow consent to process & store health related data. I've also confirmed that both strava and Fitbit are connected to each other both ways. Very frustrating

Strava only excepts HR data with GPS.  So to import into strava you have to start the activity on FitBit App (which will add the GPS data) and then it will sync from fitbit app.

Its a bumer beacuse I like to use strava maps and beacon feature.  Its extra work to remeber to have both active and then deleteing the strava version.  when they sync
