Every time a Garmin activity is synced with Strava I get a notification saying "Kudos" "Wow" "Another activity down" and stuff like that. I have turned off the push notifications so I don't get them on my phones notification area, but that doesn't stop the notification icon in the app and website telling me I have new notifications.

This means that if I ever get any real notification then I just won't see it because of all the spam, making the notification icon on the website and app completely useless.

I have looked through all the settings but can't find anywhere to customise what notifications are enabled.

Hey @adamf,
For in app (bell icon) notifications, unfortunately there isn't a way to disable these notifications.

When will the option to disable useless notifications be available?

Hey @jaymann,

Unfortunately, I can't provide a timeline of when a change will be implemented.
However, I do hope to see this change soon as there are many that share the same sentiment as yourself.

Hey @Bryant,

I was having an Apple Watch and there there is setting to upload into Strava your activities as I want to track even short activities without having them uploaded to Strava. Can you open up discussion with Garmin to set such setting. That would be AWESOME!

@Bryant There's another thread here with 63 Kudos, and replies from many people who don't like this "feature".

How many more unhappy people do you need, before someone takes notice??

Why? No one wants these and the add nothing of any value. It’s stupid things like this that stop me from re-subscribing

This is the single most annoying thing about the Strava app.

PLEASE just disable these automatic messages, they provide zero value. I know i just finished an activity, i do not need a notice telling me.
