Where is the compass, now?

Since the new map, I can't find the compass to set the north up. Where is it now?

Strava saved routes won't load on iOS

I want to download a route to an iPhone for use when offline. I have done this before on this particular device. However, now when I go into my Saved Routes, I see the list of routes, but none of them will open when I select them. Nothing happens when selecting any of the routes. I can go into record and select a saved route and it opens, but if I'm offline, this won't work. Any suggestions?

Activity Feed Delay: Significant Lag in Updates Since Monday

Since Monday, I’ve noticed a significant delay (about 2–3 hours) in the appearance of activities in the feed. This affects both the activities of people I follow and my own activities appearing on others’ feeds. Strava status showing no abnormalities, this issue seems widespread, as people who usually receive tones of kudos are experiencing delays as well - they simply start to get any kudos later as well. Activities eventually appear in chronological order, suggesting a possible delay in server processing. The issue persists regardless of whether activities are uploaded via Garmin or Zwift. Interestingly, when accessing someone’s profile or club feed, the updates are live and function as expected. Location: Europe

Activity not popping up in other people's feed

Today I won my first race. Unfortunately, I can’t show this off to other people (the main purpose of social media of course), because it is not appearing in their feed. I asked a friend if he could see my activity and he could, but he had to specifically search it and nothing popped up on his feed. Btw: my warming-up appears, my cooling down not. Any solution? Thanks.

I’ve noticed the last few Saturdays (maybe other days too) that my activity feed isn’t updated with many of my friends activities. So weird. Anyone notice the same thing?

New route filters on app - only 20 results showing

Hi there. I’ve just noticed that routes on the Android app now have filters for saved routes which is excellent and very welcome. I am only able to see 20 results from a filter search however and they are listed in the order that i created them, most recent first. I can also no longer see a full list of my routes if I have applied no filters, only 20, most recently created first. Although I am very satisfied with the new filters, I feel that only being able to see 20 results at a time is very limiting. I would rather have a full list of routes with no filters than only being able to see 20. I have unistalled/reinstalled the app and logged out/logged in again.

how to change back to email/password login from the One Time Login code

I somehow clicked okay to move to use of a one-time password to log in, but it is less convenient and requires more steps. how do I switch back? There is no longer an option to change password in settings, only change email -- and I want to keep the same email. Thanks

Request for Refund – Accidental Subscription Charge

can i request a refund for a mistaken subscription charge on my account. I accidentally subscribed to a one-year plan, and the payment was auto-deducted without my notice. Unfortunately, I used my school allowance for this transaction, and I am currently in urgent need of the funds!!!!

Why is ‘crop activity’ option not displaying any more?

After I updated my Strava app a few days ago, I can no longer find the ‘crop activity’ option in the usual ellipsis menu. I need to use it on a recent activity where I forgot to stop before I went for a drive (face palm). Unfortunately, I forget to end Strava activities quite often, so I need to use this function a few times a year! I’ve tried on site and app and no luck yet. Anyone know how to do this now?

Strava shows incorrect moving time

My Garmin device shows different elapsed time and moving time for my indoor activities, but Strava shows the same elapsed time and moving time. That's annoying. I'd like to have the actual moving time shown on strava.

How to change emailadress

Hi all, I don't know where to put this question. So, here i go: So i want to buy Strava Premium. I bought for 70 euro's on Google Pay. What is didn't see, that my Google Pay and Strava-mail don't match. Now i got 70 euro's on a different mailadres and no Premium. Can i change the e-mailadres on strava what is connected to Google Pay or am i doomed to make a whole new strava account?

Turning off the new pop-up prompts to edit title / share activity?

Hi, the latest updates of the iOS app have some added automation which seems to try to be helpful, but, please, how can I disable that? 😬 First - making a screenshot of activity details triggers a sharing screen (where you can save an image of the map or the activity photo with stats). I understand it might make sense in some use cases, but if I'm taking a screenshot of the splits, elevation graph or pretty much anything in the activity details, I really do not want the sharing screen to pop up and hide the details that I want to capture. Second - once opening a newly imported activity, a "quick edit" dialogue pops up immediately prompting to rename the activity etc. But it's too simplified and doesn't include all the options (such as: shoes), so I always just close it and open the actual Edit mode. The "quick edit" is just a distracting and frustrating step. If anything needs to be automated this way, then perhaps why not opening the newly imported activity in the Edit mode right awa

How to remove/mute "motivational" messages from Strava

Since a few weeks ago Strava is at it again with pushing "features" down your throat. Now among the notifications for an activity I have to read Strava's stupid "motivational" messages (you're doing great, keep at it, da da da). Anyone can help me get rid of those?

Starred segments not show on the map

Strava map view with segments filtered to “starred” is not showing anything (I have only a few of them). (Regardless if these segments are public or private.) Actually any filter except “All” does not show anything...

Route Creator Enhancement Idea: Factor in Heatmap

I'd like a route wizard, or similar, that looks at my PERSONAL heatmap and helps me find new, ideal (low traffic) paved roads I haven't already been on as shown on the heatmap. Ability to select a % of already-ridden roads allowed on the route makes sense to me since it's unlikely not to have overlap. Anyone else have this wanderlust desire for simplicity?

what are these weird heatmap anomalies?

I noticed in the global heatmap in new york city, if you set the sports to “all sports” there weird squares all over the place. they are especially prominent if you set it specifically to “all cycle sports” or just “ride” only. they are perfectly north-south oriented, and are 0.25x0.25 miles (or 1 mile in circumference) it does not take much to tell that there are no such routes that exist in the city. so what causes these? I’m also wondering if it’s just on my side..

email/password login on M%ac is utterly frustrating!

I have accepted the One time Code option on my smartphone, but this totally messes up my login on a browser on my Mac! I use a password manager, so email/password for me is working fine, but not at STRAVA, where they stubbornly want me to enter a one time code EVERY TIME!!! I use STRAVA regularly on my browser, as this is a lot easier to work on maps and routes. I hope this super enoying “feature” will resiolved fast. I checked some of the responses, but I am not interested in using my Google or Facebook account.

Strava map disappearing

Hi, Strava map query here: as of lately, when I click on the map recorded by Wahoo/Strava, all I get is my 'naked' route, ie just the outlines of my route but no background map at all to click on and enlarge, so no option to home in on the 'real' map to go over where I've been. Yikes. Am I going wrong somewhere, or is this Strava's naff idea of an update?!?

Fitness score is a bit misleading

The fitness score/ graph is more like a training load score or effort score. It tracks the strain you're putting on your body, but doesn't account for things like efficiency, speed, or how well you’re adapting to that load. Calling it a "fitness score" is definitely a misnomer, especially when it doesn't accurately reflect your actual fitness improvements. My score has gone down 20% in the past 45 days even though I'm doing similar milage as at my peak, I've just gotten more efficient. So technically, the decrease in "fitness" is actually an increase. It’d be much more helpful if it were framed as something more specific, like training strain or load tracking, so users wouldn’t mistake it for a true measure of fitness. But for now, it’s really more about the volume and effort of your training than your actual fitness progress. Thoughts?

Missing Segments in created Route

Hello, after repeated evasive replies from support, I'm trying my luck here. I'm having a problem creating Routes from Activities. Or in general, if I create a Route on any course there are always less segments attached to this Route than there are available when riding the course.For example I use this activity https://www.strava.com/activities/9052590815 with 11 segments. If I create Route out of this activity there are only 3 segments attached to that Route as seen here: https://www.strava.com/routes/3113035808400641468.Since for Live Segments feature used on Garmin devices the Route must be created in Strava and all segments must be packed together with the Route to actually work correctly, this bug makes this feature almost useless. I definitely cannot be the only one struggling with this. Any suggestion or ETA would be great either from Strava or from the community.Thanks in advance for the advice and discussions.
