Strava Features Chat

When I log in the dashboard, activity feed is just completely blank. I've tried clearing cache, cookies, logging out and in and even tried another browser and it's the same, the page just doesn't load (see screenshot). It's been like this for a week now and is becoming quite frustrating, i basically can't use Strava now I’ve then been to try to submit a support request, and the support request system is also not working properly for me, so now I have no idea what to do or who to contact (does anybody from Strava monitor these posts?)

Ive noticed recently that on my list of activities on the Android app and the site on PC that my ski and snowboard elevation data has either disappeared completely or been wildly inaccurate if the data was recorded with a garmin watch, however any of the data recorded with the app on my phone hasn't been affected.Strangely enough once I click into the activity on the app the correct elevation is still present (see attached image). Has anyone experienced this/is there a known fix?Watches used were a garmin vivoactive 4 and garmin instinct 2x 

Is there a way to remove the annoying animations with silly motivational messages that appear when saving an activity? These have recently appeared on the Android app.

I wish I could track both my running shoes and my custom insoles as separate gear for mileage. I may switch my insoles to other running shoes, so the mileage will never equate to a single show gear milage. The current menu item is radio buttons so you can only select a single gear on a run. 

The amount of calories burned when I choose squash is vastly different from when I choose workout. For the same level of activity, if I choose “workout”, I burn 800 calories but if I choose “squash”, I burn 500 calories. I’ve uploaded my heart rate data to other platforms and figured that the “workout” mode is more accurate. Can you please fix this for “squash”?

It seems that activities tagged with "Commute" are not taken into account in the elevation and distance statistics? Do yo confirm? It sounds like a bug to me?

When I go to the the map and i want to choose backcountry ski is not in the list, any ski related sport is not on the list.

Love Strava, so thanks for the work you do.There’s a really annoying bug which I’ve been aware of for months now:On the profile (when using the web app), in the weekly mileage section with the header “Activities for 9 Jun 2025 - 15 Jun 2025,” where it shows the weekly mileage in a sort of bar chart, the bar chart doesn’t update if you run on Sunday. It only updates on the Monday. Annoys me (and I’m sure others), because it’s nice to end a week of training and be able to see that you’ve hit your weekly mileage target.Thanks,Chris

Would it be possible to add Volleyball as a sport?

recently the maps changed from showing street names, to some streets just showing numbers. I have tried zooming in and the names still won’t show. Is there any way to go back to the old maps that show the names?  

I signed up for Strava thinking I was going to have access to training plans but now I see that I need to pay even more to access training plans. So, what perks are left worth the money for just the Strava subscription? Can’t be the chat. There are countless running community pages on Facebook and Reddit that are free. Can’t be the routes. RunGo has countless routes on their free version. So what’s good anymore about this app?

So on the Android Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, when i start an activity, i can see ALL activies, basically my own Heatmap.  I have been using Strava for more than 12 + years or so.  But why is it that i cannot see ALL my activities on the desktop version of Strava.I like to create new routes in new areas i have not been in, but when i am on the desktop version of Strava it only shows me one type at a time.  For example, i can see ALL hikes, on the map, but not all Hikes, Bike Rides, Runs, Trail Runs, and Walks at once.  I can see those on my phone but not on the desktop version when i am trying to create a new route and want to see all of the places i have been.  So it means i have to have multiple windows of Strava open at once just to fine tune a route (I have been to a lot of the bay area over the course of the last 12+ years.

Hi Strava community,I am pretty new to running, only starting in April of this year. I have made many silly mistakes so far, but the biggest (tracking wise) has been using the Run-GPS when using a treadmill. I did this for about 2 weeks before realizing the impact it had. I’d like these runs to not count towards my PBs/PRs but still be in my activity feed/overall totals. I have seen a few options from my searches such as flagging them, or changing them to ‘workouts’ instead of ‘runs’, but I’m concerned it would mess with my numbers. So, please let me know what would be the best course to keep my mileage and number of runs, but exclude these from my personal bests.Thanks so much!

Hi All,I am new in this forum I am looking for assistance that will allow me to sync my daily step count from my Garmin Connect App to Strava App. I can sync my activities and steps taken during the activity, but I want to track my daily steps which will give me total distance covered in a day as I can see these stats in Garmin Connect App.Thank you in advance.

When importing an IFIT workout from my Nordictrack treadmill, no elevation stats show up.  When imported into other programs, such as RUNNA and Training Peaks, the elevation does show.  Why is this data not showing in Strava?

Both supported by Apple & GoogleFit, Strava should map these sport types appropriately (instead of generic workout).

My Fitbit refuses to send heart rate data to Strava. I can see the heart rate data in the fitbit app but it will not come through to Strava. Any suggestions? I’ve checked the settings on the fitbit app and HR data is allowed to go through.

The email didn’t say that I had to anything different than just record an activity. I have recorded two ski days and all of the chair lift data is in my stats. Has anyone else tried this new feature and how did you get it to work?Sounds like a great feature and am excited to see how it works.ThanksPlan, Track, & Share Your Winter Activities

I’ve been training consistently for a couple of years now. Over the last few months, my Relative Efforts have decreased significantly, even though I am training at about the same level, both in terms of duration and intensity of workouts in any given week. As an example, long runs in January/February were about RE 90, whereas now in July they are RE 40-50 at a similar pace and heart rate on the same routes. At the same time, my Fitness score is steadily decreasing. From 75 in early March, it’s decreased week on week to 35 today. Again, I am training at about the same level as I always have. Last week, for example, I did hard intervals, strength & conditioning and a couple of long runs. My training is varied and no week looks exactly the same as another. In the middle of this “decline”, I got significant 5k and 10k personal bests in May/June, after achieving a half marathon best in March. Most importantly, I don’t feel as though my fitness and form is decreas

When trying to start an instant workout in iOS app, nothing happens. The “Let’s go” button seems to do nothing. I’ve seen other people on Reddit face the same problem but no information how to solve it.
