Hi,  Everytime I try to post on Instagram I’m getting a black image. This hasn’t ever happened before, and would post normally just fine as it’s displayed with a white background. I’ve tried to clear cache, unistall apps and redownload, but still running into the same issue. I am using a Google Pixel 4 Watch and Google Pixel 10 phone. 

Hey Strava Team, please add a new workout type category “Full contact sports” or “Martial/Combat Sports”, e.g.: Full Contact Sports• Boxing• Kickboxing• Olympic Wrestling• … I am an enthusiastic Strava User - for sure not the only one - and use it as a central tool to keep track of my workouts, including cycling, running, and also kickboxing, which is not listed yet, through the workout type “Workout”.best, Lukas

Auto pause is not enough. Look at how the Stride app implemented this feature. When I forget to turn off a run, it logs activity indefinitely! That is terrible! Stride asks me when I pause driving if my drive is complete. That is a no brainer feature for Strava. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ended a run, but forgot to end in Strava. So, then I get erroneous activity that lasts for 24+ hours. That is a terribly overlooked feature.

Hola, equipo de Strava. Les escribo para dejar una queja y sugerencia sobre cómo se muestran las estadísticas en el perfil de usuario. Entiendo perfectamente que las actividades de "Bicicleta eléctrica" tengan sus propias clasificaciones y segmentos separados de las bicicletas tradicionales para mantener la justicia en los KOMs. Sin embargo, a nivel de perfil personal, es muy frustrante que los kilómetros y el desnivel no se acumulen en un total unificado. Como usuario que entrena en rodillo virtual, bicicleta tradicional y bicicleta eléctrica, me gustaría poder ver mi volumen de entrenamiento total acumulado en una sola gráfica principal, sin tener que entrar a filtrar manualmente por tipo de bicicleta. Debería existir una vista de "Ciclismo Global" en el perfil para nuestro propio control de la carga de entrenamiento. Un saludo.

Can i have a refund. It deduct automatically in my gcash account. I have so many bills now to pay but strava automatically deducted.

Strava keeps telling me I need to give it location access to record. I do this in the app and it makes no difference. I've given every permission I can from my phone. Other apps work fine. Any suggestions? Phone is an oppo neo find x3

First off: apologies if this belongs elsewhere. I found a Strava article about how to post ideas, but it seems out of date, because I can't find any of the pages/buttons mentioned. With that out of the way: I recently saw some segments where the record holder is listed as completing the segment at average pace X min/km. Then, looking at the details of their segment attempt, it was clear that their actual pace was way lower (Y min/km). Upon looking at their recorded track, it was clear they turned around after 70-80% of the segment. It seems Strava matched their partial segment to the complete one, and then calculated their average pace as “their time on this segment” / “actual segment distance". It was obvious that the pace “their time on this segment” / “distance of their recording on this segment” was very different. My suggestion is to use this latter as a filter for mismatched segments. Hi Strava PeopleI’d like to see walk/run intervals listed as a Sport option in Strava.I’m sure many athletes would use this option regularly and would be grateful if it were available.  Athletes like me, recovering from injury or training for distance by using walk/run intervals to build strength and stamina.  I’d like the heart rate and distances recorded for all the walk and run components of a single walk/run interval activity.  This would help me track my injury recovery and the progress I’m making towards my running distance goals.Kind RegardsEliza 

Hello, Strava dev’ team!Since Jan., 2026 the very usefull 50K monthly challenge has vanished, having been replaced with 100,000 steps, which is a measure that’s not usefull for many users, nor applicable to many cellphones or watches that don’t record steps. Let alone the fact it’s not a standardized unit of measure. For instance, my own steps may vary greatly depending on my pace and terrain (shorter uphill, longer downhill unless terrain becomes steep and/or technical).Please bring this challenge back, as many of us make walking one of our most practiced physical activities!Kind regards,F.

Hello (again), Strava dev’ team,Whenever i click on my profile photo to access my Strava phone app’s “This week” activity board (which spans the 12 most recent weeks), i face two disapointments:1.) Firstly, i’d love to access to a cumulative report of the total of kms i’ve walked during any given recent week, combining walk AND trek activities (and any other walking activities for that matter). This very useful feature DOES already exist for all types of running or cycling activities, including trail and gravel. But not for walking...2.) Secondly, when i click on the “Statistics” section just below the distance/time graph, i consistently see a “swimming” icon on the right of the cycling and running ones. While i do cycle and run most weeks, i almost never swim, yet i usually walk 50–150 kms per month, on top of intensive callisthenics and summer kayaking. Therefore i’d love to b

It would be great to have a way of locking out touch input during activities so that, for example, sweat dripped on the screen would not stop rides or otherwise trigger the UI. 

Why is this happening? I tried everything but nothing worked can u help me please

I am trying to create a route of the East Coast Greenway.  I go to that map tool and export a gpx file for a route that is roughly 442 miles long. When I upload that file into Strava it creates a route that is 1175 miles long, looping back to the start point and hitting the end point twice.  It also isn’t following the roads, it simply takes straight lines between 2 points.

In March 2026 (recently) I did a ride with about 30 minutes of threshold/anaerobic effort in two intervals. I felt this ride was very similar to one I did in May 2025, with also nearly 30 minutes of threshold/anaerobic also in about two intervals. Both rides based RE on heart rate only (no power data).The Mary 2025 ride received a 129 RE score and got me 2 “fitness points”. Hello, I’d like to combine different activities into one. For example, at the gym: 1. Treadmill (warm-up), 2. Strength training, 3. Treadmill (cool-down). Right now, I have to record these individually, which means they appear as three separate activities in the feed. It would be better if I could merge a workout session with three activities into one, so that only one activity is displayed in the feed. Is it possible to program and offer such a feature? Strava really needs to add equestrian sports as “Sport”.Right now we have to log rides as “Workout” or “Other,” even though Strava is already tracking distance, time, elevation, and GPS. The problem is it’s not categorized correctly, so the data isn’t that useful, and even workouts aren’t being tracked or represented accurately.There are a ton of riders already using Strava (trail riding, endurance, training, even disciplines like dressage and barrel racing) so it feels like a pretty obvious gap.If they added equestrian as a sport, it would instantly make the app way more useful for us without them having to build anything new.If you agree, submit a feature request too!! The more people ask, the more likely it actually happens.

Hello,It would be helpful to add the option to group outings by month or even year in the activity log. See the attached file.Currently, it's possible to view our cumulative weekly activities by sport, distance/elevation gain, or other criteria, but you could add these new options to meet all requests.On this page : https://www.strava.com/athletes/xxxx/training/log

Hi!I am an active runner who frequently travels to different neighborhoods and cities to explore new routes and segments on the island. As I’ve starred more segments over time, I’ve found that my "Starred Segments" list has become difficult to manage and navigate.I would love to see a feature that allows users to organize or color-code starred segments by area, city, or custom "folders."The Problem: Currently, all starred segments are in one long list. When I drive to a specific neighborhood to run, I have to scroll through my entire history to find the segments relevant to that specific location. (I try to unstarr and star so it can be arranged by city but it’s tedious)Proposed Solution: Color-Coding: Allow users to assign a color to a starred segment (e.g., Blue for "City A," Red for "City B"). These colors could then appear as different colored stars on the "Maps" tab.

Posting this here as I cannot find the “Ideas” category anymore as in the instructions.As a user, I want to see the selected segment hightlighted in the map and profile of a route or activity regardless of how low in the list the segment is.Segments are highlighted in the route and profile of an activity or saved route. However, if the list of segment is long and the page requires scrolling, the map view is also scrolled up and one cannot see the map anymore when hightliighting a segment.This could be fixed by locking the map and elevation profile view and scrolling the segment list as a separate element.

I have one question and would love to hear your thoughts on it.Would it be possible to introduce Season Records or One‑Year Records in addition to the existing Personal Records?Here’s why: Many active people are getting older, starting families, or simply have less training time. Their all‑time best performances often lie years in the past and are no longer realistically reachable. It would be highly motivating to have seasonal or yearly best achievements—for example on segments or specific activities—clearly visible as well.A dedicated badge or a visually distinct indicator, separate from lifetime Personal Records, would be perfectly sufficient.
