When I start the Android app, wait for the GPS to be found (Green status), presse the start button and then put the screen to sleep with the power button, the activité is well recorded.But if the GPS is not found or weak when I press de start button and then the power button, the activité is not recorded until I wake the screen, which is often when I finish the activity (happens mostly when I am commuting because of the topography).Its happens more since the latest update of the recording interface, a few weeks ago. 

This has just happened to me too many times. It’s a huge disappointment.It goes like this: I stand next to my car and start Strava, it seems fine. I put my phone back into my Camelback or jacket or whatever I’ll be transporting the phone with. As far as I’m concerned, Strava starting recording my activity. It was showing the timer and speed.I pull my pack/garment out of the car and put it on and begin my activity. Today it was a mountain bike ride. I am TRAINING. I want this data! I finish my workout and there is Strava with a little warning dialog saying “Weak GPS signal. Do you still want to record your activity?”DOH! I just finished!!! And I’ve got NOTHING.Pardon me, but this has happened several times in the past 2 weeks. I just renewed my subscription too, because I’m training for a race. Not helpful! And no way for me to know as I left the car that Strava had given up because my phone was in the car for less than a minute.I want a setting in

Love Strava, so thanks for the work you do.There’s a really annoying bug which I’ve been aware of for months now:On the profile (when using the web app), in the weekly mileage section with the header “Activities for 9 Jun 2025 - 15 Jun 2025,” where it shows the weekly mileage in a sort of bar chart, the bar chart doesn’t update if you run on Sunday. It only updates on the Monday. Annoys me (and I’m sure others), because it’s nice to end a week of training and be able to see that you’ve hit your weekly mileage target.Thanks,Chris

Hello,I'm experiencing an issue with the Athlete Intelligence feature in the Strava app. Every time I finish an activity, I receive an error message saying "Oops – something went wrong," and no summary is generated.I’ve already tried restarting the app and resetting it completely, but the problem persists. The feature used to work fine before, so I’m not sure what’s causing this.Could you please look into this or let me know if there’s a known fix?Thank you,  Paweł Ceranowicz

Can we add an option to leave groups you no longer wish to belong to. 

Hi, the latest updates of the iOS app have some added automation which seems to try to be helpful, but, please, how can I disable that? 😬First - making a screenshot of activity details triggers a sharing screen (where you can save an image of the map or the activity photo with stats). I understand it might make sense in some use cases, but if I'm taking a screenshot of the splits, elevation graph or pretty much anything in the activity details, I really do not want the sharing screen to pop up and hide the details that I want to capture. Second - once opening a newly imported activity, a "quick edit" dialogue pops up immediately prompting to rename the activity etc. But it's too simplified and doesn't include all the options (such as: shoes), so I always just close it and open the actual Edit mode. The "quick edit" is just a distracting and frustrating step. If anything needs to be automated this way, then perhaps

Had a look at the new instant workouts but the intervals / tempo and other runs suggest a pace if ~ 2:30 per kilometer. My current best effort is 3:23/km. Why are these target paces so far away of what I could possibly achieve? I have over 900 running activities on Strava spread over 2 years+ of running. Should Strava not base the suggested paces on my previous experience. Happy to put a bit of effort in but what Is suggested is not realistic. Am I missing something?

Activities that use the 3D terrain map type aren’t displaying correctly on the web version of Strava? Logged out and back in, tried incognito mode, and a different browser, but no difference.

Hi All,I know you can crop a run however when I do Parkrun the route goes under a large highway bridge and the distance is too short, not too long. I can't figure out how to add the extra distance into the activity in my Strava app. I have the paid version and can edit in Garmin, just not in Strava. It seems odd to me if this is not possible. Am I missing something?

How do you remove the 3D map as the default map and make the 2D Map the default map. The 3D map does not give the perspective 

I love diving into stats, but if I'm presented with a 'Year of Sport 2025' I'd like it to include the year of 2025, not 11 months and 1 week of it. I've still got a race to do before the end of the year and I'm ramping up my training, but none of that will be captured. What's the point?

Last year the activity display for social media was looking like this :   And now we can have that instead : Way less detail and not really showing anything except stats..That’s just really a downgrade.. come on you guys can do better at Strava’s !

On the mobile app, under Progress there is a recap of the last calendar month. I’m curious if there is a way to get the recap for months older than that.I hadn’t noticed that you could download them until May 2022 and I’d like to have all 12 months of possible.Any help would be appreciated!

Ive noticed recently that on my list of activities on the Android app and the site on PC that my ski and snowboard elevation data has either disappeared completely or been wildly inaccurate if the data was recorded with a garmin watch, however any of the data recorded with the app on my phone hasn't been affected.Strangely enough once I click into the activity on the app the correct elevation is still present (see attached image). Has anyone experienced this/is there a known fix?Watches used were a garmin vivoactive 4 and garmin instinct 2x 

Ever since the update a few weeks ago with the new fonts and stuff, when I try to look at the map it just flashes randomly making it very difficult to zoom in or move around or see anything. This only happens in the Maps page, not the Record page. I never had an issue before this. UPDATE FROM STRAVA: Thanks for posting about this and sorry for the trouble. Our Team is aware of these issues and is currently investigating. We don’t currently have an estimated time of resolution and we ask for your patience while we look into this.

In the last few weeks all my group activities do not display the With other riders. It just suddenly disappeared. Yesterday I rode with 12 riders, and most of them are on Strava and I follow/they follow.  but none of them show. I have deep dived into my settings and cannot see what the issue is. most frustrating.Also, I used to get AI generated ride summaries , and in recent months they also disappeared.

can i request a refund for a mistaken subscription charge on my account. I accidentally subscribed to a one-year plan, and the payment was auto-deducted without my notice. Unfortunately, I used my school allowance for this transaction, and I am currently in urgent need of the funds!!!!

Hi,I just noticed that the Global Heatmap for my area suddenly has lost most of it's color.  It seems as it Strava is now filtering the Global Heatmap more aggressively and areas where previously I could see many routes there are now very few.  I use Strava for planning gravel rides in my area where the maps are not reliable, but without heatmaps I can't tell whether the roads are passable or not.I hope that Strava will dial back the filtering so that roads with fewer rides will also be visible, or provide controls for users to decide how much filtering to apply.-Donald

Whenever I go to the Map section, I can’t look for Gravel rides, even though it says I should be able toI can create one myself, but can only see either road ride, ou mountain bikes rides.Anyone facing the same issue? I have the full subscription. Thanks for your help! 

Hi everyone- my wife and I both use the Strava app rather than a watch to record our walks, and both have the identical up to date versions of Strava app on our iPhones (she has 14 and I have an iPhone SE.) She is unable to see steps when she records a walk- sees distance, time, elevation but not steps, whereas I have steps.i have consulted all the online support articles, followed all the steps regarding linking Strava  to the Health app in iPhone for steps, but none of this seems to make any difference, the issue still prevails.Strava support has suggested I need to add a sensor when I record a walk, but none come up when I try to do that.Has anyone encountered a similar issue and/or can suggest steps required to resolve this, as I’ve tried everything and so far, no joy at all?Thanks and regards Chris

When viewing the Gravel Heatmap, you also see a lot of normal paved roads highlighted. This could be prevented if you could exclude the roads that are also used a lot by a roadbike heatmap. A lot of times it is very difficult to know what the nice gravel roads are in an area because a lot of ‘gravel’ rides are probably also winter rides on asphalt.

Hello, until recently it was possible to show (personal and/or global) heatmaps in the "Maps" and "Record" Mode in the Android App by selecting them in the layer-filter. This selection is still possible, but: although selected, the heatmaps are just not shown in the map! It's broken just for me? Or is that a new bug? Is there any way else to see heatmaps in the Android App apart from viewing a finished activity? (Whichs trace obstructs the heatmap...🙄)Thanks!
