Pixel watch question

Hello. I know this maybe a dumb question but I don't see an answer in here anywhere. I have a pixel watch 2 I use while running. Now I cant find the info but somewhere I thought I read the pace it shows on the watch display is that of the current mile, not the average per mile over the entire running event. My question is does the pace shown on the Strava display on the pixel watch 2 show the average per mile or the current mile pace.  Thanks

Strava shows incorrect moving time

My Garmin device shows different elapsed time and moving time for my indoor activities, but Strava shows the same elapsed time and moving time. That's annoying. I'd like to have the actual moving time shown on strava.

Acitivies PR not showing

Dear Strava community,Since several activities, I no longer see my Segment PRs on the activity overview, both on the mobile App and on the desktop web page.You can find an example below of an old run with PRs showing on the overview.And just today, I did a new segment where I made a PR:And this doesnt appear on the overview, and I cannot find out why. I did check all privacy parameters, made everything public, tried to Refresh Activity Achievements but nothing appear to work. This is quite frustrating as I used to like seeing on the overview when and where I did a PR, now I need to open every segment to see what I did.Do you have any idea what could be wrong and how to fix it?Thank you in advance,Clément

Activity Notes Not Saving

Activity Title / My activity names have changed

I like having my activity distance in the activity title. I just noticed it has now been removed from my activities. For example: My entered title: 2.2k - Easy Neighborhood Run Strava changed to: - Easy Neighborhood Run If I enter as "2.2 - Easy Neighborhood Run" it does not get changed.

Advanced Edit

I note the new "quick upload" feature on Android app.I'd like the option for it always to default to "advanced edit" as I always add additional information not available in the "quick upload." Thanks

Did Strava change the Club-Event function?

We host a weekly clubride with multiple routes on the same date and time. We used to share the links to the routes in the event text plus a link to our rules and guides. Since the weekend Strava keeps deleting all links from the event text. Is there a work-a-round to cover the links from detection or to have a link sektion in the club event form? Cheers Tobias

The training calendar gives the distance travelled for each year. Is there any way you can work out your annual statistics just for one activity type, such as running?

One of the many measures we have taken is filtering links across multiple app surfaces. This was necessary to protect the community from harmful and violating content. Activity feed shortened

Hi folks, Has anyone else noticed that their activity feed history on the website has shortened. I can only view back about a day or so in my feed. I quite often leave it a couple of days and drop in to find out what my friends have been doing in the past few days. Now I'm finding I'm missing things. To me, it's a shame. 🙁

Global Heatmaps Limited to 13 months data

Why are the global heatmaps now limited to 13 months of data? I am not sure when it changed but previously the global heatmaps data went back multiple years. Losing this functionality severely hampers route building for hiking, mountain biking, etc. An option to filter the timeframe for global heatmaps which is available for personal heat maps should be available and it should provide heatmap data that goes back as far as possible.

Galaxy watch 4 dissapearing activity

I am experiencing the following issue.Using a Galaxy watch 4. I finished an activity on the watch ( disabled battery saving mode on watch and phone before I finished the activity on the watch. Saw a short message "open on phone" but the acivity did not  appearin stava. Went to settings on the watch and "Not synched" displayed "0". Rebooted the watch and my Galaxy S21 but nothing appeared in strava. Is there any hope to recover my activity?

Switching to Custom HR Zones Halves RE

Hi,I wanted to adjust the HR zones from the default to the Karvonen ones, as they seem more realistic for me. On doing this i discovered that even though this change boosted time in zone 4 (less zone 3) for near identical rides, it halved the RE (relative effort).On inspection just the act of switching the HR zones to custom, but setting the zone boundaries to those calculated by the 'auto' feature had the same effect. (Forcing a recalculation by switching ride type and back)I want to carry on getting the consistent RE so I can look at the historical 'fitness' (aka training load) data, so I shall carry on with the Auto zones. To me this can only be a bug, unless there is something I am missing?

Dashboard page

Lately, I have a problem with showing rides on the dashboard page. When I load the ride it appears normally during activities. The next time I see only the rides of my friends on the dashboard page. Mine aren't here. On the Training - My activities page, all my rides are normally visible. What's wrong with the Dashboard page?I have an annual subscription.Thank you

Heatmap Errors

I have an oddly specific heatmap issue I am hoping someone may be able to help correct. I often use a bike-train-bike approach to commutes, pausing my watch for the train ride and resuming during the second leg of the bike ride. There are 2 specific efforts where the train ride remains on the heatmap, so using the custom date filter I was able to find each effort and split into 2 activities, then cropped out the last few hundred feet before/after the train, but the tracks still remain in the photo below. As I said, oddly specific, but does anyone have an idea how to correct this minor aesthetic issue?

Add Commute as an activity type to the quick edit

I like the new quick edit function, and I'm sure you don't want to clog it with everything, but can you add the ability to tag the activity as a Commute? Maybe as a check box rather than a drop down menu like in the normal edit screen. Thanks, love your work!

Add shoes/gear to the Quick Edit

The Quick Edit is a great feature that makes it easy to quickly edit a recent activity. But it would be even more useful if shoes/gear was part of it. Runners tend to use different shoes for different kind of runs. And tracking the shoe usage is already a great feature but it’s currently a bit annoying to have to do it in so many steps.

Remove "walks" from running challenges and expand challenges for walks

Walks have been added to running challenges as of January 2024 and as a person who does both run and walk acitvities as separate sports, this has ruined the experience of challenges in the app for me, and in general.My walks are no counting towards running challenges which rightly used to be separate. They are separate sports.I found an idea here from last year where somebody requested the opposite and now it has been implemented. From their point of view, they were lesser abled and some walks "felt" like runs to them, which i acknowledge - however, the solution there is ti simply record a running workout on your device, not a walk.To improve the experience for walkers then more 5k, 10k and monthly mileage challenges can be set up to keep it interesting. Last year I really enjoyed tracking my walking challenge and sepaately doing the running challenges. Now there are fewer challenges in total which seems like the app is getting worse, not better.Also importantly need to point

How do I disable the "activity logged" notifications?

Every time a Garmin activity is synced with Strava I get a notification saying "Kudos" "Wow" "Another activity down" and stuff like that. I have turned off the push notifications so I don't get them on my phones notification area, but that doesn't stop the notification icon in the app and website telling me I have new notifications.This means that if I ever get any real notification then I just won't see it because of all the spam, making the notification icon on the website and app completely useless.I have looked through all the settings but can't find anywhere to customise what notifications are enabled.

Photos on profile

Hello! (This is my first forum post!)I've been using strava for years now and love it, i love all the features for the premium version too. But i was wondering if there is any way we somthing could be updated so that we can view all our photos on our profile not just the most recent 100. this would be awesome as then it would make looking back alot easier. i'm not computor savvy but in my head just thinking about i can't think of any reasons not to? it'd be awesome if somthing could be updated. thankssam

Max nr of photos

Hi, i noticed that the maximum number of photos is about 100. When uploading new pictures, older ones will disappear into the void. When deleting some images, those older ones re-appear so it seems that they’re still stored somewhere. Is it possible to increase the number of pictures that are accessible on ones profile?
