Strava not allowing me to save new routes

Tried to save several new imported routes covering various geographical locations but despite uploading the route and letting me view the route it won’t let me save it. I get the message “unable to save route, please try again later” . Ive been getting the same error message for almost a week. Plotting a brand new route myself seems to work. Im using the Strava website for all of this.
